The apartment is an extension on the gable side of the villa and has its own entrance on one long side of the villa. Via the apartment's balcony area you reach the entrance. Once inside you are greeted by a cozy and pleasant apartment with a combined living room and kitchenette. In the living room there is a sofa bed and the kitchenette is equipped with an electric stove, bench stove, fridge with freezer compartment, microwave and coffee maker. Bedroom with a comfortable 140 cm bed, bathroom with shower and washing machine. The apartment disposes of part of the garden with lawn and fruit trees which is outside the entrance of the apartment. On the balcony there is a grill and summer furniture, a nice place for lovely moments and conversations over a good piece of food and something good in the glass. The apartment has WiFi connection. In Strömstad there is a large selection of activities, rich restaurant life, pleasant shopping in small shops that are close to each other or why not just sit and enjoy all the boats in the harbor area. From the apartment you walk, take the city or free buses to the city center and all the entertainment or to the bathing spots, of which there are several to choose from. If you want to experience islands and the archipelago environment, there are several boat charters and bathing boat tours from the harbor in the center out to several archipelago islands such as Furholmen or Kosteröarna but also to neighboring Norway. It is also possible to rent a boat or kayak for your own explorations. For those interested in golf, there are several 18-hole courses in the area. A few kilometers away is a nice beach with a jetty, where you can also rent paddleboards and canoes from the owner on-site if desired. Perfect for a little trip out on Lake Mälaren to Sigtuna harbor, which is within easy reach. Lovely large summer house where you can enjoy the scenic location with fantastic views while you have the community of Högsby close by if you need anything. You have a large garden with a nice patio deck and outdoor furniture. Here you can really enjoy the tranquility surrounded by meadows and unbeatable nature while you catch a glimpse of Högsby in the distance. Take a walk by the wonderfully beautiful Emån, which runs so beautifully through Högsby. Emån is also popular for those interested in fishing as the fishing is good. Gösjön is a large, nice swimming area with a jumping tower and jetty where you can enjoy wonderful holiday days. There is also mini golf and a kiosk. The house's entrance floor consists of social areas, such as a kitchen, dining room and two living rooms with sofa groups. Upstairs you have a total of four bedrooms. One with a double bed, the other three each with a single bed. There is also a sofa bed in one of the rooms. You also have a beautifully furnished attic with two bedrooms. One with a double bed, the other with two single beds. There are therefore plenty of beds, but the house is rented out to a maximum of 8 people. The house has only one small bathroom, it is located on the second floor and is equipped with wc, sink and shower. Note that the windows in the houses are older and very fragile and therefore cannot be opened. Burning in the fireplaces is not permitted. You are close to more bathing islands and also the coast. In Oskarshamn you can enjoy sea bathing and a larger selection. Here you can take a day trip with the ferry over to Byxelkrok on Öland. You also have nice sea baths at Oknö. More Kastell, Småland's Grand Canyon with its 8 km long gorge is well worth a visit. There is a restaurant at the Aboda Klint nature reserve. You have two popular cafés in Berga that are well worth a visit, Café Tre Århundraden and Elsabo Herrgårdsscafé. Moose Park is in Målilla. You are also close to the Kingdom of Glass and to Vimmerby where you have Astrid Lindgren's World.

Ätran is also known for excellent salmon fishing (a fishing permit is required). We recommend a visit to the small village of Slöinge, which has a well-known bakery and café, an ice cream factory with a café, and a cider mill with an outdoor serving area. To the north you quickly reach the lovely summer town of Varberg, and to the south, Halmstad. By car you can also reach Europe’s largest shopping center, GEKÅS in Ullared, in no time.

Welcome to this well-planned and newly renovated small cottage. It may be small in terms of square meters, but the floor plan, ceiling height and sleeping loft make it feel spacious and fresh. The cabin shares the plot with the owner, whose house is about 50 meters away from the cabin. There is a large plot of land to stay on. And behind the framhouse of which this cabin is a part, there is a large lawn which is also available. The Cottage consists of a large room which is living room and kitchen in one. Next to the kitchen is the bathroom. The sleeping places are divided into 2beds ina a sofa bed in the living room and two places in the beds in the sleeping loft. NOTE low ceiling, see picture. The sleeping loft is reached by a steep ladder. There is outdoor furniture and a barbecue available, as well as bicycles to borrow. The owners recommend a bike ride to a nearby swimming area, calledTorne bathing area, a little over 5 km away. There is also a swimming area closer, just over 2 km away. The location is perfect to experiencing all the best of Småland. Deep enchanted forests, shimmering lakes and streams, blooming meadows and open fields. Little red cottages, winding roads and beautiful stone walls. Just a couple of kilometers away you have Åsnen, which is a completely unique lake archipelago with over 1000 small islands.

There is much to discover here; take a trip to the first Stockholm; Birka, and see the excavations there, an exciting piece of history. If you want to get into Stockholm, the bus goes nearby, but if you want to see a little more, you can take a shuttle boat from Ekerö center into central Stockholm, a nice boat trip!
