There are also two larger sofas and armchairs in the living room that can accommodate the whole party. The open plan between the kitchen and the living room makes it easy to be together as much as you wish. There is a dining area for everyone and here you can eat good breakfasts and dinners. You have a toilet with wc, shower and wash basin. Unfortunately, the sauna cannot be used at the moment. Once outdoors, there are no direct restrictions. Here you have seating groups and large areas to play and move around. You have nature around you and can just relax to the beautiful chirping of birds. Barely 2 kilometers away you have Sövdesjön, where it is possible to swim and buy an ice cream in the small kiosk. An incredibly beautiful lake with jetty and small sandy beach! If you want to go on excursions throughout Österlen, this place is very well located. You have a beach and outdoor swimming down at Nybrostrand just a short drive away. You have Ystad, Simrishamn, Tomelilla if you want to shop, eat well or just walk around. You have a very popular Café down here "Olof Viktors" which is highly recommended. Here at Sunnanå harbor just outside Mellerud you will find a real holiday idyll. This nice boathouse is only a stone's throw from beautiful Lake Vänern. Here you can enjoy the fantastic view of the marina and the old stone magazine. For those of you who want to experience "a Sweden in miniature", you get to experience part of Dalsland's magnificent nature with rushing forests and sparkling water. Here are nice hiking trails and kayaking opportunities. Sunnanå nature reserve is very close by Sjöboden is located in a scenic area where it is close to swimming and golf, Melleruds Golfbana is only 1km away. In the area there is a playground, several barbecue areas as you are not allowed to grill at the boathouse due to the risk of fire, café and restaurant. Here you probably have Lake Vänern's best trolling fishing, loading ramp is in the area. You are welcomed into the boathouse in a living room as where there is a sofa bed for two people, kitchen table and a kitchenette with fridge / freezer, kitchen table. Bathroom with shower and toilet is on the ground floor. Upstairs there is a bedroom with two single beds, here you have a small window facing the best view. In front of the boathouse there is a cozy porch where you can enjoy your meals or maybe just be and enjoy the evening sun and the nice view. Behind the boathouse there is a small porch where you can meet the day with the morning sun. There is a space at the back of the boathouse where you can lock in belongings such as a canoe or other. It is also at the back of the boathouse you park, there is free parking and the boathouse has a special parking space Sjöboden is winter-sheltered, which makes it possible to live there all year round and perfect for those who want to go out and fish for salmon or take part in other events! When you rent the boathouse, you have access to the service house which has toilets, showers and washing machines. Things to do: Vita Sandars camping is almost a must here, you have a nice shallow sandy beach that is out of the ordinary, at the campsite there is also a restaurant, mini golf, tennis, volleyball, playground etc. Take the walking path through the forest from Sunnanå about 2 kilometers walk, by car it is a few kilometers further. The nearest town about 3km is Mellerud where there is a complete range of shops and restaurants. Dalsland's most popular tourist attraction, the aqueduct in Håverud, you will find 18 km from the boathouse, where there is a unique meeting between land, rail and water. In the opposite direction from your accommodation and walking distance beyond Old Linköping, is the city district Valla farm and valla forest. You are welcomed to a nice and bright cottage with a flexible floor plan and a large, lovely, glazed terrace. At the entrance you have a large porch without a roof where you can relax in the sun. You are welcomed into a small hall, bedroom with double bed you have to your right side, bathroom straight ahead, to the left of the hall is the kitchen, which is shared with the living room. Inside the living room is the cottage's second bedroom with double bed. By the large, glazed terrace there is room for a wonderful meal, breakfasts, barbecue food or other small and good things you might want during your holiday. The whole area, which is a new construction project, is nice and fresh, it is admirably beautiful when you only have Lake Vänern at your disposal at a distance of about 150 meters. Things to do nearby: In addition to swimming and fishing and relaxing on site, there is much you can do, an example is hiking on Värmlandsnäs. At the far end of Värmlandsnäs you will find Ekenäs, from there the walking trails Ladholmens- and Åkerhusleden start. Here you get a fantastic view of Lake Vänern. Ladhusleden starts from the guest harbor and is partly handicapped accessible. For those of you who are interested in culture, we suggest a visit to “von Echstedska garden” - art museum. There you can have a coffee, walk around the herb garden, and experience the house in all its glory, a visit to the culture house Silvenska which is a beautiful culture house filled with activities such as art exhibitions and handicraft sales. With a very rural and peaceful location in Arboga municipality is this 19th century croft that has been renovated to today's modern standard but with retained charm. A courtyard with large lawns that look down on open meadows away towards the forest edge. The croft has a lovely patio in the best sun position where barbecue evenings can be interspersed with ball games and games. Inside the croft you have a spacious kitchen with the old iron stove preserved while you have the modern kitchen with everything needed. This traditional forest cottage has both a modern fully equipped kitchen and a newly renovated bathroom with rustic wooden floors throughout. The open floor plan creates a pleasant overview from the kitchen over both the dining area and a smaller living room with sofa and wood stove. Welcome to a cozy cottage with a rural location in beautiful Hammarö in Värmland county! The cabin is located at the end of a narrow gravel road, a "hideaway" with a completely secluded location between meadows and forest. You are struck by the silence and calm as soon as you step out of the car; no neighbors, no cars, no visibility, nothing to disturb the idyll. Step into a bright hall with a large window on the left with a view of the meadows and an inner window on the right towards the kitchen.
