In summer, you are just a few steps from the beach and beautiful cliffs at Nisser. Perfect should you wish to bring a kayak. In addition, this is a very popular area for mountain biking with great cycle paths. You can cycle around Nisser to Fjonesundet, about 40 km, here you can see Norway's smallest cable ferry Fjoneferga. Nissedal climbing center is only 10 minutes away. During winter months with lots of snow, the last hill up to the cabin can be a bit of a challenge, but the cabin is in a cul-de-sac, and you can park at the bottom of the hill and walk the last meters up.

The owner's private pier is not intended as a place to stay for guests, but you have access to the sea and a boat for rent from the pier by agreement with the owner.
