Here you will find rest for body and soul and a perfect holiday for families with children or groups of 4-6 people. In this Swedish idyll, you will enjoy being close to several nice bathing spots, along with Lake Vänern, which is Sweden's largest lake. You are welcomed down a small gravel road with the river right behind the house. The plot is partly hilly at the back. At the front there is outdoor furniture with a grill for good dinners. The entrance is under a roof where you like to sit and look out over the rape field outside. You are welcomed into an open floor plan with the living room straight ahead. In the room there is a large inviting sofa and TV with Swedish TV channels and Chromecast. The house also has wireless wifi. The kitchen is on the left with a dining area for 6 people. The kitchen area is open and fully equipped with everything you may need for a pleasant holiday and good dinners. There are two bedrooms in the house. One has a double bed of 180 cm and the other with 2 bunk beds, suitable for children who want a cozy crawl space. There is a bright fully tiled bathroom with sink, wc, shower cubicle and also with washing machine. Good if you have smaller children or want to stay longer. Straight ahead in the bathroom there is also a lovely sauna, for chilly evenings and cozy moments. Straight ahead, a door leads out to the house's small terrace at the back and there you are completely undisturbed for the morning's first cup of coffee in your robe with the river babbling and the trees rustling. If you want to find nice tours, there is a lot to do. A visit to charming Nuntorp farm is a must with locally produced, stone oven baked pizzas and plenty of goodies. Brålanda offers secondhand and ICA. Mellerud has nice trails in the forest, plenty of fishing spots and swimming is a must in beautiful Lake Vänern. The nearest bathing place is only 10 minutes by car from your accommodation. If you want to fish, there are plenty of pacifiers with good bays. Fishing license bought in grocery stores in, for example, Brålanda. If you want to shop, visit Grinstad Lanthandel, a nice selection and charming store. Welcome! A warm welcome to this charming cottage in Färgelanda! The cabin is located in beautiful nature and a wonderfully peaceful environment in southwestern Dalsland. It is well planned with an open kitchen and a dining table with chairs for two. Adjacent to the kitchen is the living room, equipped with a TV and a comfortable sofa that can easily be turned into a 160 cm wide bed. There is also an extra mattress for increased comfort. In the morning you can enjoy a cup of coffee on the small terrace and take in the wonderful nature, chirping birds and the peace. The cabin's power comes from solar cell energy systems that allow it to generate and use self-produced electricity from the sun. On the outside of the cottage there is a separate building with a sink, shower and washing machine. There is also a separate toilet. The cottage is secluded but shares the plot with the home owner. In the surrounding forests, there are plenty of opportunities to pick berries and mushrooms. For those who love hiking, there are hiking trails nearby. A recommended choice is Karl XII's väg, the most famous hiking trail on Kroppefjäll. The trail stretches over Kroppefjäll on historic land where Charles XII and his Carolines are said to have traveled on their way to Fredriksten's fortress in Norway. Only a 35-minute drive away, you can visit Evenstorps Gård, where you can buy organic KRAV-labelled beef, own raspberries and rhubarb. For the kids, there are several different animals to look at and pet, including mini goats, alpacas, Shetland ponies, mini pigs, rabbits and chickens. Within walking distance of Eventorp's farm you will find a unique rock carving, and in the Kroppefjäll nature reserve there are fine hiking and cycling trails as well as lakes where you can swim, fish and paddle. From the cabin, you can also make day trips to Nordens Ark, Havets Hus in Lysekil, Smögenbryggan and fishing and boating communities in the northern part of Bohuslän. For those who want to spend a day on the golf course, there are several fine courses within a radius of a few miles to choose from, for example Dagsholms GK in Färgelanda or Torreby Golfbana, Bohuslän's oldest golf course, which is located in a castle environment with an English-inspired castle park.

