Visit Slättö sand nature reserve (10 km) or the famous Store Mosse national park (28 km). Spend a fast-paced day in the popular western town of High Chaparral (13 km) or an excursion to Isaberg (40 km) which offers, among other things, tobogganing and a high-altitude track.

Horses graze beautifully in the paddocks around the house and if you follow the extensive grounds through the paddock, a magnificent view of Emån opens up with the forest beautifully in the foreground. In southern Småland you will find this incredibly charming cottage. Built in the 1820s and renovated by the owners to retain its contemporary feel, you have here a spacious and cozy accommodation for the large family or perhaps 2 families traveling together. The cottage is on the same plot as the owners' own summer cottage and shares the plot with them. The small lake that is nearby is also shared between the two cottages. Experience Småland in lovely rural surroundings but still be close to a lot because in only about 10 km you will get on the E4 and can go both north and south on excursions. The cabin consists of a cozy kitchen, large bathroom and a spacious living room. There are 2 bedrooms on the first floor, one with a double bed adjacent to the living room, and one with a single bed. On the second floor, which has a sloping ceiling, there is a bedroom with a double bed, as well as a room with a bed that can be pulled out to double if desired and a sofa bed. This room is not as well insulated as the others and is mainly recommended during the summer months. Which means that a total of 9 people can live here, however, upon request, a sleeping place for an additional child can be arranged. There is a wood-burning sauna by the small lake that can be rented for SEK 1,000 a week, which includes a fixed amount of wood. There is also a wood-burning hot tub that can be rented for a week on request. If you want to swim somewhere other than the small lake, which is only about 40 m away, you have swimming spots 8-10 km away both at Strömsnäsbruk and Markaryd. The house is very fresh and modern. It was built in 1976 and has been completely renovated in 2019. The rooms are freshly painted and the flooring throughout the house is new. The cottage has an open floor plan. When you enter the house, you are welcomed by a well-equipped, fresh kitchen with a dining area for four together. Here, together with your morning coffee, you can plan the day's activity or why not enjoy cozy barbecue evenings in peace and quiet. It is not far to Östhammar where there are several grocery stores and restaurants. In the harbor there is both an outdoor gym, a playground and a cafe and the opportunity to walk along the water. Öregrund is about 2 miles north of Östhammar and is worth a visit. Forsmark mill with the English park and mill museum are also worth visiting.

This charming villa can be found at the edge of Lake Läen in the community of Lessebo. With lovely views of the lake and with the bathing area below, it is made for bath-hungry guests. There is a large bathing jetty in the summer and playground. You can enjoy the view of the lake from your own garden or over the morning cup of coffee from the small dining area in the kitchen. You have an excellent starting point from here if you want to explore the area with places like Växjö, Åsnen National Park or the Kingdom of Crystal nearby. In the community of Lessebo about 1500m away there are grocery stores and some restaurants. The house consists of two floors but it is only the first floor that is rented out. (floor 2 is private) You have two large bedrooms, one with a double bed and a bunk bed in, one and a double bed in the other. A large living room with dining area leading out onto the terrace, a spacious and fresh bathroom, and a bright and lovely kitchen overlooking the lake. Here 6 people can fit comfortably and if you want to bring another smaller child, there is a crib in the basement that you can borrow. There is a rubber boat included if you want to explore the lake. For those interested in culture, a visit to the beautiful quarters by the cathedral and Linköping Castle & Cathedral Museum is worth a visit. Gamla Linköping, which is one of Östergötland's largest visitor destinations, wherehistory comes alive and you can experience the city, country and forest that a hundred years ago also visited their cozy shops and cafes.
