The kitchen is well equipped and has everything you could need and a dining area is by the window in the living room. Here you can sit and look out over the lake and the beautiful surroundings. On the outside of the house, there is outdoor furniture so you can enjoy both morning and evening sun. Have a good dinner by the pavilion and enjoy the birdsong. Here in Källebacken as the area is called, there is a marked path leading up to Grotteberget, which offers an even more magnificent view of the area. From Källebacken there are also connecting routes to Västra Vätterleden. If you would like to swim in Lake Viken, it is less than 5 minutes by car. Only 26 km you reach Tiveden National Park. Here is genuine Swedish wilderness in a hilly and wild forest landscape with dramatic fissure valleys, beautiful forest lakes, giant blocks at Stenkälla, views from the Trollkyrkobergen and the beach at Vitsand. Worth a visit is also Forsvik's lock, which was built in 1813, Göta Kanal's both the oldest and highest single lock. Please note: The cottage is not rented out to youth groups. Welcome to this traditional and inviting holiday home! Set in a beautiful environment, this is the perfect cottage for a relaxing holiday! The holiday home is only 300 metres from a beautiful sandy beach and there are about 20 different lakes within a distance of 10-15 minutes by car. The open-plan cottage has a combined kitchen and living room, with a TV with satellite channel, a DVD-player, and free wireless internet access. There are two bedrooms with two single beds in each. There's also a cot. In the annex you will find a double bed. In the indoor bathroom you will find a WC, a washbasin, and a shower. There's a second bathroom in the annex. The living room opens onto a lovely furnished terrace, and next to it you will find a comfortable conservatory. The terrace has a beautiful view of the nearby lake. The nearest beach is only 300 metres away. If you wish, you can rent a canoe (220 SEK/day or 700 SEK/week). The many lakes in the area are excellent for fishing. A boat is included in the rent and there's also the possibility to rent an extra boat and a motor. If you visit in the wintertime you can go skiing in Isaberg (30-45 minutes away by car). There are many interesting towns within driving distance, for instance Halmstad and Varberg, both lovely coastal towns which are very popular amongst tourists in the summertime. The beautiful nature reserve Säveåns Dalgång is not far. The cottage features a small kitchen with an electric cooker and a fridge. The cosy living room contains a TV and a sofa bed for two. There's a single bed and a double bed on the mezzanine, which you access by climbing a steep set of stairs. The bathroom features a WC, a washbasin, and a shower. Another popular attraction is the Gräne mine, where feldspar was mined for, among other things, the porcelain industry from the end of the 19th century. Feel free to bring your picnic basket and have coffee at one of the landscaped picnic areas. The nearest town is Överlida 5 km. Welcome to rural living with forest and magnificent nature not far from Tivedens National Park and close to two of Sweden's largest lakes, Vänern and Vättern. Here you can enjoy wonderful baths with many attractions and exciting day trips. The house has a lovely plot with a large lawn for happy children to play, romp and run around. A perfect accommodation for families with children who want a good accommodation as a starting point to discover everything nice that is around. Smoking is totally prohibited due to asthma. The house is of older style and the interior is mixed. You enter a spacious hall. Directly to the right is a staircase to the upper floor where the bedrooms are located. Next to the stairs is a bathroom with washing machine / toilet and a hand shower. Straight ahead is the kitchen area with dining area for 4-6 people. To the left you have two rooms and the living room offers the heat of a stately stove. There are two comfortable sofas and a TV. Next door is another room with a sofa bed 120 cm wide. Here you go out to the terrace to grill and enjoy birdsong and sunset. On the upper level there is a sofa bed directly up the stairs which will be 120 cm wide. The first bedroom is bright and has a double bed of 180cm. On the right side is a children's room with a bed of 160cm. Here are toys and drum kits you are welcome to borrow but of course be careful. Directly in front of the corridor is a small toilet with sink. There is a little chafing on the wallpaper and a house of an older character. But perfect for you who want a spacious and simpler living in the country but with a lot of space and proximity to many wonderful excursion destinations. Lake Torstholmen is only 4 minutes walking distance from the cottage where your own small rowing boat is waiting and which is part of the house. The accommodation is perfect for a family with children or a larger group who want proximity to swimming, beautiful nature and where you can also live alone.