Welcome to a charming and cozy countryside cottage with bright interiors. The house is peacefully located and features an impressive 7,000 sqm garden. Here, you can relax and enjoy the tranquility surrounded by spacious lawns, fruit trees, and the forest just beyond the property. In the garden, you'll find a wood-fired sauna with a deck and outdoor seating, as well as a barbecue area next to the sauna. Firewood is included for both the sauna and the grill. A lovely little stream flows beside the sauna. There are beautiful hiking trails just outside the cottage, and the nearest lake is about 12 km away. The cottage is well-equipped and offers a good standard of living: Wi-Fi, TV, and a cozy kitchen for six people with all necessary kitchen equipment. There’s an electric stove, fridge and freezer, dishwasher, microwave, range hood, coffee maker, kettle, and running water. Please note: The wood stove and wood boiler in the kitchen must not be used. There are three bedrooms with a total of six beds. Two of the bedrooms have two single beds each, and the third bedroom has a double bed. Upstairs, there’s also a lounge area with a corner sofa and a table for socializing, located between the two upstairs bedrooms – one with a double bed, the other with two single beds. On the ground floor, there is one bedroom with two single beds. The living room includes a TV, sofa set, coffee table, and a dining area with seating for six. The bathroom was newly renovated in 2025 and is fresh and modern, with a toilet, sink, shower cabin, and washing machine. The cottage is heated (or cooled, if needed) via an air-source heat pump. Please note that the ceiling height in the house is slightly lower than standard. To protect the garden from wild boars at night, the owners have installed an electric fence. Wild boars are very shy and are rarely seen during the day. The fence must always be closed and turned on at night, even if you’re not spending time in the garden. The area is rich in wildlife – with some luck, you might spot deer, moose, hares, or foxes at dawn or dusk. There’s plenty to explore in the area: attractions such as Eventorps Gård, Nuntorps Gård, and a golf course in Mellerud. Great swimming spots can be found at Strömmers Vik by Örsjön, Sikhall by Lake Vänern, or even along the coast for a day trip. The owners have prepared a binder with more great places to visit nearby. This holiday cottage is located in the countryside, a few km south of Fengersfors in the beautiful landscape of Dalsland. The plot is situated on a height, here you can be by yourselves in peace and quiet with a nice view over forests and meadows. The fantastic nature in the surroundings has been featured in Astrid Lindgren's famous film "Ronja Rövardotter". You enter the cottage via the patio to a large hall, and further on from the hallway through the bedroom into the living room and kitchen. There is a dining area, a cozy fireplace and a sofa with a TV. The cottage has two patios with ceilings, perfect to enjoy a cup of freshly brewed coffee. A south-facing patio and one in the north, which you reach from the living room. In one of the bedrooms there is a bunk bed (a family bed) where the bottom bed is 120 cm wide and in the other bedroom there is a single bed. In the living room, there is a double sofa bed. From the hall you also enter the bathroom with wc and shower. Enjoy the silence and serenity here, with a cup of morning coffee or a delicious dinner during the lovely summer evenings on one of the patios. If any day would be chilly, you have the opportunity to make a fire and listen to the cozy crunch from the fireplace while you feel the heat spread in the cottage. During your stay here you can rent the owner's rowing boat which is by the lake Ärr, about 3 km away, for lovely baths and fishing trips. You can explore the shores of the lake and with some luck you can get a perch or pike (fishing license is required). A nice bathing spot with a jumping tower in the lake is Knarrbysjön, about 6 km away. Lake Ärr is part of Dalsland's canal and lake system. If you wish visit places out of here, you can visit “Not Quite” in Fengersfors, where they continuously working on transforming the old mill into a varied excursion. Here the visitors can meet arts and crafts in a different raw factory environment, in the garden, in galleries and even in Café and Bistro. You have about 15 minutes’ drive to the small town of Åmål with cafés, restaurants, shops and a rich selection of culture and leisure activities. A weekend in July is the annual Åmål Blues Festival. For golfers, it is only 20 km to Forsbacka Golf Course. Even during the winter period there are things to do in the area, for example opportunity to visit Åmål ski center, only about 15 km away. Here you have very pleasant accommodation and access to your own swimming area. For those who want more speed and life, Sikall's campsite is only a short distance away with a larger swimming area. This accommodation is ideal for the larger family or group with up to 8 beds. You live very idyllically in a scenic rural environment, where the horses Frasse and Baby graze outside together with the cows in the pasture. The house is on a farm run by the owner who lives in the house in front and who takes good care of you. You enter the gable and enter a hall. Directly to the left is the house's one bedroom. Here are two bunk beds with 4 beds. Perfect for the children/young people who want to be on their own. Directly adjacent to the bedroom is a bathroom with shower cabin, wc and sink. Directly in