Nice wood-burning stove and fireplace in the living room. There is a TV in the living room, no channels but DVD and movies available. Kitchen with small dining area, dishwasher, and kitchen equipment. One bedroom with a double bed and one with a bunk bed, in addition there is a bedroom with a single bed and access to the bathroom. This room has a roller blind that can be pulled down by the bed to make it more unobtrusive when others walk to the bathroom. The bathroom is newly refurbished with a toilet, sink, and shower cubicle, underfloor heating. Large terrace with garden furniture and barbecue. Great hiking opportunities in the area. The cabin is located a few minutes from the lake Ørsjøen with three beaches. The main beach is below Buerskogen camping with piers and a raft, the campsite has a playground with trampolines. Here, you can catch trout, pike, trench, and perch. Lots of blueberries in the area and a rich wildlife with birds, squirrels, and deer. The holiday house is not far from Halden with everything a small town has to offer and where a visit to Fredriksten fortress is recommended. A short drive to Sweden for shopping. Note that there is a 250 meters walk from the car park to the holiday house, the owner has a trolley in the car park which can be used for luggage. Nice holiday home in Buerskogen near Halden. The cabin is well maintained and pretty. There are three bedrooms here, one with a double bed and the other two bedrooms with bunk beds. There is an open kitchen and living room with access to a large terrace, where there is both a barbecue and an outdoor fireplace. The terrace faces west and therefore has a lot of sun. There is a separate bonfire outside with benches and a fire pan. On cold days, there is both a fireplace and a wood-burning stove inside, as well as a heat pump. The cabin is five minutes from lake Ørsjøen. Here there are three beaches to choose from. The main beach is below Buerskogen camping. Here there are docks and a raft. At the campsite itself there is a playground with trampolines. There are good fishing opportunities both in Ørsjøen, Iddefjorden and Berbyelva. There is good fishing and lots of trout and perch. The Halden area has great nature. Here there are many rivers and waters where it is nice to set out with a canoe or kayak, great hiking opportunities and the opportunity to see both moose and deer in the area. In Halden you will find nice restaurants and shops. Here is the Fredriksten fortress, and in the summer the music show Allsang på Grensen finds place. Halden is close to the Swedish border and it's not far for a bit of shopping. A short drive to Fredrikstad with its sights and the beautiful Old Town. A small terrace outside where you can relax on sunny days, and a barbecue should you want to cook outside. The house is old but well maintained. The ground floor has a spacious kitchen and a living room. Cozy fireplace, wood is included. On the first floor, there are two bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with bunk beds. There is an annex on the plot with a bathroom with hand basin and shower cubicle. There is also a toilet room with dry toilet, not WC. Several good fishing lakes in the area. The Halden watercourse includes fishing in Halden, Aremark, Marker, Aurskog - Høland and Trøgstad. All lakes have many fish species and large stocks of the most popular fish species, so here there are good opportunities to catch. You can also rent a canoe and experience the Halden Canal on your own. The Halden Canal offers some routes and charter trips by steamboat during the summer season. On the journey you really get to experience what Norwegian nature has to offer: large lakes, narrow canals, high locks, open meadows, and forests. If you are lucky, you could see both beavers and ospreys. The steamboat Prøven runs scheduled trips on beautiful lake Kornsjøen from kl. 12 every Saturday and Sunday in July. In Halden you can visit Fredriksten Fortress and maybe see “Allsang på grensen”? Easy to take a quick trip to Sweden should you want to do some shopping.

The holiday house has a dining room with space for 12, kitchen, hallway, toilet with sink, bathroom with sink, shower and combined washing machine/dryer. Living room with sofa, TV and fireplace. WiFi and Streaming TV. One bedroom with two bunk beds and one with a double bed. As an extension of the dining room, there is a veranda with morning sun and an awning. There is plenty of wood in the wood shed behind the cabin to use for a fireplace or bonfire. There is also a heating fan in the cabin which can be used for heating in winter and cooling in summer. There is an annex on the plot which is also insulated for winter. The annex consists of a main room with a family bunk for 3, sofa and TV, as well as a room with a raise and lower bed. There is a built-in veranda in front of the cabin with large sliding plexiglass doors with which you can seal off the entire front, and in spring and summer enjoy outdoor mornings and evenings regardless of the weather.
