Welcome to a fantastically cosy, sunny and unique accommodation on Östholmen, a peninsula north of Grebbestad in Tanum municipality. Here you live 10 m from the sea with a lovely sea view, salty baths and "your own" jetty just a few meters away in a calm and pleasant environment with the forests near the beach, forest animals and birdsong around the knot. Start the day with a lovely morning swim in the sea before enjoying your breakfast in this peaceful beachside environment. The cottage includes a small rowing boat, perfect for taking you over to the island opposite, where there is the opportunity to dive from bare fine rocks or for a while fishing for mackerel or trout. The cabin is also perfect for those of you who want to go out with your own kayak, there are many fine paddling routes in the area. The cottage and associated annex have been carefully renovated and updated over time while preserving the fine older environment. From the front porch you are welcomed into the cozy country kitchen with kitchen furniture and a nice warming wood stove. In the new kitchen area there is a fridge and freezer, microwave, built-in oven, induction hob, fan, coffee maker and dishwasher. Living room with a comfortable sofa bed and TV, two bedrooms, one with a bunk bed and one with a 140 cm bed. The newly built bathroom has its own entrance from the outside and is equipped with a shower and a Cinderella electric toilet. Note that there is a step up to the bathroom. On the lawn outside there is summer furniture and a barbecue for cozy relaxing barbecue evenings where you can sit and discuss today's adventures or plan for tomorrow's excursions while the sun sets in the northwest. The cottage includes a larger annex with anteroom, combined kitchen and living room and a bedroom. In the kitchen area there is kitchen furniture, stove, oven and fridge/freezer, however, water may be fetched in a bucket from the cabin, living area with sofa bed and TV, bedroom with a comfortable 140 cm bed. From the lawn you continue out onto the small headland where the jetty is located, here you can sunbathe from the rocks and enjoy lovely salty baths. It is not far to several of northern Bohuslän's picturesque fishing villages, eg Grebbestad, where in addition to experiencing the narrow alleys, summer shops, restaurants, you can also rent boat charters, fishing trips or why not a kayak to experience the beautiful archipelago outside. Several nature reserves with fantastic nature can be found in the area, such as Sweden's first marine national park Kosterhavets national park is well worth a visit. Also take the opportunity to visit the Vitlycke museum, which is a knowledge and experience center in Tanum's world heritage - an area with around 600 petroglyph sites. Here you can go with a guide, or wander freely between the outcrops and interpret the unique carvings.
