One hour's walk to lake Endalsvatnet for freshwater fishing for trout. 1 km to the river Davikelva with small trout. The hiking path Nordsjøløypa is 7.1 km with an ascent of 384 m, the trip takes about 2.5 hours and starts in Davik. 300 m to the owner's private marina where the rental boats are located, fishing equipment can be stored in the boathouse. Filleting place in the shed and outside with light and water. You can drive all the way to the boats. Holiday home by the sea at Sognefjord. Sørbøvåg is a quiet and cozy village with approx. 200 inhabitants in Hyllestad municipality. The house has fantastic panoramic views of the fjord, good beds, pleasant and practical furnishings, water-borne heating - and peace and quiet. Sauna for 3-4 people. Entrance with a bench and room for hanging clothes on the wall. On the first floor, the two single beds can be put together to make a double bed. Bed linen and towels are included in the rent. External storage room for fishing gear with underfloor heating and water. The holiday home is part of a terraced house with 2 other holiday homes. There are partitions between the houses, so you live undisturbed and with little noise from the neighbor. This house is in the middle. Terrace with panoramic views of the fjord, islands and mountains. About 100 m from the holiday home to a nice little beach with toilet, benches and tables as well as a barbecue. It is 50 m to the reception with personnel who speak German and English. Indoor gutting room for fish and freezer are available. Great fishing and ideal for paddling on the fjord. There are about 100 marked trails in the area. Hiking on the mountain Lihesten offers panoramic views of the islands. A popular day trip is island hopping in Solund with its approximately 1,700 islands, where you take the post boat to the islands and go ashore wherever you wish. The historic park Kvernsteinsparken in Hyllestad is also worth a visit. THe owner has boats for rent; choose between sizes 18-24 feet and 25-200 hp engines. Fuel is filled at the dock. All boats have chart plotter/GPS/sounder/fish finder. NB! Boat must be booked at the same time as booking the house. You can pay by bank card. Nice holiday home centrally located in the center of Stavang with room for 8 people and a view of the sea. Here, you are within walking distance of the center and the marina. Stavang is located on the far north side of the Førdefjorden with a great view of the islands and the sea. Stavang is close to the sea and the surrounding islands and an ideal starting point for fishing. You can go by boat in all directions, whether you like small fish in shallow water between the islets or larger fish out in the fjord/sea. The nationally renowned Helleristningsfeltet in Ausvika is well worth a visit. There are great hiking opportunities for mountain hikes with the mountains Vikafjellet in the north, Hornelen in the east and Nova in the south. Stavang Landhandel is located by the marina and offers groceries, a post office, gasoline and diesel pumps with a card machine that can be used 24 hours a day. The marina also has a nice pub. From Stavang, you can take a trip to Norway's westernmost town Florø. Another popular destination is Svanøy with Svanøy Gaard and deer farm that is well worth a visit. Both Florø and Svanøy are 10-15 minutes from Stavang by boat. In the middle of Stavang, there is an open space with many beautiful historical buildings, such as Haavtunet, Stavang Church and Stavang Marina.
