You have 1500 meters to swimming area in Lake Borghultesjön. Here is the rowing boat that belongs to the house. If you want to fish, it is also possible to buy it from the owner. At Kogarbadet there is an almost 40 km long canoe trail where there are canoe/kayak rentals and ready-made adventure packages to buy. Nyhult's “Goda Hantverk” with its summer cafe and pottery is close by and is well worth a visit. Here you can find pastries and bread beyond the usual. They also have a bread stand in Hallingeberg with a fantastic selection for self-service. Solliden with its restaurant and farm shop, offers products from its own farm where pigs, lambs and chickens are raised in their natural environment. In Gamleby 10 km away there are restaurants, shops, flea markets, bathing area Hammarsbadet and the mountain Garpedansberget with its well-visited troll park. Popular archipelago communities such as Valdemarsvik, Loftahammar and Västervik lie like a string of pearls. Don't miss the summer town of Västervik with its picturesque town centre, its restaurants, and many summertime events. There is also an adventure pool at Lysingsbadet. Popular Loftahammar with boaters, restaurants, cafes and cooling baths by beaches and cliffs. Tour boats depart for the archipelago from both Loftahammar and Västervik. The nearest restaurant where you can eat home-cooked food and breakfast is in Kårtorp by the motorway before the exit towards the house. If you want a larger selection, there is Valdemarsvik 12 km away with restaurants, grocery store, mini golf, etc. Don't miss going out to Gryts Skärgård, 18km from Valdemarsvik where Gryts Handelsträdgård is located. Welcome to a newly renovated turn-of-the-century house out of the ordinary, where you have your own plot of land and scenic surroundings in Bellö, Småland. Here you can really enjoy the peace and the view of the lake. In the large garden with roses and perennials there is a nice terrace with outdoor furniture, deckchairs and barbecue. Down by the lake you can enjoy a cooling bath or why not take a relaxing ride with the small rowing boat that is included (own life jackets are provided, electric motor can be rented on site). There is also outdoor furniture by the lake. You have a beautiful glazed veranda with a lovely view of the lake. The house's kitchen with a beautiful dining area is a feast for the eyes, here you can prepare fine meals. Dishwasher, combined oven/microwave, induction hob and wood stove are available. The living room has a comfortable sofa group and an armchair where you can enjoy in front of a fire in the tiled stove or in front of the large screen with Apple TV and Chromecast (no fixed channels). Wifi is available. Upstairs there are three bedrooms, one with a double bed of 180cm and a single bed of 80cm. The second bedroom with curtains also has a double bed and a single bed of 80 cm. The room above the stairs is another bedroom without doors with a pull-out bed that can be made into a double bed. There is also a simpler extra bed that you can place where you wish. Here you can experience all the best of Småland. Deep enchanted forests, shimmering lakes and streams, blooming meadows and open fields. Little red cottages, winding roads and beautiful stone walls. Just a couple of kilometers away you also have lake Åsnen, which is a completely unique lake archipelago with over 1000 small islands. In this small, cozy cottage, you have an excellent starting point for exploring the area, but if you want to stay at home, you have everything you need. The cottage consists of a cozy living room with a fireplace, a dining room with a lovely view of the garden and a small but modern kitchen. In the dining room there is the third bed which functions as a day bed/sofa at other times. There is a bedroom with a double bed. In the cabin there is also a travel cot, so you could get 3 people plus a small child who can sleep in the travel cot. There is also a new and fresh bathroom. Washing machine is in the basement under the house, there is also the freezer (freezer compartment is in the fridge in the kitchen) The hot tub may only be used if there is no burning or watering ban. You have a lovely lush garden which is fenced, which can be a big advantage if you are traveling with pets. In the garden there is also the newly built sauna, where you can bathe and look out over the forest. There will also be an outdoor shower and hot tub/outdoor bathtub for 2 people. Outside the garden, the plot is bordered on one side by a country road where there is some traffic. If you would rather swim in the lake, you have both lake Åsnen and Hyllen within a radius of about 3 kilometers. There are lots of nice walking paths in the area to walk on, or cozy little roads to cycle on and discover the surrounding area. There are three bikes included in the rental. The rent also includes final cleaning. Tingsryd is about 9 km away and here is Tingsryd Resort, which has a lot of activities for the whole family. Such as a cozy swimming area, indoor adventure pool, spa, horse riding, fishing school, boat rental, mini golf. Växjö is about 40 km away and here you will find more restaurants, cafes and shopping. Towels are included when booking bed linen.

