If Kolmårdens Djurpark is part of your holiday plans or just relax in nature, then this little cottage could be something for you. The cabin, which is of a simpler standard, is part of a smaller collection of cabins managed and owned by an IOGT association since 1947. Among other things, a midsummer celebration is organized in the area, which is usually very much appreciated by all visitors. There are both swings and a small slide in the area for the youngest. The cottage is on two levels where the lower level has a spacious kitchen with fridge and small freezer, a good dining area and also a high chair for the youngest. In the living room there is a sofa group and another dining area. Upstairs there is a bedroom with a double bed and a cot and a room, which is a walk-through room, with three separate beds. The bathroom is not in the house but is in a separate building next door, there is also a disabled toilet with a changing table. The bathroom is not private but can be used by any visitor from the association. In front of the cottage, which is partially fenced with some bushes, there is a lovely patio with garden furniture in the best sun position, but the coziest place is down by the small lake where there is a large common jetty with tables and chairs and a bathing ladder for those who want to take a dip. The rowing boats are also located here and in the storage room on the jetty there are life jackets to borrow for those who rent the cabin. There are plenty of fish in the small lake for those interested in fishing. In the Kolmårdsskogarna there are many wonderful hiking trails and paths. The Sörmlandsleden has a stage that starts in Stavsjö and there are moderate to difficult hikes in the area, which also has plenty of small forest lakes, so it might be a good idea to pack swimming trunks in your backpack. It only takes 29 minutes, about 8km, to drive to Kolmården Zoo and once there you have a lot to explore around Bråviken. The IOGT association works actively for a sober existence and appreciates that guests in the cabin respect that.

In Svinsjön's Holiday Home area in the nature reserve Marvikarna is this cottage. Here you have hiking trails and several lakes and streams around the cottage corner. The cottage has plenty of space for a party of six people (4 adults, 2 children as the bunkbed is shorter than usual), with two separate bedrooms and a guest cottage with a double bed. A living room with a large and cozy sofa where you can relax in front of the TV. The bathroom is equipped with shower/ wc and also a washing machine. At the front of the cottage in the best sun position there is a large terrace with space for both dining table and sun loungers. You have around 4,000 meters down to Marviken. No motorized boats are allowed on the lakes within the nature reserve, which makes the lake area very idyllic and peaceful. The famous canoe trail between Lake Mälaren and Vagnhärad passes through the reserves and canoes can be rented in, for example, Åkers Styckebruk. Fishing is allowed, but fishing licenses are required. The area actually consists of two nature reserves, Krampan and Marvikarna. For visitors interested in birds, geology, ancient monuments and flora, there is plenty to see. Hiking-friendly forest roads and paths are located adjacent to both Svinsjön and Körnstorp holiday home areas. You can connect to Sörmanlandsleden where one of the stages passes between Marviken on the way to Skottvångs mine. To Mariefred it is about 13 km and there is everything for the shopping enthusiast and is a perfect excursion destination with its beautiful old wooden buildings, Mariefred is classified as one of the country's best preserved wooden cities.

Shower and sauna are in the basement. The small annex has two single beds. Both houses have kitchens, but the annex does not have water withdrawn. Toilet is in the main house. It is a large plot, you go up over the mountain behind the house and a bit through the forest, there is a lake to swim in, Ällmora swamp, if you prefer. In Tyresö, Brevik, there are many nice walking paths and rocks to sunbathe and swim from. If you want a child-friendly beach, Ällmorabadet is about 250 m from the house. If you want to take a trip to Stockholm, there is a bus 400 m from the house.

If you choose to have your dinner in Sjöstugan, the lake view is unbeatable, there is a simpler bar kitchen with sea water and a mini fridge if you want to keep your drinks cool. Bathrooms are only available in Ateljén, but for the adventurous people there is a beautiful outdoor toilet outside Sjöstugan. It is about 75 meters between the cottages, there is a hilly walkway that leads down from Ateljén to Sjöstugan. Later in the evening, you can light the grill and prepare dinner, which is best enjoyed outdoors in the evening sun. Welcome to the lovely Ornö, an island in Stockholm's southern archipelago. Here you get far out in the sea belt, where there are plenty of seabirds, beautiful nature and if you are lucky you can see sea eagles and a seal or two. Here you take a car ferry from Dalarö, or Vaxholms boat from Stockholm. You live in a cozy house with nice furniture, a newly renovated kitchen, a double room, a bedroom with bunk beds and a bathroom with vacuum toilet, shower and washing machine. The plot is a lovely flowering garden and a lawn, the cottage owner is good at flowers. Opposite the house is the spacious guest house with two beds, a small kitchen and in the guest house there is also a sauna and shower. The plot faces a meadow where you can see both deer and moose at dusk. About 700 m from the house there is a nice shallow bathing area with jetty, a little here and there there are also rocks to swim from. Around the front of the cottage there is a large lovely terrace of 50 sqm that houses both a spa bath, sun loungers and a dining area under a roof where also the gas grill is waiting for the next grill master. You can end the day with a sauna and enjoy the tranquility out by Väsbyviken. The cottage has a living room with an open plan kitchen where you have a bed armchair that becomes a comfortable bed at night. If hiking is something that interests you, you can easily connect to for example the Gyllenhielmska Trail down by Torshälla canal, the trail is 36 km and ends at Sundbyholms Slott. A visit to Väsby Magasin which is within walking distance is recommended, here is a small deli, furnishings, flowers and clothes. The plot is shared with the homeowner. Towels are included in the rental of bed linen.
