The forests around the cottage are full of berries and mushrooms if you like to go out into nature. Only eight kilometers from the cottage is Tingsryd and here are several shops and the famous department store Börjes. There is also an adventure pool / indoor pool, mini golf, paddle, tennis and more. For those of you who like to be in nature, it is close to Åsnen National Park where you can cycle and hike among lots of sights. Less than an hour's drive away, you are down by the sea and can visit Karlskrona, Ronneby and Karlshamn, among other places, which are really nice summer gems. If you want to go to a bigger city, it is only 60km to Växjö. Bathing can be done in several places around the cottage. The closest is to swim from a jetty about five km from the cottage, but if you want a really good bathing place with beach, kiosk, etc., Mårdslycke in Tingsryd or Nabbens camping outside Linneryd is recommended.
