Bärstaviken is a favorite place with the possibility of swimming from the jetty or rocky outcrop. Outside the house, the cows graze and you are welcomed to a beautiful place and nice nature. This accommodation is a dream for the family who wants to swim, go fishing in Lake Vänern and who wants to enjoy all the excursion destinations on beautiful Kållandsö. The surrounding area offers magnificent Hinden's reefs or the magnificent Läckö castle and nature reserve next door. The house is a Swedish idyll. Red house with white knots surrounded by trees and a nice gate of wood that welcomes you. The house is brightly furnished, homely, with country charm. On the first floor there is a bright smaller hall with plenty of space for outerwear and shoes. Straight ahead you come to the kitchen area with dining area for 6 people. There is a door out to the patio in the sun. Directly to the right is one bedroom of the house with a bunk bed. To the left is the living room with TV, sofa and stove. The bathroom is equipped with a toilet, sink and shower cabin. Please note that the stairs to the upper floor are steep. Here you have to watch out for the slanted ceilings on the staircase with a maximum height of 160 cm in the doorway itself. On the upper floor there is plenty of space and the house is larger than you think. First you come to a living room with two daybeds. To the right is the house's larger bedroom with a double bed and a crib. Straight ahead is a cozy bedroom with two single beds. The house offers plenty of space and is suitable for the family / company of 6 people. The bathing area is easily reached by car. Follow signs for Bärstaviken until the end of the road. Please note that there is no wi-fi in the house. The best coverage with a mobile phone is outdoors or on the second floor of the house. Not far away there is Läcköslott which has lots of nice things to offer. Explore the castle for both young and old. Here you will be very happy with the whole family. Welcome to rural idyll just outside Lidköping, which is also called the city of white gold from the old porcelain factories. Lidköping is also located along beautiful Lake Vänern, which offers nice bathing spots, sandy beaches and beautiful nature. The house has been a restaurant but was renovated in 2019 into the fine residence it is today. The house shares land with the owners who live in the house in front, but you have a separate entrance and your own balcony with a view of the fence and fields. There are two entrances to the house, the small kitchen entrance or the large one located inside the nice green gates. You are welcomed into a small hall which then opens up into a large welcoming family room with kitchen integrated into one. The kitchen is magnificent where you can see that it used to be a restaurant with a substantial pizza oven, stove and dishwasher. The glasses hang pleasantly from the ceiling above the bar table/kitchen table where people like to gather during dinner for conversation. To the left is a small alcove with a day bed. The house has a total of 8 beds and two bathrooms. To the right are two smaller bedrooms. One with a bunk bed 80 cm wide and the other with a day bed that is 2x80 in size laid out. Inside the kitchen area there is a bathroom with bath/shower and washing machine. Next to a cleaning scrubber with a toilet inside. Behind the kitchen at the kitchen entrance is another nice bedroom with a single bed 80 cm. Straight ahead in the hall, a large room opens up on the side with fine wooden doors with glass and armchairs to sit in. Here there is a larger bathroom with shower, sink and toilet. All white and fully tiled. You are then welcomed into a homely living room with a small dining table and comfortable sofa. Personal and warm interior design that makes it almost feel like home. Next to this is the house's fourth bedroom with a double bed 180 cm wide and with a patio door to the beautiful nature. The owner is an artist and has a workshop next door and sometimes shows if you're lucky. The garden outside invites you to play with a trampoline and lawn. Have a cup at the front and enjoy the calm and look out. A day trip to Läcköslott, which may be Sweden's most beautiful castle with a unique garden, and a trip to Hinden's Reef is a must. Bathing places in Lake Vänern in Framnäsbadet or Svalnäsbadet, which is also called Vänern's Riviera. A visit to Rörstrand, where people hand-painted and created porcelain known around the world. Good to know: Bed linen and final cleaning must be pre-booked at least 14 days before arrival. If this is not pre-booked in time, we cannot guarantee that you can add it afterwards, in which case you may bring bed linen and clean the cottage yourself before departure.
