You have everything you need for a fantastic holiday here in the house with your own beach and jetty, but would still like to take you out, there is plenty to do nearby. Just about 600 meters away is Påarp's farm which has a restaurant, café, canoe rental and football golf. Welcome to a very nice red house in a rural setting. Scenic area with large plot and newly renovated inside 2020. On the lower level you are greeted by a welcoming entrance and a fresh kitchen. The kitchen has a dishwasher, microwave, oven and stove in new condition. Simple but tastefully decorated house with good living space. No channels on the TV, but here is instead Chromecast to use so that you can watch via your mobile. Upstairs are four bedrooms with a total of 7 beds. The width of the beds is: 180 cm, 160 cm, 140 and two 90 cm.The downstairs bathroom was renovated in 2023. There is a glazed porch and a large plot where you can get active or just relax. Or why not light the grill in the evening and enjoy good food and the sunset. In the immediate area there are two nice lakes: Sansken and Sämsjön. In Sansken, it is bathing friendly and shallow, while Sämsjön is a much larger lake with recognized good fishing. Firewood is available for grilling in the barbecue area. Pets are not allowed. The cottage is located on the owner's large plot with pastures around and from the cottage's window you can see the horses' beautiful silhouettes wandering past. A large and lovely lawn with outdoor furniture means that you are welcome to take your meals outdoors when the weather allows. Inside the cottage there are 2 bedrooms. The larger of the rooms has two beds - 140cm resp. 90cm. The smaller bedroom has a bed that is 140cm. In the adjacent guest house there are two more single beds that are each 90cm. Thanks to the size of the cottage, we recommend that you have a maximum of 5 adults + 2 children or young people. The cottage has a combined living room with a smaller open kitchen and a bar table that seats 5. There is a new bed sofa in the living room with extra space for an adult person or two children. There is a nice sauna in the bathroom as well as a shower, sink and toilet. The area is known for its beautiful beech forests and to and from the cottage you drive on one of Sweden's most beautiful roads. Many cyclists and motorcyclists love to ride on this road as it aces itself beautifully. If you like organic, there is an older style country store nearby. In Hyssna a short distance from the cottage there is a famous hiking trail and a well-visited Café. Tjolöholms Slott, which is close by, is also worth a visit. If you want to swim, Lygnern is only 300 meters from the cottage. You will find the municipal bathing place in Sätila 10 km from the cottage. Here you live in very beautiful nature, in a quiet cottage area, at the end of the street that borders the forest and the path down to swimming in beautiful Lake Vänern. The cottage was built during the 1970s and there have been ongoing renovations with replacement of fridge / freezer with new floors indoors and where most things are in the 70s style. The kitchen has an open floor plan with dining area for 6 people and a wood burning stove next door. The living room has plenty of seating and a large window with lovely light from the patio. To the right of the entrance is a small corridor. The first room on the right is the bathroom with shower / toilet. The room opposite is a smaller bedroom with a bed 120 cm wide. Adjacent is the master bedroom with a double bed 180 cm and further in there is a bedroom with a bunk bed 80cm wide. Behind the house there is a furnished Friggebod / Guest house with 2 single beds, a small TV and its own small terrace. The house is located in a quiet cottage area with the forest next door. Between the cottage and the white house opposite, a path goes down to the cottage area's bathing area. It takes about 10 minutes to walk there. There is a bathing jetty, a small sandy beach and the possibility of grilling. Take the opportunity to make an excursion to Läckö Castle. There are also ancient monuments in the form of rune stones, pilgrimage trails, idyllic and green surroundings with small roads and several nice bathing places. The kitchen is a combined living room with a sofa bed 140 cm wide. To the right you will find the bathroom with toilet and shower. To the left of the kitchen corner you will find the bedroom with a bunk bed 90 cm wide and wardrobe. Walk through the garden down a small path down to Rinnaren, a small lake with a jetty and where there is sun in the morning, so why not start the day with a morning dip. Here you also pass a public boules court on a nice lawn for the public. If you want a larger bathing area with restaurant, toilet, sausages and ice cream kiosk, you can take a 10 minute walk to Flämslätt. The owner of the cottage has a summer cottage on a common plot about 50 m from your house. The cottage is only 10 minutes from Varnhem's monastery ruins where you can have coffee and experience one of many beautiful pilgrimage routes. If you want excitement, you can choose to visit Skara summerland, about 15 km from there or play on Axvalla trotting track which is also about 15 km from there. Good to know about the cottage: We recommend short showers when the water heater is small and plug in when you arrive. This is a perfect holiday home for the larger family/ company with high demands on location and standard. Here you can enjoy the beautiful nature during all the seasons, and during the summer you can bathe and fish in the lake of Skagern, and not least, you can enjoy the holiday home with all its facilities like the whirlpool or the wood burning bath barrel. The holiday home is built the year 1778 and is called “Flygen” and means “the wing”, and has been carefully renovated with all amenities and with tasteful furnishings. Still many of the old details have been preserved, adding to the charm of this holiday home. On the entry level you will find the bright kitchen area with its own exit to the generously sized patio, with sunlight from morning to evening. Here you can admire the wonderful view of the lake over a good meal. If the weather is too cold you can take your meal to the beautiful dining area which is connected to the kitchen, or you can go the ground floor where you will find an inviting living room with a wood burning stove. The living room is equipped with both a TV and a comfortable sofaset. On the same level there is also a bedroom with two single beds and a beautiful fully tiled bathroom with a whirlpool tub and shower. Upstairs is an additional living room with a sofa bed and TV, perfect for the children and the youngsters in the company. On the same level there is a bathroom with shower and four bedrooms. Two of them are sturdy bedrooms with wide double beds in each room; one of them even has a wood burning stove. The holiday home is situated on a park like ground, where you dispose a private part of the lawn stretching towards the lake. There you will find a nice little shallow beach and a small bridge where a boat is docked, which you can rent and go on wonderful trips filled with fishing and bathing. Fishing is free of charge in the part of the lake which belongs to the owner. Of course you must take the opportunity to take a dip in the relaxing bath barrel, where you can sit and enjoy the starry nights. The bath barrel is shared with the three other cabins on the property, and costs 1500 SEK/occasion including wood for heating. (see house 40719, 38743 and 38744). It's possible to rent it between May to October, the season depends on the weather. Here you will live beautifully and close to many excursions sites in lovely surroundings, and the delightfully rustic feeling increases with all animals on the estate. You can visit the knight week in Hova (always week 28) which is always fun and exciting where you can experience the tourney and the medieval market. Feel free to take a trip with one of the passenger boat next to “Göta kanal” which is the biggest canal in Sweden and discover all the locks and sights that the journey offers. If you want to shop you will do that advantageously by going to the old charming districts of Mariestad. This delightful holiday home is located by Hunneberg on Vargön. It is a cottage set next to one of Sweden's most well-maintained rectories. Carl Von Linné stayed there in 1746. The scenic environment is perfect for long walks or bicycle rides. It was carefully renovated in 2015. Care has been taken to keep the old look and atmosphere. Bicycles can be rented for 100 sek per week and bicycle. There are four available. The holiday home features four bedrooms, two on the bottom floor and two on the upper floor.
