At the shop you can buy a hiking map for the area with information about the wonderful fjord and mountain landscape. Only 500 m away is a hiking trail to the lake Hopsvannet. In lake Sør-Kvingevannet it is possible to fish for trout. From Masfjordnes there is a cable ferry to Duesund for nice day trips to the millenary site of Gulating, Norway's oldest courthouse, in a lovely park area with sculptures. Otherwise, Skjerjehavn is a favorite tourist destination, an old trade and tourist hub that has been restored back to ancient times. Here, there is a lovely hotel with good food and drink as well as shops and bars. If you want to experience a big city, the capital of Western Norway, Bergen, is 1 ½ hours away with art and cultural offerings, restaurants, shops and great hotels. Charming holiday home on a small Westland farm with boathouse, boat and own shoreline. In the middle of a fantastic mountain and fjord landscape with Bergen an hour's drive away. There is no farming, but the meadow is mowed and tended. From the holiday house and the plot is a great panoramic view of the fjord. The holiday home was modernized in 2017 and has two living rooms, one of which is adjacent to the kitchen area with a dining table. Two of the bedrooms have a double bed and a single bed.
