Even though it’s only been a few minutes since leaving the E6 highway between Lund and Landskrona, you’ll immediately notice the calm and the sound of birds chirping from the surrounding pine forest. The cottage is located on a plot next to another cottage we also rent out (9774). This cottage, with the character of a mini-villa, features a large wooden deck perfect for barbecue dinners and enjoying sunsets. Beautiful bushes and plants decorate the exterior. Youth groups are not permitted! The cottage has been continuously renovated to a high modern standard (completed in 2025) and is furnished with a high-comfort double bed, a spacious dining area in the winter-insulated conservatory, and a living room with a small wood-burning stove. The kitchen is situated between the living room and the conservatory and is both tasteful and practical. The bathroom is of high quality and also spacious! From the cottage, it only takes a few minutes by bike or foot to reach the illuminated trail in Sandskogen’s recreational area, or to the nearby Lödde River for fishing or canoeing. You can cycle the 5 kilometers down to Barsebäckshamn by the sea for a swim or a fish lunch at the local harbor restaurant. Here you’ll also find a lovely shallow sandy beach, grassy areas, and a swimming pier next to Barsebäck's camping area. Just a stone’s throw away is one of southern Sweden’s finest golf courses, Barsebäck Golf & Country Club, with its 36 holes. If you want to explore the surroundings in western Skåne, you can visit the long sand dunes of Bjärred and Lomma, perfect for beach days, or the cultural city of Lund and Malmö a few miles further south. To the north lies the Järavallen nature reserve with beautiful beech forests, sheep pastures, and excellent barbecue areas by the Saxtorp lakes. The shopping center "Centrum Syd," with a wide selection of shops, grocery stores, and restaurants, is conveniently located just a few minutes from the cottage. GOOD TO KNOW: Electricity is included up to SEK 500. If the cost exceeds this amount, the owner will charge extra. Currently, there are still renovation materials on the back lawn; entering this area is at your own risk. The basement is private and must not be accessed. Sun and swimming are associated with this island which is also called little Hawaii. The Hasslö festival and the Karlskrona archipelago party during the summer months are both events that offer a festive atmosphere. The two-storey house has its main entrance from the wooden deck on the upper floor. At the entrance there is outdoor furniture to sit on and with a view of the entire garden. The spacious hall has an entrance to the toilet and two bedrooms with a double bed each. Kitchen with all the possibilities for self-catering and a dining table to gather around. Another harbor is in Horn which is served by archipelago boats. Grocery store with export permit, restaurant and large playground within walking distance of the house. The cottage is located in a smaller holiday home area and here you will experience the peace and quiet with the forest at your fingertips. A perfect accommodation for nature lovers and families with children with proximity to all attractions on the Bjäre and Kulla peninsulas. The entrance to the cottage is at the back. First there is a spacious bathroom with shower. The kitchen is open with a dining area and next to an open room that has a pull-out bed with two beds. There is also a cot. The living room is bright with large glass panels and access to the outdoor room. Here there is a comfortable sofa and a stove to make a fire in if you stay here on a bit chilly days. The bedroom has a generous double bed and here there is also access to a terrace that gives you morning sun and a little coolness in the evening. The glazed outdoor room has comfortable seating. At the front of the house you have a very spacious terrace on two levels with several lovely outdoor furniture and a charcoal grill. Part of the terrace has a large awning. In part of the adjacent garage building there is a guest room with a spacious family bed. The plot is beautifully nestled by lovely flowering shrubs and has the forest as a neighbor. The lawn offers space for all the family's activities. In the area there are nice walks on landscaped paths in the forest around the cottage. Nearby there is a community facility with an outdoor pool, tennis court and playground. The pool is only open in summer. There is a sauna in the ladies' and gentlemen's changing rooms. Follow the instructions and prompts on the plastic. Right next to the cottage area is Lake Västersjön and here there is a great public swimming area with a bathing jetty, changing rooms and barbecue areas. Lake Västersjön has a good fish stock of pike, zander, perch, tench, bream and eel. A fishing license is required. You can also rent a boat here. Enjoy coffee and a lovely view of Lake Västersjön. Nearby is Djurholmen Nature Reserve with several nice hiking trails and coffee and barbecue areas. Just on the other side of Hallandsåsen is Vallåsen where you can ski in the winter and cycle downhill in the summer. At Kungsbygget you can go tobogganing in the summer. Visit the Bjäre and Kulla peninsulas. Here you will find lots of nice excursion destinations and hidden gems. A short drive away is the beautiful town of Ängelholm with small, cozy shops, the beautiful local park and its long beach. This cottage is not rented to youth groups.

Enjoy forest walks with berry and mushroom picking that provide fantastic and much-needed recovery on vacation. From the wood-fired sauna, which you get the wood for yourself, you have a view of the lake and just a few meters from a cooling dip from the jetty. Several furnished patios and also a pergola protected by plants to enjoy shared meals on or a relaxing moment with a book.The garden is full of exciting environments to discover such as rocks to climb on and small hiding places for those who want to play and get active, however, children need to be kept under supervision given the busy road and lake location. Grocery stores and other services are just over a quarter of an hour from the house, but for more activities and attractions, it is recommended to make an excursion to Karlskrona or Ronneby, which takes about half an hour by car. The perfect accommodation for family and friends who want to experience the beautiful Ronneby archipelago for real. Wonderful nature to stroll in along the sea and Ekenäs child-friendly beach with a jetty just a couple of hundred meters away. The house has a view of the harbor where the rowing boat for your own use during your stay is moored and available for a trip to beautiful Karö. Archipelago traffic boats leave daily during the summer from the harbor and several other jetties along the Ronneby River. The house, which is located on a secluded part of the owner's property, has its own lawn outside the door but has access to a larger area with a football goal if you want. In the hall there is space for outerwear and shoes. Further into the house is a large, bright living room with a double bed and sofa in front of a TV with Swedish channels on offer. Opposite is a smaller but cozy room without a door with two beds in a bunk bed. The well-equipped kitchen for self-catering also has a dining table to eat and gather at for communal moments if the weather does not allow it outside on the furnished terrace. In a separate building next to the house there is the private toilet with shower. There is a high chair and bed on request to borrow from the owner. Please inform us before arrival. Right next to the house is a playground, restaurant, café & ice cream kiosk that is open from May to late summer. More shopping and services can be found in the center of Ronneby with its historical charm and in the shopping area "Viggen" in the northern part of the city. Outdoor adventure pool in Ronneby Brunnspark with water slide and indoor spa facility at Brunnshotellet. The park is known for its wonderful vegetation, ponds with waterfalls and turn-of-the-century buildings with houses from the time as a health well. There is mini golf and an outdoor gym to get active with and exhibitions, flea markets and music events are also arranged during the summer.
