A small climbing park can be found in the area. A friendly farmer nearby sells eggs and firewood on request. Please note that there is a steep staircase and sloping ceilings on the first floor. There is a road barrier on the way up to the cabin, but it is free of charge; you receive a code before arrival. It is about 34 km to the town Gjøvik. In Gjøvik, you find the old ferry Skibladner, called the white swan of Mjøsa, the largest lake in Norway. Approx. 21 km to Totenbadet, a large indoor swimming facility. The holiday home is located 112 km from Oslo city and 90 km from Oslo Airport.

Holiday home with a beautiful location, great view and lots of sun. In winter, there are only a few hundred meters to the ski slopes on the golf course of Hemsedal Golfalpin. 15–20 min. drive to Hemsedal ski centre. Large plot not too close to neighbors. The cabin is built in traditional Norwegian style and has a spacious terrace. Cozy living room with both a fireplace and a wood-burning stove and access to the terrace. Cable TV and internet. Well equipped kitchen. Two bathrooms, one with a lovely hot tub. Washing machine and dryer. The cabin has three bedrooms, one with a double bed and two with bunk beds. There is a large veranda as well as a lawn, a swing stand on the plot and a fire pit for barbecuing. Towels and bed linen are included in the rent. When conditions permit, there are ski slopes up to the Gravset ski stadium and the trail network there. Toboggan run for the children 300 meters from the cabin. Hemsedal ski center is one of the best ski center in Norway, run by Skistar with all associated offers. Countless summit tours available in the Hemsedal area. In the summer, you are only a few hundred meters from hole 4 on a great and challenging mountain golf course. The course accepts Greenfee guests and is rarely fully booked. Good hiking opportunities on both sides of the valley and a large selection of summit hikes and mountain hikes of varying difficulty only a short drive away. Other activity options in the Hemsedal area are fishing, horse riding, via ferrata, mountain biking, canoeing etc. There is a small water park for children of all ages at Tropicana on Gol approx. 15 minutes’ drive from the cabin. The holiday home is not let to youth groups.

In winter, there are groomed trails in the immediate area from Atnasjø Kafé. More opportunities for cross-country skiing are also available on Venabufjellet or in Folldal, both approx. 30 min. away by car. An ideal starting point for famous mountain peaks in Rondane at an altitude of over 2000m. If you're lucky, you can also meet wild reindeers! Fishing in Atnsjøen or nearby rivers and lakes, or canoeing on Atnelva or boat trips on Atnsjøen. The area can offer a number of great fishing lakes with trout and char. Lots of berries in the autumn. The cabin is located next to the Atnasjø Café, where you can buy coffee, cakes and dinner in the high season. The cafe also rents out a boat with a motor for use on Lake Atnsjøen. Popular with canoe hire at Atnelva (local company). Grocery store (Joker Atnbrua) is only 2.6 km away. The nearest town is Folldal, approx. 30 min. drive. Distance from Gardermoen airport is approx. 3 hours by car.

Pleasant holiday home at Buerskogen in Halden located in fantastic nature and with a beach within walking distance. The cabin contains a hallway, large living room with sofa corner and dining room. Nice wood-burning stove and fireplace in the living room. There is a TV in the living room, no channels but DVD and movies available. Kitchen with small dining area, dishwasher, and kitchen equipment. One bedroom with a double bed and one with a bunk bed, in addition there is a bedroom with a single bed and access to the bathroom. This room has a roller blind that can be pulled down by the bed to make it more unobtrusive when others walk to the bathroom. The bathroom is newly refurbished with a toilet, sink, and shower cubicle, underfloor heating. Large terrace with garden furniture and barbecue. Great hiking opportunities in the area. The cabin is located a few minutes from the lake Ørsjøen with three beaches. The main beach is below Buerskogen camping with piers and a raft, the campsite has a playground with trampolines. Here, you can catch trout, pike, trench, and perch. Lots of blueberries in the area and a rich wildlife with birds, squirrels, and deer. The holiday house is not far from Halden with everything a small town has to offer and where a visit to Fredriksten fortress is recommended. A short drive to Sweden for shopping. Note that there is a 250 meters walk from the car park to the holiday house, the owner has a trolley in the car park which can be used for luggage. A restaurant on the ground is open in the opening hours of the alpine center. From the cabin, there is only a short drive to Langedrag Nature Park, open to visitors all year with 25 different animal species and a selection of old livestock breeds and wild animals from the Norwegian fauna.

