Welcome to this lovely holiday home located on the beautiful south coast of Sweden! The area is called “the riviera of Österlen”. The cottage has a small kitchen, equipped with the necessary amenities. There's an extra fridge and freezer in the storage room, where you'll also find a washing machine. The main bedroom features a double bed. There's also an open plan bedroom/ living room with a bunk bed. In the living room, there's a sofa suite, a TV, and a HDMI-outlet. On the other side of the lovely conservatory, there's an annex with a double bed, a wardrobe, and a window overlooking the wooden terrace. The seaside is only 1.8 kilometres away. There's a lovely walking path that leads through the forest to the sea. There are several great beaches in the area, Mälarhusens Strandbad and Sandhammaren, to mention a couple. Both of these beaches have ice cream kiosks and public bathrooms. The water in this area can be deep in some places and shallow in others, so ask around if you have small children. Österlen offers plenty of art and culture, you will find many little art shops, farms shops, and second hand shops in the area. There are many great destinations for daytrips, such as Tosselilla and Fyledalen. The town of Ystad is 30 minutes away by car. Ystad is known to beone of southern Sweden's most beautiful towns. This is the town where the Wallander- films and TV-series were shot! Ystad offers a lot of sights, such as he monastery, Munkaklostret, and the cathedral. Be sure to visit the museum and the theatre when you are there. And don't forget the old town, with it's picturesque little alley ways, shops and cafés. Welcome to Österlen!

In the middle of the hilly Göingemarkerna among small villages, beech forests and meadows, this larger cottage is located directly by the rushing rapids and the old mill. Here you live in the summer nestled in greenery directly above the rapids, only with the owner's corporate property (one-man company) as the nearest neighbor in undisturbed surroundings. The large cottage was a representation villa once upon a time but now constitutes a spacious accommodation for a larger family with 7 beds divided into 3 bedrooms, of which a charming children's room with 3 beds. There are generous areas with a lounge area, a large living room with sofa group and a lovely wood stove to snuggle in front and a large dining area with windows to the rapids. The newly renovated, well-planned kitchen also has a small dining area. From here you can go out into the large glazed bright terrace furnished with a sitting area where you can enjoy cool summer evenings. Down the balcony stairs you also reach the large wooden terrace next to the watercourse, furnished with outdoor furniture and barbecue where you can catch the morning sun or enjoy barbecue evenings. From the house you can basically see no neighbors and you are also not disturbed by the owner's fine mechanical work in the property next door. It is peaceful and quiet and is hidden from view. In front of the house is only forest and a large parking area. The bathroom contains a shower cubicle and WC. In Vittsjö's surroundings you enjoy outdoor life among lakes and forests. There are bathing places to explore in the surroundings. At Vittsjö camping there are canoes and rowing boats for rent, mini golf and fishing opportunities. Just under 10 kilometers to Vittsjö village there is a grocery store and a couple of restaurants as well as the popular Cafe Sjöstugan during the summer. About 4 km from the cottage is Wittsjö Golf Club with a summer restaurant. The hiking trail Skåneleden runs through Vittsjö. It passes through beautiful beech forest and in places along water. The Vieåleden and Ubbalt nature reserves are also available for those interested in the outdoors. At Hörlinge meadows there is a bird watching place. In the surroundings around the city of Hässleholm are beautiful Hovdala castle and Tykarpsgrottan. In Osby, Brio Toy Museum is a nice place to visit.

The cottage is located on a hilly plot with good parking facilities, along with several other small buildings that belong to the cottage such as guest cottage, storage, m.m. Via the glazed terrace you enter the cottage which is well planned with a bedroom with double bed, a good work kitchen, bathroom with washing machine and dryer. The living room has a small dining area, sofa, TV and a comfortable wood burning stove. In the guest house on the plot there is another simpler bedroom with two beds and an adjoining storage room. Outdoors there is a terrace with comfortable outdoor furniture and hammock. At the guest house's more secluded location, you can enjoy the sun in the sun loungers on the days when the sun is shining. In summer, there are lots of lush flower beds, shrubs and trees around the entire nature plot. The small family or a couple who want to enjoy one of Skåne's most wonderful, peaceful surroundings thrive here! The owner also lends out bicycles, 2 men and 2 women for their own discoveries of the surroundings. A couple of kilometers away there is a swimming area by Tjörnarpssjön where you can rent a boat and fish. For those who like to hike, the Skåneleden trail is nearby and several other beautiful walking areas are in the surroundings. Just over 15 kilometers away is Skånes Djurpark, popular with the whole family! To the north at the same distance you will find the beautiful Hovdala Castle with restaurant, café and beautiful castle park. Around the cottage you have a beautifully landscaped garden with lush corners, garden furniture and barbecue. The owner lives next door and has an art studio, but you still have peace and quiet through the secluded location. The kitchen is bright and fresh with everything you need, two hotplates, oven and microwave, fridge and small freezer and a seat for two, there is also a high chair. From the kitchen you can go straight out to the lovely garden to enjoy the floral splendor and the day's meals. From the kitchen, a staircase leads up to the attic where you have a TV corner and double bed. Please note that the stairs are steep, so it is not recommended if you have reduced mobility. Right next to the kitchen is the bright tiled bathroom with shower, sink and toilet. The nearest bathing lake is Gyllebosjön, about 4 km. If you would rather swim in the sea, it is approx. 5 km to the coast with its lovely sandy beaches. The nearest shop is in Kivik, about 8 km, if you arrive at the right time in the summer, you should of course visit Kivik's market. If you would rather go to Simrishamn, it is approx. 12 km there. Simrishamn and Österlen have a wide range of unique and wonderful experiences. Stroll by the harbor in one of the many small fishing villages along the coast or in the old town of Simrishamn. A visit to the medieval castle of Glimmingehus is also an exciting experience. Do you instead want to go further out on the beautiful lake Lursjön, there is also a boat to rent for relaxation and fishing. Through the entrance you are welcomed directly into the living room with a sofa group and a TV for cozy evenings. From the living room it is open to the kitchen area where there is room for six people around the dining table. Further into the house there are three bedrooms. Lursjön is one of Sweden's cleanest bathing lakes and rich in fish, mainly pike and perch, but also other species. Fishing license required. In the area there are also several nice hiking trails and bike paths. If you want to go to the municipal bathing place, this is on the other side of the lake, closer to Hästveda community. The ICA store in Hästveda has i.a. specializes in venison and has several exotic varieties. The nearest major town is Osby. Here is Brio Lekoseum. The summer in Skåne also attracts with several festivals, kayaking, diving, fishing, playing golf or just enjoying the tranquility and the beautiful nature. On the other side of Vombsjön is Övedskloster which has a nice restaurant, café and shop, Sjöbo and Lund are within a quarter of a distance by car.
