A lovely farmhouse on the owner's horse farm, rural and scenic. The area has scenic walking and cycling routes. A perfect accommodation close to the pleasant holiday town of Ängelholm, Lake Västersjön with both swimming and fishing opportunities and all places to visit on the Bjäre and Kulla Peninsulas. The farmhouse is connected to the owner's farm. The house is a beautiful half-timbered house, newly renovated with a pleasant mix of old and new. The kitchen is fully equipped with a dining area. The slightly smaller bathroom has both a shower and a washing machine. The living room is spacious and has a modern TV (there are no channels on the television, but HDMI sockets). There is free wifi. Upstairs there is first a smaller living room with a sofa bed (120cm) and two spacious bedrooms with double beds in both. You have your own part of the plot with a framed and sheltered patio with garden furniture and barbecue. During the summer, the owner can offer a stall for anyone who wants to bring their horse. In the area there are nice walking paths and cycle paths. A short drive away is Lake Västersjön. There are several larger public bathing areas here, the closest is Äspenäs bathing area. Västersjön has a good fishing stock of, among other things, pike, zander, perch, tench, bream and eel. Fishing license required. Here you can also rent a boat. Hillarp's fishing ponds are nearby. Just north of Munka Ljungby is the salmon ladder, an exciting destination along the Rössjöholmsån. One of the lakes, just below the house, has a jetty and a child-friendly sandy beach. There are fishing rods and a couple of adult bicycles to borrow. The large terrace with a lake view invites the whole group to nice shared meals in connection with the barbecue area. All rooms in the house are very spacious with origins from the 19th century, which the owner has made visible in his careful renovation work. The large grass areas around the house invite to activities such as kubb and croquet. Endless walks in the forest with mushroom and berry picking provide relaxation and much-needed recovery during all seasons. In the entrance at the back of the house there is plenty of space for hanging outerwear and shoes. The open-plan layout of the fully equipped kitchen is in the heart of the house. Large living areas with a dining table that has room for everyone and a sofa group in front of the stove. Downstairs there is also a bedroom with a whirlpool bed, corner sofa and TV. The bathroom is spacious and has both a shower and a washing machine. The stairs from the hall lead up to the upstairs hall which has seating and a beautiful view of the forest and fields. From here there is access to all bedrooms. The two largest rooms have a double bed with electric adjustable beds and a single bed each. One also has a cot for the smallest guest. The other two bedrooms have a bunk bed each with a double bed at the bottom and a single bed above. Therefore there is room for three people even in these cosily furnished bedrooms. Another spacious bathroom upstairs has a shower in addition to a toilet and sink along with good shelf storage for your toiletries. In Holmsjö, which is located just under 7 km from the house, there is a grocery store, restaurant & pizzeria. Train station with the possibility of traveling both north towards Kalmar for a visit to the "Kingdom of Glass" and south to the naval town of Karlskrona to experience attractions in Blekinge's beautiful archipelago. For the children there is a lot to explore such as Skåne Zoo, Ystad Zoo and Tosselilla Summerland and much more. You can even take the ferry from Ystad to Bornholm.
