This spacious holiday home, set in the small village of Odensvi, was renovated in 2017. The floors are new, wooden floors. On the bottom floor, you will find two entrances, one of which has a veranda. The large kitchen features the necessary kitchen appliances. In the living room, you'll find a sofa and a flat-screen TV. The bathroom was built in 2017 and features a WC, a washbasin, and a shower. There's also one bedroom on the bottom floor, it is equipped with two single beds. On the second floor, you'll find two bedrooms, one with a double bed, the other with two single beds . Both bedrooms have a lot of wardrobe- and storage space. The spacious garden is all of 2000 square metres and has a lovely lawn and many fruit trees. The lake is only 600 metres from the house and this is where the boat is docked. Why not go fishing for pike and bass? You can buy a fishing permit in town. There's a public bathing area about five kilometres away, in Odensvi. It has a sandy beach, bathing docks, a bathing ladder, and shallow water. The sea is 18 kilometres away, a 20-minute drive through the scenic landscape of Småland, with it's beautiful forests and open landscapes. You have good chances of spotting elk, deer, and fox. The forests are rife with berries and mushrooms and there are a number of pretty lakes in the area. The closest grocery store is in Odensvi, five kilometres from the house. The picturesque town of Västervik offers a shopping centre and many different events in the summertime. It's 46 kilometres away. Vimmerby is only 35 kilometres away. The children will really enjoy Astrid Lindgren's World. Katthult and Bullerbyn, well known from Astrid Lindgren's beloved children's books, are also close. Or why not take a daytrip to Mariannelund and find out how sweets were made in the olden days? The Kingdom of Crystal, Glasriket, is another interesting destination. The bedroom is equipped with two bunk beds and sleeps a total of four people. You enter the bathroom from the outside of the house, it is equipped with a WC and a washbasin. The shower is in the annex. The living room opens onto a terrace with outdoor furniture and a garden grill. The cottage is set on a natural garden plot and the owners live in the house next door. There's also a SPA 200 metres from the house. The cottage is within driving distance of a number of charming towns and tourist attractions, such as the island of Öland and the town of Kalmar. In the beautiful nature outside Sandhem you will find this beautiful old farm that can become your very own summer idyll. Rullstensåsar shapes the hilly landscape in the surroundings, which really invites one to go out and discover on foot. In a rural setting, with a private location is the renovated farm from the late 1800s. The rooms are large and airy with plenty of space for 7 people. The kitchen has been renovated in 2021 and is brand new, but the charm is well maintained and the kitchen will easily become the heart of the house during your stay. It is located directly adjacent to the patio so it will be convenient to enjoy your meals outdoors. Only about 400 meters away is the boat that is included in the rent, it is possible to swim at the mooring, but the owners recommend that you rather row and discover the lake and other bathing places. In the community Sandhem there is a large swimming area with bathing jetty, playground and barbecue area. The house has three bathrooms with shower and toilet, one of which has been renovated as late as 2021 and also washing machine. On the first floor you will find two of the bathrooms, kitchen, dining area and living room. As well as two large bedrooms with two beds in each a small bedroom with a single bed. On the second floor up the beautiful stairs you come to a large hall with sloping ceilings, with a number of rooms that are not included in the rental, but upstairs you can see bedroom no. 4 with two beds and a bathroom. There are plenty of paddling opportunities in the area such as. Ryfors Gammelskog. A nature reserve with a trail over 350 years old of 2 kilometers or the 5 kilometer long cultural walk on Gyljerydsmon, you will pass several important places in the town's early history. Mighty traces from the ice age in a very beautiful and varied landscape. Near the house flows Tidan and Lake Stråken. Every year, many thousands of fishermen fish in Stråken, which is almost 30 km long but at most 500 m wide. Here you will find both precious fish and ordinary freshwater fish as well as plenty of implanted crayfish. It is possible to rent a canoe at Kyrkekvarn's canoe center which is 7 km from the house. Paddling in Tidan is very beautiful and it is also possible to make longer excursions and sleep over at the prepared rest areas. It is possible to charge your electric car here.

Here you will find a cozy little cottage in a small cottage area with only 150 meters from Lake Nackebo. There is a common bathing area that the about 10 houses share. The cottage is divided into two houses. Where the main house has a room with sink, a kitchen, living room and two bedrooms. In one bedroom there is a 105cm bed and in the other room there is a 90cm bed that can be divided so that it becomes a 180cm bed. In the second cottage opposite there is a bathroom with a combustion toilet and shower as well as a bedroom with a double bed and a small kitchen corner that contains a refrigerator and coffee maker. There is an extra bed outside in this room with so that the cottage can accommodate up to 6 people. The owner recommends taking a trip around Nackebosjön, a walk that takes about 3 hours. On the other side of the lake there is also a bathing place with a sandy beach if you want to get to a different bathing place than the one below the house. If the house's cozy location with the fantastic little lake does not fully satisfy your desire to discover, Jönköping is only 25km away. There are a lot of restaurants, cafes and shopping for those who wish. In Jönköping there is also a large indoor pool, Rosenlundsbadet. At Ryfors, 22 km north of the cottage, there is a nice 18-hole golf course. Ryfors Golf Course is Sweden's oldest. In 1988, 100 years later, the course was reopened by Ryfors golf club and in 1996 it became a modern 18-hole golf course.

Large and spacious cottage for up to 9 people (+ a child in a cot) in lovely rural surroundings. Here you have a lot of space to hang out and beautiful rural nature around the corner. You have a large garden and a cozy covered patio to enjoy time outside. The house is divided on two levels. On the first floor you will find a large kitchen, and large living room with an extra dining area, bathroom, laundry room and one of the bedrooms. Note that this bedroom has draperies as doors. Upstairs you will find here in addition to 3 bedrooms another bathroom and a large spacious living / TV room. The large family or families traveling together will have plenty of space to live and socialize here. There are plenty of hiking opportunities nearby, for example on the large Vakö bog is one of the largest calm moors in southern Sweden. The open area is a full six square kilometers large and completely unique this far south. IKEA in Älmhult is only 25 km away and there is also an IKEA museum. Feel free to visit Råshult, which is Carl von Linne's birthplace. In Möckelsnäs Herrgård you can eat good food. At Torne you can rent a canoe and paddle in Lake Åsnen. High Chaparall, Astrid Lindgren's world, Brio museum in Osby or Moose safari in Markaryd can be great day trips. It may be possible to book cleaning as an additional service. Please ask the owner about this when you contact them regarding the key before arrival.

Here you have everything you need in a cozy private location but at the same time close to much of the area. The cottage consists of kitchen and living room, bathroom and a bedroom located on the 1st floor. The nice living room has been renovated by the owners as late as 2021 and the kitchen will be updated, the plan is for the 2022 season, stay tuned for new photos! There is a cot in the bedroom which can be used if desired. In addition, there is a single bed on the second floor. So the house has 3 beds plus cot. Great for the small family. Not far from Ryd is Åsnen National Park which with its beautiful lake landscape which is an excellent excursion destination. At Getnö farm you can paddle on Åsnen and also visit all the hiking trails in the area. For those who want to make a day trip, there is much to discover in the area. You can visit the Småland Glass Kingdom with many glassworks and artists with open studios. For those interested in fishing, there are great fishing opportunities in several different lakes within a 6 km radius from the house. Not far from the house is also Skvaltkvarnen in Siggamåla. Gourmet mills are simple flour mills. The mill from 1822 and was moved in 1875 to Siggamåla where it was in operation until 1918. Even today the mill is in working order and is in use during the summer and then you can buy freshly ground rye flour here. Air conditioning can be ordered and you pay directly to the owner.
