Here you live in a quiet cottage area on the owner's plot and lovely terrace with lawn as a view. When you get up in the morning and open the door, you can hear the birds chirping, and if you take the cup with you up on the small mountain next to the cottage you can enjoy miles of views. On Tjörn in beautiful Bohuslän is the old fishing community Kyrkesund. Here you live close to nature, the sea, beautiful cliffs and harmony. The guest house is sheltered behind the mountain on the owner's plot, with a wonderful terrace where you will enjoy many of the day's hours of sunshine. Feel the feeling when you open the door, hear the birds chirping, open the coffee cup and enjoy. With an open floor plan, there is both a small kitchen with dining area, sofa and bathroom with toilet, sink and shower. The sofa is easily converted into a sofa bed in the evenings with dimensions of 160cm. Via a slightly steeper staircase is the sleeping loft which has two single beds - 90cm (no legs). Here it is slightly lower in ceiling height. There is a fan for warm summer evenings and an openable window. The cottage is not suitable for smaller children as the steps are steep. In the vicinity of the cottage there are many different hiking trails. A 15 minute walk will take you to Pilarne which is a very well known attraction. Feel free to bring the bikes if you have the opportunity because then there is a lot to discover. Maybe a trip over to Härön where you can enjoy your own rock ledge for swimming and picnics. If you like kayaking, there is room on the plot if you have your own kayaks and there are many nice coves to discover. This charming holiday home is set by the harbour in Rönnäng, on southern Tjörn. It's a former fisherman's cottage dating back to the 1860's. The cottage features a cosy kitchen with a wood-burning stove, an electric cooker, a microwave oven and other appliances. There's a kitchen table and another table in the living room. The ceilings are low and the entire bottom floor has beautiful wood flooring. On the second floor, there's a bedroom which can be separated by a large curtain. There are two single beds (120 cm & 90 cm) in the outer part of the room, and a double bed in the inner part (2x 80 cm = 160 cm). There's also a sofa suite in this room. The second floor bedroom opens onto a lovely balcony with a delightful view of the harbour. The beautiful garden features an outdoor sitting area, excellent for dining and relaxing. There's a lovely, sandy beach on Klädesholmen, only two kilometres away, with cliffs, a bathing dock, and a diving tower. Here is also restaurants such as Restaurang Salt & Sill. There are also rocks for sunbathing and swimming just 300 meters away. Tjörn is a stunning island, and an excellent base for exploring the archipelago. Why not catch a ferry to the car-free islands of Åstol, Tjörnekalv, and Dyrön? Skärhamn has plenty of restaurants, shops, entertainment and culture. In the area there are hiking trails (Bohusleden) as well as various excursion destinations such as Älgafallet, a magnificent waterfall with 46 m height, well worth a visit. The river above the fall forms the border between Sweden and Norway. In Tanumshede there is a very worth visiting world heritage site and a rock carving museum. Take a trip (approx. 45 km) across the border to Norway and Halden for a visit to Fredriksten's fortress or why not to Strömstad (approx. 30 km) a city by the sea with a large selection of activities during the summer, rich restaurant life, nice shopping in small shops that are close to each other and you feel a salty cooling dip in the summer heat, it is a short distance to the sea, rocks and swimming, feel free to take one of the bathing boats out to one of the islands in the Strömstad archipelago.