Wonderful holiday home in beautiful Helgenäs, close to both the river and the bay. Here you get to experience genuine Swedish, old-fashioned holiday feelings at its best. The house has an older charm and beautiful style that must be experienced. Preparing meals in the older preserved kitchen and then sitting down together in the fine dining room is a joy. Also out in the large garden is a simpler outdoor kitchen with a sink with running water, a work surface and a charcoal grill and gas stove. Here there is a patio deck with outdoor furniture that connects the main house and the sleeping annex. In the garden there is also a trampoline and swing set for the children. In the main house, there are 4 bedrooms on the second floor, a large one with a double bed and a beautiful old-fashioned wood-burning stove that cannot be used. Two smaller bedrooms/cat lofts, each with a single bed. The fourth beautiful bedroom, which has access to one of the smaller bedrooms, has a nice view of the bay and can also serve as a family room with armchairs, a sofa bed and a tiled stove. In the beautifully furnished annex without electricity, you sleep undisturbed. Note that in colder seasons it can be chilly here as there is no heating. However, there are extra beds in the main house in the form of the sofa in the living room and the extra bed in the sofa bed upstairs if needed. In the western part of Småland, beautifully situated with forest and the lake around the knot, you will find this cozy little cottage. Here you have the opportunity for lovely walks in the surroundings, or a short trip on the small lake that is just below the cabin with the boat that is included in the rent. Bathing is recommended by the owners at Flatenbadet 10 km away or Hästhultssjön 2.1 km away. The cottage has a cozy living room with dining area and a small kitchen. There is also a sofa bed for 2 people. The cabin also has two small bedrooms with 1 single bed in each room. There is a fresh and nice bathroom with a shower. The cottage shares the plot with the owners, whose house is about 60 meters away. Here there is plenty to do for the adventurous, while the surrounding lakes and forests provide fantastic opportunities for peaceful relaxation. For those who appreciate hiking and want to see a little more than just the beautiful nature around the cabin, you can get to Store Mosse Nature Reserve about 7 km away. Here there are many nice hiking trails and fantastic nature to see. In the summer months, those traveling with children can take the opportunity to visit High Chaparral, which is only 10km away. It's a wild west experience for the whole family. All in a genuine Wild West environment with bison oxen, train robberies, steamers, gold panning, cowboys, shows and theater and much, much more. If you want to go on an adventure, you will find Isaberg Mountain Resort 20 km away, with bike paths, toboggan run, hiking trails and much more. There is something for all tastes and levels and is well worth a visit, or several! In the winter with snow, Isaberg also has a ski slope, but whatever the season, there are plenty of things to do here. For those interested in golf, there is also Isaberg's golf club. The golf club has 2 18 hole golf courses, as well as a 6 hole short hole course which is a Pay & Play course.

It is only 5km to sea bathing in Ekenäs and 8km to a wonderful, shallow white sand beach called Fulvik. Popular Villa Famiglia offers taste experiences in a Mediterranean environment. Värnanäs is a manor house with extensive park facilities. Here is Engelska Parken with its lush greenery, nice walking paths, ponds and bridges. The Värnanäs archipelago nature reserve is an area of sea east of Halltorp and is considered one of the most important places in Sweden for harbor seals. If you're lucky, you can see them. In Germundslycke there is a well-visited farm shop. For those interested in nature, there is also the Stufvenäseken, which is Småland's second largest oak with a circumference of 9.7m. You have 30 km to Kalmar with its large cultural, shopping and restaurant selection. Here you have the astonishing Kalmar Castle, which is well worth a visit. The children usually appreciate Skälby Gård with its animals and playgrounds. Also, don't miss driving over the bridge to the "island of the sun and winds" Öland, which is a must-visit. Here you also have Öland's Zoo with its animals, funfair and water park, which is popular for children.

Welcome to this absolutely incomparable location and a cabin in absolute top condition! The view that meets you once you turn down the small private road down to the cabin is breathtaking. Lake Hjälten spreads out in front of you, and a private jetty, hardened water line so you always have firm, clean ground under your feet when you step in or out of the water after a swim, a rowing boat at your disposal and neighbors at a comfortable distance - the here is an idyll just waiting to be discovered! You park the car and then take the finely cast concrete stairs up to the cabin and find a large wooden deck. Once there, you can just face the lake and soak up the peace. If you turn towards the cabin and step inside the door, you will find a hall where you can choose three different directions. If you take a right, you will come to a dining room where there is a round table and chairs, and if you continue forward, you will come to the living room. Here you have a lovely flood of light with large windows, all of which face the water. There is also a stove to light up on cold summer nights or perhaps in autumn. You will also find a large corner sofa and another dining group to settle down at, if you want to enjoy dinner here or why not set up a board game! The room is made for relaxed socializing. If you take the left instead, you will find a newly built bedroom with a bunk bed. Ceiling spotlights make the room bright and very inviting. You will also find two larger bedrooms which are also bright and nice, one with two single beds and the other with a double bed. From both of these rooms you have magnificent lake views. A newly renovated bathroom is also found in this part of the house. You can also enjoy a lake view from here. If you go straight into the hall inside the door, you will come to a fully equipped kitchen, also with a view of the lake. There is a large dining table and exit to another balcony on which there is also outdoor furniture. Hjältevad is just nearby with a restaurant and grocery store to make the stay easy, but it is perhaps the natural values around the cabin that make it truly a dream both in early spring, summer and autumn!
