This is a cosy holiday home set on a beach plot by the beautiful lake Saljen. The cottage has a spacious terrace with a panoramic view of the lake, the garden, and the forest. The cottage features a light and airy kitchen with a cooker, a microwave oven, a fridge, and a freezer. In the living room you will find a sofa bed for two, a sofa suite, and a TV. The bedroom features two single beds. The bathroom features a WC, a washbasin, and a shower. The cottage also contains a sauna that fits two people. The plot is shared with the owner. Right by the cottage you will find a lovely little bay suitable for swimming. There's a little sandy beach there, and a dock where your boat awaits you. Saljen is excellent for fishing, with plenty of bass, pike, and pike-perch. There is a rowing boat that is included as well as an electric motor that can be rented from the owner. Please note that you are not allowed to bring your own boat or motor to the lake. The area of Skirö is famous for it's flora, it's beautiful forests, and it's lakes. Why not try panning for gold in Ädelfors, eight kilometres away. Vimmerby with Astrid Lindgren's World is 58 kilometres away and is a destination both children and adults will enjoy. The mine of Kleva is 18 kilometres from the cottage.In the wintertime you can visit the ski runs in Kettilsås, 15 kilometres away. Another wonderful place within driving distance is The Kingdom of Crystal in Kosta, 55 kilometres. This is where the famous Kosta Boda glassware is made. Welcome to a lovely holiday destination!

Welcome to a wonderful place and to a very pleasant, spacious house where you can enjoy the peace and freedom of the countryside. The house is located on a lovely plot with the forest next door, fields in front and a large lawn that invites you to play and lovely social areas. The house is located in the heart of Småland with several nice lakes and swimming spots nearby. You are welcomed by a large sunny terrace with outdoor furniture and barbecue. The entrance is via the kitchen entrance at the back of the house. Immediately, the charming country kitchen opens up with seating. The kitchen has new appliances from 2023 and has most of what you might need for a pleasant holiday. Adjacent is the dining room in an open plan layout with plenty of seating in a light interior and also an exit to the larger door with the balcony. Via the dining area you reach the house's master bedroom with double doors and a comfortable double bed 180 cm wide. Next to it is another bedroom with a double bed. Opposite is a smaller bedroom with a 90 cm bed. Between these is the house's one bathroom with wc/shower. The stairs up are an older, larger staircase via the kitchen. Here you come to the house's living room with a TV corner and a comfortable sofa group. The house's third large bedroom is up here with another double bed of 180 cm and large wardrobe. Up here in the house there is another bathroom with a bathtub where you stand in for a shower, two sinks and everything is just like in the rest of the house, spacious and very pleasant and warm interior. If you want to swim, it is walking distance to the lake Lilla Nömmen in about 10-15 minutes. If you want a larger swimming area, you go to Tjurken where there are piers and a sandy beach. The forest around the cabin is filled with walking paths, berry areas and roaming areas in a historic environment. Here you can sit on the balcony in the morning and in the evening and enjoy the sun and see both deer and moose roaming by. Take a day trip to Astrid Lindgren's world, eat well at the Sandsjöfors inn or just enjoy the tranquility of the countryside. Here you will feel great in the heart of Småland..

In Skirö, known as Småland's garden due to the beautiful nature, the hilly landscape and the many lakes, lies this small cozy cottage. On a larger farm plot, about 500 meters from the beautiful lake Innersjön you will find the cottage of 35m2 with room for up to 4 people (with two sleeping in a sofa bed in the living room) The cottage is small and simple but has everything you need. A bedroom, combined living and dining room, a small kitchen and a spacious bathroom. Here you have an excellent location to explore this beautiful part of Småland. Down by the inner lake, about 800 meters away from the cottage, there is a rowing boat that is included in the rent which you use to advantage to discover and enjoy the beautiful lake nearby. At about 200m distance from the cottage there are hiking trails for those who like to discover on foot. In about an hour's drive you reach places like Vimmerby, Nässjö and Växjö which are excellent excursion destinations with a lot to discover. Such as Astrid Lindgrensvärd in Vimmerby, or the cycling trails Astrid Lindgrenleden where you can discover the places where the films were shot. In Växjö, there are plenty of restaurants, cafés and shopping, including a restaurant with a Michelin star. The area offers a lot for all tastes simply.
