The Ätrafors dam, connected to Ätran, has a nice public swimming area with toilets, a jetty, barbecue areas, courts for boules and beach volleyball. There are also fishing opportunities here. You can find fine salmon fishing in the Ätran fishing area, a fishing license is required. A short drive away you will find Ullared's gigantic shopping centers.
