Welcome to this charming cabin by Lake Simsjön in Skövde! The cabin is a peaceful oasis with a large balcony that offers a fantastic view of the beautiful lake. Here you can sit outside and enjoy the morning's hot cup of coffee and meals, enjoy nature and explore all the wonderful things the area has to offer. The cabin has a bright and inviting hall that welcomes you. It is single-level and has a newly renovated kitchen with a panoramic view of the lake. The living room is cozy and inviting, perfect for relaxing. The cabin has a bathroom with shower and toilet. In the first bedroom there is a bed that is 120 cm wide. The second bedroom has a bed that is 90 cm wide and a smaller bed for children that is 165 cm long, making it a perfect place for a family. Next to the cabin is an annex with a bunk bed that is 80 cm wide and a comfortable sofa bed that is 160 cm wide and a TV. Close to the cabin, you come down to the bath with sandy beach and docks. There is also a nice restaurant/coffee shop here and it is usually open from May to August. Here you can enjoy good food in a beautiful environment. If you are interested in water activities, the homeowner has a rowing boat for 4 people that is included in the rent, and you can also rent a kayak at the beach, which is only a 2 minute walk from the cabin. This gives you the opportunity to explore the lake from the water and enjoy the tranquility. For those who like golf, Skövde Golfklubb is only a 10-minute drive away. If you prefer other activities, there are many possibilities nearby, including the Skövde center, where you can find an adventure pool, shopping center, tennis and paddle halls, mini golf, restaurants and much more. Welcome to a classic red cottage with white knots, where horses and cows graze in paddocks outside in rural idyll. The house is of an older character and is located on a horse farm. A perfect accommodation for a family or group of 4 people. Here you are in a quiet area but close to several historical places. The house probably has most of what you could need for your stay, there is a separate biochemical toilet in the bathroom, but still bright and fresh. The kitchen is rural with plenty of dining and social space. There is a fridge/freezer, dishwasher and microwave. The living room has a sofa group with a TV corner. In the bedroom there is a double bed of 180 cm and a bunk bed. You enter the back of the house and you come straight into a smaller hall and the kitchen to the left. If you open the door on the front, you will see the garden surrounded by a stone fenced yard where the cows graze on the other side. The owner of the house lives in the white house behind Ert where there is also a stable. Pets are welcome as long as they don't run loose because of the farm animals and the road outside. The road is a minor gravel road that leads you out to the E20. The cottage is located near Mariestad where you can take nice dips in Lake Vänern or in any of the other lakes that are around. For those who like nature, you can hike, cycle, pick berries and mushrooms. Bathing areas are available in several places not far from the house. Brännö is a living archipelago island in the southern part of Gothenburg's archipelago with approximately 900 permanent residents. The island differs from the other islands in the archipelago thanks to the agriculture, piloting history, customs and shipping that have been the main source of livelihood. Song composer Lasse Dahlqvist has made the island famous through his songs. If you want to experience the classical dance at Brännö pier, walk to Husvik on the southwest side in approx. 20 minutes. From the mountain at the old pilot's lookout, at the island's highest point, you have a view from Vinga to the entrance to Gothenburg. The small houses and the narrow roads give the island a charming impression. The island is car-free, but there are taxis that you can order to transport you and your luggage smoothly to your cabin. Otherwise, there are carts that you can borrow to transport your luggage. 3 bikes are available to borrow and more are available for rent on the island. Also take the opportunity to borrow the boat, which is available for loan, as well as 2 sea kayaks for wonderful paddle trips. The island has everything you need! Shop with post office, restaurant, bakery, cafe and church. There are also plenty of bathing spots. The closest is Pannevik where you can eat well at På Brännö Värdshus and there is also a rustic and homely restaurant in the harbour. Via a narrow land connection, it is possible to walk over to fantastic Galterö. Here there is a rich birdlife and a lovely nature. If you want to learn more about Brännö's history, you shouldn't miss the small charming local museum in the middle of the island. This is a very nice accommodation for families with children who want peace and quiet, proximity to swimming and a perfect starting point for nice outings in the fika town of Alingsås or if you want to take a day for the big city life in Gothenburg. The house is located on a farm run by the house owners. They live in the larger house in front of the cottage. On the farm there are animals that belong to the land, including horses, cats and the homeowners' two dogs that roam freely on the farm. Only 500m away is the bathing area Lygnared's camping and bathing area. There is ice cream, coffee shop and café here. A well-visited swimming area with docks, jumping tower, kayak rental and more. The nearest neighbors are the cows that live in the pasture next door, which provide pleasant company during the holidays. This fine house with historical roots in the 19th century is incredibly beautiful in a cultural landscape with the forest outside the knot. The house has been completely renovated with a lot of flair. In the large country kitchen you will find all comforts but also a cozy and warming wood stove. The living room next to the kitchen has plenty of space for socializing and also a large dining area. On chilly evenings, you can light the stove and enjoy the glow of the fire. If you are a family with children, take the opportunity to take a day trip to Skara sommarland and swim or experience the wings of history with a visit to Varnshem and walk in Arn's footsteps. This is a perfect accommodation for the smaller family or you as a couple who want to experience swimming, nature and historical places. The cabin is smartly well-planned for every square meter and feels more spacious thanks to the bright interior and homely feeling. You are welcomed into a yard with parking right outside. Outside there is a seating area for enjoying meals in the sun. Directly to the right is the kitchen area with most of what you might need.
