You are welcomed into a hall with the kitchen straight ahead. There is most everything you could need and a kitchen table with chairs. In the garden there is a terrace where you can enjoy breakfast and good dinners after a whole day on the sandy beach. There are two bedrooms. A bedroom with a double bed 180 cm wide. A smaller one with a bunk bed and in the living room there is a sofa bed approx. 140 cm wide. In the living room you can watch TV and there is wifi in the cabin. It is bright, homely in an older Swedish style. The grounds outside invite you to play. In the cottage there is also a bathroom with sink, toilet and shower. There is also a washing machine, which is perfect for those traveling with small children. The area is quiet and peaceful. Not far from the cottage is Mellbystrand with its beach hotel and small shops and restaurants. A modern, bright and pleasant annex in a really good location in Åsa. The cottage is on its own part of the large plot. A short walk takes you to a smaller swimming area with both rock bathing and a sandy beach. Nearby is the community center with all services. A perfect accommodation for the smaller family. At the entrance on the front of the house is the bathroom with shower and washing machine. The living room and the well-equipped kitchen are in an open plan. Here there is a dining table, armchairs and a lovely wood stove for the slightly cooler evenings. One bedroom has a double bed and one has a single bed. There is a sleeping loft with an extra bed in the form of a mattress on the floor. Exciting for an older child. At the back of the cottage there is a terrace with garden furniture, parasol and barbecue. In the living room there is a small TV and there is free wifi. The house has a lovely ceiling height that provides extra light and space. The house is accessible. Very close by is a small swimming area that is used by the residents. A little further away there is a larger public bathing beach with jetty, toilets and barbecue area. Here, the beach fills up quickly on a hot summer day. Rent a SUP and paddle around the bay. In the surrounding areas there are nice shops with everything from gift items, ice cream café and home bakery and last but not least Hvita Sand which is a popular restaurant right by the sea. Here you can eat good food or go to Afterbeach in the summer. From Gottskär you can watch the fishing boats or book a boat trip out to Nidingen. Near the cottage is the beautiful nature reserve Ölmanäs where you can walk and read about the area. Don't forget to make a trip to Tjolöholm Castle where you get guided tours and pleasant experiences. Lovely places to visit are also Fjärås Bräcka and Äskhults village.

Here are several seating areas which you can choose from, and where you can enjoy the sun in every direction or enjoy some outdoor activities. On the large beautiful ground floor there is a bright and spacey kitchen well equipped with dining area with floor-to- ceiling windows that provides a lovely view, a fully tiled bathroom with shower walls made of glass and a laundry room. Inside the large living room there are several seating areas, an angle area with glass walls that creates closeness to the garden and green area outside. The windows have slatted blinds in case the sun proves too strong. There is also a beautiful stone wall, and next to the staircase which leads to the upper floor there is a cozy fireplace where you can warm yourselves when the weather is a little too cold. On the second floor there is an additional living room with a cozy sitting area, sofa bed and an exit to a balcony which faces the green area. There are three bedrooms on this floor, with six beds combined. Two of the bedrooms have access to a lovely balcony where you can enjoy the sunset. There is a lovely additional bathroom on this floor with a bathtub and shower. The "bubble-funktion" does not work but you can use it as a regular bathtub. Apelviken is one of Northern Europe's best windsurfing beaches with an established surfing culture. As soon as the wind permits - and the ice is not lying - the enthusiasts are out and the sea surface is filled with sails. You are close to several nice summer restaurants by the sea. The nice beach promenade takes you all the way to Varberg. An electric train runs from Apelvikens Holiday Resort/Camping, along the promenade into the city centre. Varberg is a popular destination with the medieval castle Varbergs Fästning as an important landmark. In Varberg there is Halland's cultural history museum, which is known for the Bockstensmannen. In the city there are theaters, a cinema and a large number of concerts are given in summer. Many appreciate Varberg for its cozy little streets with good shopping. Fun little shops, market stalls every Wednesday and Saturday and in the harbor below the fortress a row of arts and crafts stalls. Just outside Varberg is Getterön, one of Sweden's most famous birding areas. There are also exhibitions, a shop and a café here. Another nice excursion destination is the Åkulla beech forests and for those of you who are technically interested, it is not far to the world heritage site Grimeton.
