You enter the cottage via a cozy glass veranda which is furnished with a small dining table and chairs, a perfect place for morning coffee. There are two bedrooms in the house, one of which has a bed that converts into a double bed and the other room has a double bed. The kitchen is well equipped and you have a dining area in the living room, where there is also a cozy sofa group and a fireplace that can increase the cozy factor of an evening. A large terrace where you have a cozy lounge corner and a large dining table that can accommodate many people. There are several bathing spots around Kalkudden Mariefred with small sandy beaches and piers. Inside Mariefred, you have 8 minutes by car, there are cozy neighborhoods, small shops and restaurants and take the opportunity to visit Gripsholm Castle if you have time.

Large terraces, perfect for cosy summer days, make this a place where the whole family will feel at home. There are two houses on the property: a larger main house and a smaller adjoining annex. This setup is ideal for two families who want to holiday together while staying in separate houses. The main house offers spacious areas for socialising, as well as a laundry room with a washing machine. Please note that the water comes from a private well and may appear slightly cloudy, but it is safe to drink. The main house has two bedrooms – one with a double bed and one with two single beds – as well as a bathroom with a toilet and shower. The smaller house features a large bedroom with a double bed and a smaller room with a 90 cm bed. There is also a 105 cm bed in the small living room. The annex includes a kitchen and a toilet, but no shower. Showers are available in the main house or in the sauna house, as well as an outdoor shower by the pool. Please be mindful of water usage. The Stockholm archipelago is sensitive during the summer and may occasionally experience water shortages. The pool is 130 cm deep and has a cover that can easily be pulled over to protect it from leaves and other natural debris. On the large pool deck there are sun loungers and dining tables in two areas, providing plenty of space both outdoors and indoors. The pool area is private and borders the forest, which begins at the edge of the property and is perfect for pleasant walks. Torö is home to one of Sweden’s best surf beaches at the Ören Nature Reserve. The area also offers unique flora, mushrooms, and a long pebble beach, as well as excellent opportunities for hiking. On the island you will find a local grocery store, cafés, and a sourdough bakery. If you wish to visit a larger town, Nynäshamn is nearby – a charming summer town with restaurants along the harbour. Here you live in two cottages where the old cottages from the early 1900s have been renovated taking into account the house's origins. Torpstugan consists of two rooms a small hall. A chamber with two single beds, a stove that you can fire in a chilly evening and also an extra bed for a child. In the second room, which is the original kitchen where the old iron fireplace remains, there is a seating area. In the second cottage next door you have a kitchen with dining area and a fresh tiled bathroom. This cottage is built in recent years but in the old style and fits well into the courtyard image. Between the cottages there is a lovely patio with barbecue. Down by the lake there is a jetty with a bathing ladder and it is an excellent swimming lake, if you want to go out on the lake you have access to a rowing boat. The house does not rent to companies. In Sörmland there are countless castles and manor houses where many offer guided tours. If you want to hike along a trail or just go out into the forest, the choices are many. If you travel with children, Eskilstuna Zoo can be attractive, where you have about 30 minutes to travel. If you want to go to Stockholm, it takes about 1.5 hours. Welcome!

If Kolmårdens Djurpark is part of your holiday plans or just relax in nature, then this little cottage could be something for you. The cabin, which is of a simpler standard, is part of a smaller collection of cabins managed and owned by an IOGT association since 1947. Among other things, a midsummer celebration is organized in the area, which is usually very much appreciated by all visitors. There are both swings and a small slide in the area for the youngest. The cottage is on two levels where the lower level has a spacious kitchen with fridge and small freezer, a good dining area and also a high chair for the youngest. In the living room there is a sofa group and another dining area. Upstairs there is a bedroom with a double bed and a cot and a room, which is a walk-through room, with three separate beds. The bathroom is not in the house but is in a separate building next door, there is also a disabled toilet with a changing table. The bathroom is not private but can be used by any visitor from the association. In front of the cottage, which is partially fenced with some bushes, there is a lovely patio with garden furniture in the best sun position, but the coziest place is down by the small lake where there is a large common jetty with tables and chairs and a bathing ladder for those who want to take a dip. The rowing boats are also located here and in the storage room on the jetty there are life jackets to borrow for those who rent the cabin. There are plenty of fish in the small lake for those interested in fishing. In the Kolmårdsskogarna there are many wonderful hiking trails and paths. The Sörmlandsleden has a stage that starts in Stavsjö and there are moderate to difficult hikes in the area, which also has plenty of small forest lakes, so it might be a good idea to pack swimming trunks in your backpack. It only takes 29 minutes, about 8km, to drive to Kolmården Zoo and once there you have a lot to explore around Bråviken. The IOGT association works actively for a sober existence and appreciates that guests in the cabin respect that.

High up on the mountain, this small cozy house sits, very secluded with glimmers of sea between the trees. Down across the road is your own jetty, cozy to take a morning dip or bring your picnic basket and end the day at sunset. The house is simple but has what you need for a quiet and cozy holiday close to nature. The large house has a bedroom with family bunk bed and a sofa bed for two in the living room. Shower and sauna are in the basement. The small annex has two single beds. Both houses have kitchens, but the annex does not have water withdrawn. Toilet is in the main house. It is a large plot, you go up over the mountain behind the house and a bit through the forest, there is a lake to swim in, Ällmora swamp, if you prefer. In Tyresö, Brevik, there are many nice walking paths and rocks to sunbathe and swim from. If you want a child-friendly beach, Ällmorabadet is about 250 m from the house. If you want to take a trip to Stockholm, there is a bus 400 m from the house.

There are many islands and small coves in Båven that invite you to a quiet paddle trip with canoes, it is available for rent in nearby Skebokvarn. If you choose to have your dinner in Sjöstugan, the lake view is unbeatable, there is a simpler bar kitchen with sea water and a mini fridge if you want to keep your drinks cool. Bathrooms are only available in Ateljén, but for the adventurous people there is a beautiful outdoor toilet outside Sjöstugan. It is about 75 meters between the cottages, there is a hilly walkway that leads down from Ateljén to Sjöstugan. Later in the evening, you can light the grill and prepare dinner, which is best enjoyed outdoors in the evening sun. Welcome to the lovely Ornö, an island in Stockholm's southern archipelago. Here you get far out in the sea belt, where there are plenty of seabirds, beautiful nature and if you are lucky you can see sea eagles and a seal or two. Here you take a car ferry from Dalarö, or Vaxholms boat from Stockholm. You live in a cozy house with nice furniture, a newly renovated kitchen, a double room, a bedroom with bunk beds and a bathroom with vacuum toilet, shower and washing machine. The plot is a lovely flowering garden and a lawn, the cottage owner is good at flowers. Opposite the house is the spacious guest house with two beds, a small kitchen and in the guest house there is also a sauna and shower. The plot faces a meadow where you can see both deer and moose at dusk. About 700 m from the house there is a nice shallow bathing area with jetty, a little here and there there are also rocks to swim from.
