Welcome to one of Sweden's coastal gems in Bohuslän! Here on Koön, you’ll stay just a few kilometers from the activities in Arvidsvik and Marstrand, enjoying a beautiful view of the strait between Koön and Instön. The cottage, newly renovated, is situated on a slightly hilly plot. Just a few steps will take you down to the sea, where you can swim from the rocks—though it’s not the most child-friendly bathing spot. Outdoors, you’ll have access to garden furniture and a barbecue, perfect for enjoying lovely summer evenings. Inside the cottage, there is an open-plan layout connecting the kitchen and living room. The kitchen is fully equipped with all modern amenities and includes a dining table. In the living room, there’s a cozy seating area as well as a TV and a fireplace. There are two separate bedrooms, in one room there is a doublebed and a single bed 120cm and the other bedroom has a doublebed, as well as a bathroom with shower,washbasin and toilet (electric incinerator) and a separate laundry room with a washing machine and tumble dryer. If you’re interested in kayaking or canoeing, the strait below offers excellent opportunities, as the water is usually calm and serene. Welcome to a luxurious three-level house that accommodates up to 6 people and offers generous areas for the entire traveling party. The house is right on the water and has its own jetty with two bathing ladders – ideal for swimming and relaxing. On the ground floor, there is a bright, open-plan layout with a kitchen and living room with access to a patio by the quayside. Here there are two bathing ladders from the own jetty for a cooling dip. On this floor there is also a bathroom with shower, wc, wash basin and washing machine. The second floor has three bedrooms - one with a double bed and two with single beds - and a bathroom with wc, wash basin and bathtub/shower. From the balcony you enjoy fresh sea air. Upstairs there is a cozy family room with a simple kitchenette, for preparing breakfast, for example. A bedroom with a double bed and a bathroom with toilet, sink and shower. There are two balconies on this floor. The outdoor environment offers balconies in front and on the side of the house and an outdoor hot tub for up to 4 people - perfect for relaxation regardless of the season. A small sandy beach is 50 meters away and bathing ladders are available at the jetty. (Important not to swim out into the fairway from the jetty!) Next to the accommodation (approx. 100m) construction of a high-rise building is underway, which may periodically cause some disturbances. Restaurants such as Salt & Sill are within walking distance and the convenience store at Klädesholmen offers the essentials. You can easily make larger purchases in Skärhamn and then take the opportunity to check out the Nordic Watercolor Museum. In Pilane National Park there is a sculpture park. The house is located in the heart of Bohuslän, close to everything you may need for a peaceful holiday. Behind the cottage is the forest, which makes you feel the peace. This accommodation is suitable for 2 people as you live on a relatively small area. Everything is very cleverly planned where every square meter counts. Outside there is a nice terrace where you can have your first meal of the day with a view of the sea. Inside the cottage there is a small kitchenette with two hotplates, coffee maker and coffee maker. There is also a dining table with room for 2 people and a sofa bed 140 cm wide. Here you are met by a fully equipped kitchen directly inside the door, and practical hanging space in the hall. On the ground floor there is also a bedroom with a double bed and a family room with a kitchen sofa and dining table for seven, also a comfortable sofa group in front of the smart TV. Bathroom with shower, wash basin and toilet. A smaller, slightly steep staircase leads up to the upper floor where you will find two bedrooms - one with a double bed and one with three single beds. The ceiling height in the stairs is somewhat limited, so some guests should be prepared to crouch. The apartment has its own furnished terrace with sun from lunchtime to late evening and a barbecue for lovely summer evenings. You also have access to parts of the garden with a sandbox and swing, perfect for the children. The surroundings offer fantastic walking paths and proximity to several favourite spots. In the old days, when you went to church, school or the shop, you walked on a path that was exactly where the plot is now. To this day, the tradition lives on, and occasionally hikers pass by following these historic trails. Put on your backpack and go on a wonderful trip! Swimming area with rocks and bathing ladder is only 1 km away. For a dinner at a restaurant, Brygghuset in Fiskebäckskil (14 km) or Fröken Trulls in Morlanda (7 km) are recommended.
