With a view of the sea and the beach meadows at Galtabäck just south of Varberg, this small cottage with nice grassy areas is located in a child-friendly area. In the cottage there is a small kitchen, living room with carpet, two small bedrooms - one with a bunk bed and sliding door, the other with a double bed (new in 2022) and a curtain that separates the room from the living room. In the living room there is a single bed. New, larger water heater installed in autumn 2015. The cottage has Wi-fi with unlimited surf. The sleeping places are divided into four in the large house and four in the annex on the plot, built in 2010. There are two bunk beds in the annex. Glazed conservatory built in 2020. In the conservatory there is the possibility to set up tables for 10 people. There are folding tables and stacked chairs to use if you are a larger group that wants to have a lovely dinner together. In the area there are mostly holiday homes and the traffic is minimal because the road ends here. Bathing facilities are within walking distance. By car or bicycle, it is also close to the cozy community Träslövsläge or Björkängs camping with swimming and mini golf. Galtabäck's harbor a few hundred meters from the cottage is a quiet marina with boathouses, a bird tower, seating and a small boat museum which, among other things, displays wreckage from Galtabäck's ship from the 12th century. Near the harbor there is also Lenasofia's silversmith (limited opening hours). The lovely summer town of Varberg is less than 10 km away. Here there are nice little shops, outdoor restaurants, the well-known cold bath house and the Fortress, a defense facility that brings to mind wars in ancient times. The museum in the Fortress displays the bullet button that it is said Charles XII fell victim to. Just outside Varberg is Getterön, one of Sweden's most famous birding areas. There are also exhibitions, a shop and a café here. Bring your swimwear as Goat Island offers several nice beaches.

This well-kept holiday home is situated close to the sea, in a very attractive part of Halland. The countryside in this part of the country is amazingly beautiful. The holiday home is set on the same plot of land as the house that the landlord lives in. Your part of the land is secluded by a plank fence which offers you privacy. The bottom floor of the cottage features a charming kitchen, well equipped and comfortable.There is a nice bedroom with two single beds and a top-notch bathroom with a WC and a shower. On the second floor you will find a lovely bedroom with a beautiful view and a skylight. There is also a cosy little room with a TV and a sofa bed. From the lovely garden there's a 400 metre walk down to the sea. This area, Utteros, is famous for it's bird-watching. There are a variety of charming seaside towns nearby, such as Varberg, Kungsbacka, and Falkenberg. Falkenberg offers plenty of beautiful walking paths and excellent fishing opportunities. There are also tennis- and riding possibilities. Stroll through the Old Town and admire the picturesque view, stop for a coffee in one of Falkenberg's excellent cafés, such as Ståhlbom's. Take a walk along the River Ätran and admire the stunning view. Another nice place to visit is Tylösand, one of Sweden's most famous and popular beaches, several kilometres ling. It is situated close to Halmstad, a larger town offering shopping, culture and entertainment. Your holiday home is less than an hour's drive from Gothenburg, with it's famous amuzement park, Liseberg. To the famous shopping centre Gekås, in Ullared, it's about a 35 minute drive! Welcome to this wonderful summer paradise! For your information: The house is situated 40 metres from a country road but the traffic on it can hardly be considered disturbing.
