Upstairs there is a day bed and 6 cozy built-in sleeping alcoves, 3 on each side. Here you live in a house located on land where the Vikings lived and there are many ancient remains to visit within cycling distance. If you are familiar with Viking history, it may be interesting to know that the famous Ardre stone was found in the exact place where this house is located. The house has two patios so you can watch the sunset until the last ray of sunlight fades or enjoy breakfast in the morning sun. The house is built in traditional Gotland style, with stone, plastered walls and an indoor floor made of Gotland marble with underfloor heating. Preparing tonight's dinner outside on the charcoal grill when the sun turns the sky red and enjoying the tranquility is relaxing. The house has an open floor plan between the living room, dining area and kitchen, which creates a very homely and familiar feeling. There are two bedrooms, one of which has a very comfortable double bed and the other room is equipped with two comfortable single beds. The cottage is located in a quiet summer house area on a large flat plot where the main house and guest house are connected by a terrace. Built in the 1820s and renovated by the owners to retain its contemporary feel, you have here a spacious and cozy accommodation for the large family or perhaps 2 families traveling together. The cottage is on the same plot as the owners' own summer cottage and shares the plot with them. The small lake that is nearby is also shared between the two cottages. Experience Småland in lovely rural surroundings but still be close to a lot because in only about 10 km you will get on the E4 and can go both north and south on excursions. The cabin consists of a cozy kitchen, large bathroom and a spacious living room. There are 2 bedrooms on the first floor, one with a double bed adjacent to the living room, and one with a single bed. On the second floor, which has a sloping ceiling, there is a bedroom with a double bed, as well as a room with a bed that can be pulled out to double if desired and a sofa bed. This room is not as well insulated as the others and is mainly recommended during the summer months. To the cottage and to the other houses around, there is a shared private swimming area with a bathing jetty, barbecue area and sandy beach with lawn that you share. The cottage is red with white knots and has a large inviting balcony where you can see the lake between the trees that sparkle below. The lawn invites you to play with swings on the grounds. There is a nice glazed conservatory with seating for 6 people and here is also the entrance to your accommodation. You are welcomed into a narrow hall with space for shoes and jackets. Directly to the right, the living room opens up, which is integrated with the kitchen area. It is bright and with a very homely warm style. There is a sofa with an armchair and a TV. In the living room there is a fireplace that you can use. You buy firewood at the nearest grocery store. The kitchen area has a dining area for 6 people and the kitchen area is next door. The kitchen is from 2019 and in a good standard with an induction cooker, a newer cooker hood and a dishwasher. To the left into the hall is the large bedroom with a double bed.
