Very child-friendly and nicely decorated house in Listerlandet within walking distance of swimming on one of Blekinge's most beautiful beaches in Sandviken. There is also a popular beach restaurant open during the summer. Even closer to a smaller swimming area is located next to the cottage area. The house has several patios in different directions that can be varied according to the sun's position depending on whether you want sun or cooling shade on the hottest days. The open plan of the house provides a pleasant atmosphere for cozy moments together in front of the fireplace. In connection with the fully equipped kitchen there is a dining table that can be adjusted according to how many of you are at meals indoors. Another very nice and bright living room is with a wood-burning stove and sofa group for shared moments. In one of the bedrooms with adjustable single beds there is a skylight and an opening glass section out onto the terrace. In the second bedroom with a double bed there is also a loft for those who want to retreat for a moment of their own time. The fresh bathroom with toilet, sink and shower. The guesthouse, close to the entrance of the house, has bunk beds where the lower bed is 120 cm wide. The garden around the house is lush and invites you to be active, but you can also enjoy a peaceful calm in the pergola, which has a roof of beautiful vines. For football fans, Mjällby's home arena, Strandvallen, is located in the nearest neighboring village, Hällevik. Nature reserves in varied, beautiful nature follow each other here in Listerlandet, for example, Sillnäs with its lighthouse and Listershuvud, which has a view of Hanö Bay. Daily boat trips from Nogersund to the unique Hanö are recommended. The small town idyll of Sölvesborg is easy to get to on foot or by bike, only 5 km via Europe's longest pedestrian and bicycle bridge.

Walking paths in beautiful nature with forests, meadows and along waterways are just around the corner and make your stay scenic. The house offers a warm and inviting atmosphere with a living room for shared moments around the dining table and on the sofa in front of the TV with the possibility of streaming from your own channel selection. The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering and also has a wood stove that provides pleasant warmth and increased coziness but should be used with caution. On the leafy back of the house there is a wooden deck with a charcoal grill and dining table furniture to enjoy meals at. Skärsjön, only a few kilometers from the accommodation, is a popular swimming spot with a jetty, outdoor gym and barbecue area. Many lakes in the area are available for those interested in fishing but require a fishing license that can be purchased from a local agent. The nearest sea bathing is in Nättraby a quarter of a drive south. From here you can also take the archipelago traffic boats out among the islands and to the naval town of Karlskrona center. In Karlskrona, the Marine Museum is an experience for both children and adults. An excursion to Barnensgård with a water slide, games and outdoor activities is recommended for families with children. In the area there are flea markets to visit and farm stands selling meat and accessories to take home or eat on site.

On the second floor there is a bedroom with a double bed and a living room with an extra bed. There is also a large modern TV screen with the possibility to connect TV games etc. In the leafy garden outbuilding there is a laundry room. A small hen house is also on the plot. The owner has two beautiful roosters that bounce around in the chicken coop. There are also bicycles to borrow from the owner. The nature in the area with its lakes is very nice and there is plenty of games. There are nice walking paths and hiking trails. Close by is a fully open inn and an open-air museum. Örkelljunga has everything you need in its pleasant city center. A good selection of shops and restaurants. Around Hjälmsjön you can walk on paths and smaller roads. A larger public bathing area is located at Mamma's Bay. There is a handicapped-accessible lake bath with jetty and barbecue area. Hjälmsjön is widely known by canoeists and rowers for its mirror-shiny water. In the adjacent lakes there are perch, pike and roach. The fishing license is valid for most of the nearby lakes. A bit north of Örkelljunga is Kungsbygget's adventure park. At Hallandsåsen you can visit Vallåsen's ski resort in winter. A short drive away you have Ängelholm's beautiful city with nice shops, the beautiful local park and its long beach. Visit the Bjäre and Kulla peninsulas. Here you will find lots of nice excursion destinations and strawberry places. For those interested in golf, there is Örkelljunga's golf club with a lunch restaurant. Örkelljunga also has one of the country's best mini golf courses. A few miles north, at Markaryd, is the elk park, a fantastic excursion destination for the whole family.
