Here you live at a comfortable distance to Köpingsvik which has several nice restaurants and lovely beaches. If you would rather have some peace and quiet, you can go east to Kårehamn which, in addition to the beach with white sand, has both a nice fish restaurant and fish shop. Öland offers bird watching and wonderful nature life all around the island. For the active, you can also cycle, hike, wind and kite surf, dive, ride, play mini golf, etc. To Borgholms, which is the main town on Öland, it is about 13 km with its many shops, restaurants, some of which are located on the quayside down in the harbor. Here you have a kilometer-long sandy beach with beautiful dunes. If you want life and movement, you choose to swim at Böda Sand, if you instead want a calmer beach stay, there is e.g. Happiness Sand and Homrevet. The coffee house in Böda has fantastic pastries, bread, salads and pizza. The smokehouse in Böda with its restaurant and fish shop does not disappoint. You must not miss Byxelkrok, where you can enjoy strolling around in the small shops down by the boat cabins. Enjoy a bite to eat and a good drink in one of the many restaurants. The cabin, which was renovated in 2018, is in good condition with open up to the ridge for lovely space. Here you have a spacious patio of 20 sqm where you can enjoy a good meal or just relax in the sun loungers. The cabin is well planned with an open floor plan. There is a kitchen and dining table for 4, as well as a double bed and a sofa / day bed that can be converted into a double bed. The kitchen is equipped with fridge, microwave, coffee maker, kettle and 2 hotplates, but not oven. Toilet with shower and sink. Laundry room is available in the Service Building in the area. Barbecue is also available if desired. This whole cabin area has a 25-year age limit for renting. And parties are avoided as at 23 it should be quiet and peaceful for everyone's comfort. You live perfectly in Böda with walking distance to grocery store, summer restaurant, café and the most important in Böda, the beach. Something you must not miss is to visit the wonderful Byxelkrok where you can stroll around among the shops in the small boat cabins in the harbor. There are plenty of restaurants and ice cream cafes. In the evening you can enjoy the sunset on the pebble beach at the boat docks. Even south of Byxelkrok there are such wonderfully beautiful vast pebble beaches. An excursion to Byrum's raukar is also usually popular. You only have about 5 km to Bödabukten and Böda Sand which suits those who want more activity. For a little calmer beach stay, Lyckesand and Homrevet are suitable. You have a wide range of leisure activities nearby: Golf, horse riding, mini golf, fishing on the shores of the Baltic Sea or from fishing boats. Many arts and crafts exhibitions, farm sales, museums and the famous Viking village attract many visitors to Öland. Other attractions are Borgholm's castle ruins, the lighthouse Långe Erik and the limestone formations at Byrum Sandvik and Neptuni fields and Trollskogen with its Naturum are all worth a visit. The garden and the area are child-friendly and quiet, but you are still close to swimming, shops and restaurants. In the garden there is garden furniture and a barbecue.
