To the left of the hall you will find the white and fresh kitchen, which is fully equipped with stove, oven, fridge, freezer, coffee maker and microwave. There is also a small kitchen table with chairs where you can sit and enjoy the view of the grounds and the lake. To the right of the hall is a large dining room table and chairs, where you can enjoy your meals while looking out over the beautiful garden and lake. In the spacious living room, you can relax in front of the TV and enjoy the warmth of the crackling wood stove, perfect for slightly cooler summer evenings. The bathroom is newly renovated and has both a toilet and a shower. The bedroom is bright and furnished with two single beds, each 90 cm wide, for a good night's sleep. For a shopping trip to Borås, it only takes 15 minutes by car. In Borås, you can find good deals both in the city center and at the shopping center "Knalleland". Also, don't miss a visit to Borås Zoo, a well-kept zoo on the outskirts of the city. Bring sausages and bread to use the free electric grills in the park. Borås also has a large selection of good restaurants. Take the opportunity to eat a lunch buffet at one of the many Asian restaurants in the city, where you can enjoy good food at reasonable prices. The larger city of Gothenburg, with attractions such as the Avenyn parade street, the Liseberg amusement park and the interesting Universeum, is less than an hour's drive away. From the mountain at the old pilot's lookout, at the island's highest point, you have a view from Vinga to the entrance to Gothenburg. The small houses and the narrow roads give the island a charming impression. The island is car-free, but there are taxis that you can order to transport you and your luggage smoothly to your cabin. Welcome to a charming 19th-century house, called Ekeberg. This beautiful property is located on beautiful Kållandsö, only a stone's throw from swimming in Hörviken. It is also close to the magnificent Läckö castle, Hindens reef and the Spiken fishing camp. The house is in a rural idyll and the interior is in the same style. Here you have a great chance to see both moose and deer that like to roam freely in the fields outside your house. You are welcomed into a green garden with a beautiful gazebo. Behind the red entrance door is a bright, spacious hall. Directly to the left is the kitchen, which has everything you could need, including a nice old iron stove. Next to this is the house's fine room with a tiled stove. To the right of the entrance is a small sleeping alcove. Next to the sleeping alcove is the house's bathroom with wc, sink, shower cubicle and washing machine. The stairs up lead to the upper floor. There is a large common room with TV and comfortable sofas and armchairs. The room is divided by the stairs and behind it is a double bed 180 cm wide. The room inside is the house's last bedroom with two single beds 90 cm wide and an older junior bed. The water for the house is called "Vänervatten" and is perfectly drinkable. In the kitchen there is a jug with a water filter in it. The water is clear and nice, but if you want, you can get water to fill up in a can at Hörviken, down by the marina, or buy water in a store. The water can of course be used for cooking, showering and washing oneself in. A rowing boat and two kayaks can be rented at the bottom of Hörviken - shared with guests in the other houses - rented for a price per day per boat/kayak.