front of the hall is a laundry room with both dryer and washing machine. So if you want to stay longer or, for example, travel with small children, this is very good. Take the stairs up and you will reach the upper level. The house is bigger than you think and here there are large living areas for good company. To the left of the stairs is the house's second bedroom. The bedroom is large and has a double bed of 180 cm with a view of the meadow and you can glimpse the lake. Adjacent is the house's second bathroom with both a shower cubicle, bathtub, wc and sink. The large living room is homely and has a warm feeling. A stove is available for chilly evenings. Up here you can see the lake below through the windows. With a small landing and open floor plan you get down to the kitchen area. The kitchen is large and nothing is missing here. A well-equipped kitchen with plenty of accessories and a dining area. The two kitchen tables can be moved together if desired. After you have passed the kitchen, you come to the house's last bedroom. In here there is a double bed of 180 cm and a balcony door. Here you can go out and have your first cup of coffee in the morning and greet the horses. If you want a motorboat, access to the dock house with dock, you can book this on site with the house owner. There is also another smaller bathing spot in a secluded bay only about 200 m away with a sandy beach. Both swimming areas are shared with the home owner. Remember that you can bring your own life jackets! Included in the house are also 4 bicycles for adults, 2 bicycles for young people, 3 bicycles for children. ATTENTION! Bring your own helmet. Here you live in a rural idyll and there are animals on the farm. The homeowner has a dog, cats, horses and cows. Do not feed the animals in the pasture and show consideration for everyone who lives on the farm regardless of whether they have two or four legs. For those of you who want to fish, it's great in Vänern, a fishing license is not needed, however, you must follow the fishing rules that exist. Vänern is an eldorado for anglers! Salmon, pike and zander live in the lake. To get the best fishing tips, please contact the house owner. Take the opportunity to take a trip to Halleberg and visit the royal hunting museum and the beautiful outdoor area in Hunneberg. Here you are offered various experiences such as hiking, coffee and magnificent nature. For those who like to swim, there are many bathing spots around. Sikhall, Gaddesanna and Ursand to name a few examples. Feel free to go to the town of Trollhättan and see the famous Trollhättefallen, the lock area, the SAAB museum. In Vänersborg, with its small-town charm, there are adventure pools (indoors) and cozy cafes. You are close to the border with Dalsland, a day trip to the west coast Ljungskile, Uddevalla or the big city of Gothenburg. Here you will have a great time and feel good. The house is beautifully located with a view of pastureland and a small pond, not far from nice lakes and with beautiful nature outside. The house is of an older style and was built at the turn of the century in the early 20th century. Here there is a great chance to see Sweden's wild wildlife. Both moose, deer and fox can be glimpsed in the forest outside your accommodation. You are welcomed into a small hall. Directly to the left is the kitchen area with a dining table and seating for 4-6 people. The house has been carefully renovated to maintain the older charm with cupboards and shutters from the past. However, the stove is newer, and everything was freshly painted in 2021. To the right of the hall, the house has one bedroom with a single bed. Adjacent to this room is the house's bathroom with shower area, a WC and a sink. The stairs up to the right lead you to the upper floor. Beware of low ceiling height. Up here it is about 190 cm from floor to ceiling. Above the stairs is the TV corner with a sofa bed. Adjacent is the house's second bedroom with a 180cm double bed. A cozy accommodation for the family that wants to experience Dalsland's green forests and lake-rich areas. Outside the house is a sunny position where you can enjoy the outdoor furniture and barbecue. The house is on a farm that is sometimes used and next to the house is another house, but where people are rarely on site. In the area there is much to see and do. The rural location provides room for peace and relaxation, with over 100 meters to the nearest neighbor and with a common plot that you have to yourself during your stay. This house offers you large open spaces. From the entrance you enter the kitchen and out to the living room, here you have a wonderful view of the lake. In the living room there is a sumptuous sofa group, a TV and a dining table that seats 6 people. In the house there are 3 bedrooms, one with a double bed, a room with a bunk bed 75 cm wide, and a small room with a single bed of 90 cm. There is a bathroom equipped with wc, wash basin, shower, underfloor heating and washing machine. Discover Dalsland and treat yourself to a trip on the Dalsland Canal with one of the canal's canal boats. Tours throughout the summer. Experience sluicing, good food and the aqueduct in Håverud. The boats depart every day from both Bengtsfors and Håverud. You can choose to board at the place that suits you best. For those who like golf, you can visit one of West Sweden's best and most beautiful courses at Årjäng's golf club with its 18 holes. For those who like to swim, there is also Kråkviken's bathing area 7.7 km away with a sandy beach, jumping tower and restroom.