The Brya flows into the lake Finstadssjøen a couple of kilometers from the holiday home. Here you can both swim and fish, fishing licenses can be bought online. During the berry season, there are unimaginable possibilities for all kinds of wild berries, like filling the freezer with mullet for Christmas dinners. In winter, there is a skiing area right outside the holiday home and a lighted trail nearby. Approx. 5 km to a large network of slopes. To Savalen with ski lifts, it is approx. 38 km. Great opportunities for ice fishing on Lake Finstad if the conditions are right. There is a cleaning/gut area for fish with access to running water. Pleasant apartment perfectly located near alpine and cross-country skiing opportunities at Geilo. Here, you can put on your skis right outside the door and have everything within easy reach. About 6-8 minutes’ walk to the ski lift, where you also find Kikutkroa with a good selection of food and wine, and at the top of the lift, there is a small wine bar with a fantastic view. It is possible to order bed linen when booking. Towels are not included and need to be brought by guest. The apartment is small and practical. It contains a small hallway, open kitchen/living room with TV and internet and two bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with a single bed. In addition, there is a sofa bed in the living room. The apartment is centrally located in Kikut with a bus stop right outside the door. The location is also a perfect starting point for cycling, climbing, hiking, cross-country skiing, and slalom. Geilo offers several traditional events, including Spark WC in January, Easter parties at Kikut, Slarverennet and Skarverennet in April, "Helt på Vidda festival" in August, Oktoberfest and food market in September and Christmas market in December. Geilo is a small mountain town with many shops, a large selection of restaurants in the center, on the ski slopes and along the hiking trails. Local food has long traditions in the village, and there is a local gourmet shop in the center. There are over 90 fishing lakes/rivers in the area, possible to book guided fishing trips. The fishing season is all year round, with trout as the dominant species in the area. There is a free shared laundry room on the ground floor with washing machine and tumble dryer.

Great hiking opportunities in the area, and if you want a summit hike, you can visit Fjellsjøkampen (812 m). Hurdalssjøen Hotel has boats, canoes and kayaks for rent and offers guided tours for a fee. In addition, the hotel has a great spa. Lots of blueberries, lingonberries, and mushrooms in the area. During winter, you can ski at the alpine center at Hurdal 6 km away, with slopes for both young and old. Avoid long queues and enjoy yourself on the slopes all day. Great cross-country skiing opportunities right outside the cabin door. Just below the cabin, there is a farm with horses and cows.

The cabin has 1 bathroom with a washing machine, and a fully equipped kitchen. The cabin has a living room combined with an open dining area. The cabin is brand new (2017). The cabin has a small hallway with a bathroom containing a shower and washing machine. You then enter the living room, which has a bright and open atmosphere with large windows. The kitchen is practical and fully equipped. The kitchen also has a small dining table. The kitchen is adjacent to a gas fireplace that heats the living room. On the 2nd floor you will find 3 bedrooms, one of which contains a TV and a sofa and can easily be converted into a small TV room. It is a bright and nice cabin with tiled floors. The common areas consist of a kitchen, dining room, loft and living room in one large room. This gives the cabin a good and practical layout. The kitchen is modern and fully equipped, and right next to the kitchen is the dining table, which has two benches on each side with sheepskin on it. The living room is open and nice with high ceilings, and contains soft sofas, TV, and fireplace. The loft leads up from the living room and contains a small TV nook with Netflix available for our guests. The cabin contains a large and nice terrace with outdoor furniture and a barbecue.
