With a lovely lake view overlooking Vänern and private beach you will stay in a pleasant red holiday home with white trims, located northwest of the charming town of Mariestad. The holiday home was extend and renovated during 2010. You will be greeted by a patio with double doors, later a small hallway which will take you the large living room with a pleasant dining area. The dining area has a lovely space with natural light and is open all the way up to the roof ridge. The living room got a beautiful view over the lake and a warming open fireplace with a comfy sitting group in front of the TV. From the dining area you can access the patio where can enjoy the view and your holiday with an exciting book or a good meal. The holiday home is equipped with a modern kitchen, a spacious fully tiled bathroom with shower, WC, laundry machine, dryer and a whirlpool tub big enough for two. A spiral staircase will take you down to the two bedrooms, where one bedroom has one double bed and a single bed. Here next to Lake Vänerns there are possibilities to go and swim and sunbathe, on several beaches including the private one just 25m away from the holiday home. In the lake town of Mariestad (7km) there are several beautiful streets with cobblestones and well preserved house from the 1600s. Göta Canal, the biggest canal in Sweden starts in Sjötorp located some km north of the town. Where you can rent a bike and take a biking tip next to the beautiful canal. The river Tidan goes through the municipality and ends in the centre of the town. On the country side around the town there are several culture treasures worth a visit, in the centre of the city is Old Town located, one of the best preserved city centers in the whole country. There is 50km to Skaras water park with has a variety of attractions and is always appreciated by the children. For those who likes golf is the golf course of Marestad just a few kilometers away from you holiday home.

If you want to go out on the lake instead, you can do this with the canoe or rowing boat that is included in the rent. So take the opportunity to take advantage of the great location. This holiday home is located about two kilometers northwest of Bengtfors on a peninsula, right by Lelång. Bengtfors is located between the two lakes Lelång and Bengtsbrohüljen. The lakes are connected there by a lock and are part of the Dalsland Canal. In Bengtsfors you can visit the largest open-air museum in western Sweden, namely Gammelgården. Directly next door is Halmens Hus, the former center and today's museum for straw weaving. Sweden's countryside offers a variety of options for spending your holiday. This lovely holiday home is set in Sandvik, outside of Ronneby. It is set on an elevated plot and offers a panoramic view of the sea, which you can admire from the large terrace. The beach is only a few minutes away and there are fishing opportunities. The house features two bedrooms, one with a comfortable double bed, the other with two single beds. The kitchen and living room are open plan. In the living room you will find a TV with satellite channels. The kitchen features a fridge and freezer, a cooker hood, a microwave oven, a coffee maker, and a dishwasher. On the headland between Ivösjön and Oppmannasjön, a monastery was built and parts of the old monastery church and the monks' kitchens are preserved in today's buildings. Karsholm Castle is also located by Oppmansjön. It is about 15 km to Kristiansstad. Here you should take a look at the well-preserved, historic city center. Also worth seeing is the Church of the Holy Trinity, the Holy Trinity Church. The three boulevards, which have given the city the nickname "Little Paris", are fantastic to stroll around. There are plenty of restaurants, good shopping and museums. Tivoli Park offers relaxation with the Art Nouveau Theater and Cafet in Fornstugan. For nature lovers, we recommend a trip to the biosphere reserve Vattenrike. Here you can go on a bird safari by boat, bike or on foot. The best time to visit Vattenrike is early summer and summer, when more than 130 bird species nest here. You can get to Åhus and the coast in less than an hour by car. This charming, child-friendly holiday home is situated 12 kilometres from Stenungsund, in scenic surroundings. This charming holiday home is situated in central Falkenberg. Falkenberg is a popular summer holiday town with plenty of activities and entertainment. The cottage features a small kitchen with electric hot plates, and a living room with two beds and a TV. The bathroom contains a shower and a WC. Garden shared with the owner. This is the perfect place for enjoying nature and the recreation it brings! Falkenberg offers plenty of beautiful walking paths and excellent fishing opportunities. There are also tennis- and riding possibilities. The popular beach Skrea strand is just a few minutes away by car, you can also get there by bus or walk there. There are plenty of other lovely bathing spots within a few kilometres. Stroll through the Old Town and admire the picturesque view, stop for a coffee in one of Falkenberg's excellent cafés, such as Ståhlboms. Take a walk along the River Ätran and admire the stunning view. Falkenberg offers shops, restaurants, bars, music events and and an outdoor theatre specialising in Swedish slapstick comedy known as “buskis”. The famous shopping town Ullared, known for it's great discounts, is only 35 kilometres (a 30-minute drive) away.

Welcome to the heart of Småland, to the area where the films about Emil in Lönnerberga was recorded. The house is large and spacious and built at the beginning of the 18th century. It was renovated in the early 2000s, but you have tried to keep the original style. There is a large, spacious kitchen here. Living room with two bunk beds, alternatively sofa beds. There are other great attractions within driving distance. Kolmårdens nature reserve and zoo is about 1 hour and 45 minutes away by car. Vimmerby is also about 1 hour and 45 minutes away. The children will really enjoy Astrid Lindgren's World which is located in Vimmerby. Katthult and Bullerbyn, well known from Astrid Lindgren's beloved children's books, are also close. The boat that is included in the rent is docked by one of the lakes. Set only 10 metres from the lake, with a spacious terrace facing it, this house offers a marvellous view. The cottage features a partly covered terrace with a large grill for lovely barbecues in the outdoors.