You can easily wrap your dressing gown around, take a short walk across the road and take a dip at the rest area. If you want a larger swimming area, there is one nearby. The garden is large and you have a view of the lake below. The house is red with old style white knots. The interior is nice, mixed style and the kitchen is somewhat worn. You live here for the proximity of Dalsland's beautiful nature, walking distance to swimming and the tranquility next door. The house is detached yet within easy reach of most things. You are welcomed into a hall with pine where there is plenty of space for hanging. To the left is the kitchen with a dining area for 6 people. Behind the kitchen is the family room and lounge area with sofa and TV. Down here there is a bedroom with a double bed but entrance to the wc/shower area. There is also a washing machine here, so perfect if you want to stay 14 days or travel with small children. To the right is a study/bedroom with two single beds. The stairs lead to the upper floor with another bedroom with a 140cm bed. In this bedroom you have a beautiful view of the lake. The bedroom here is special with a mammoth ceiling and wall painting from an old artist who lived in the house a long time ago. There is another toilet with wc/sink and shower area up here. In Edsleskog there are beautiful nature reserves; Bräcke Ängar - which is characterized above all by the old farming culture. Take a visit to Klöverud, which is Dalsland's highest mountain, Baljåsen - stretching 301 meters above sea level. When you have parked the car at the Petersburg croft and hike the trail via Björndalsberget up to Baljåsen, a striking view of the landscape awaits you. You live near the lake and here is one of the better sport fishing waters. Ängebytjärnet - a disabled-friendly sport fishing facility with implanted noble fish. Warm welcome!

The surrounding nature holds lots of berries and mushroom grounds, and you may purchase a fishing card to enjoy the several fishing spots available.

Welcome to a red croft in the country. Behind the house you can hear a waterfall that roars in time with the wind and the forest is right next door. The house is simple but charming and invites you to peace and tranquility in the Swedish nature. The road down leads you straight to the house, where you can park right next to it. The house is red with white knots and an older solid wooden door in blue. At the front there is seating under the tree and a slightly hilly lot, perfect for playing and lazy days. You are welcomed in via the back of the house. Then you come straight into the kitchen area. The kitchen is country style and the kitchen unit is IKEA. In the kitchen there is a fridge with freezer compartment, wood stove, mini oven with two hotplates and a small table with seating for 2 people. There is no hot water in the tap, but it is boiled in the large vessel on the wood stove or via the hob. To the left is the bedroom, which was renovated in the summer of 2022. Here are two single beds 90 cm wide that can be moved together. The wallpaper is light, green and a homely room. In the bedroom there is a chest of drawers with a sink. To the right of the kitchen area is the living room. Here there is a small dining area for 2 people, a fireplace and an older sofa that can be converted into a bed. It will be 120 cm wide. On warm days, you can open the blue door out to the front garden. By the window there is a planting table/storage area which is perfect to have when you have a good dinner or a typical Swedish coffee outside. At the back of the house is the outdoor shower next to the pump house. Toilet is a separate room located in the building in front of the house. There is also a small chest of drawers with a tub for washing. Water is collected inside the house. If you go down the hill, you will soon come to a beautiful small waterfall. Follow the path and you will come above the waterfall where there is an opportunity to swim. Otherwise, the nearest bathing place is about 10 minutes by car from your house. Even though we don't have wifi, it works fine to work from the cabin via 4G. You will have a good time here. Welcome!
