Welcome to a cozy house in Stavsnäs on Värmdö, the house is located high on a natural plot, with the water below the mountain, just a couple of minutes walk from the house. At the beach there is a bathing islet with beach, jetties and a football field with a boules court. The house has three bedrooms, one double and two single rooms. An open new kitchen with living room and dining area, with access to the terrace with several seats and sun lounger. The terrace runs between front and back, at the front there is a grill, which you can easily move to the back if you want. A fresh bathroom with electric toilet is in the house. The water in the house is used for dishes and showers, but should not be drunk, there is delicious drinking water to be fetched in a pump in the area. In Stavsnäs and the surrounding area there is a lot to do, Stavsnäs village is cozy, with café, restaurant and shop, there is only a short walk. Many boats out to the islands in the archipelago leave from Stavsnäs, take a day trip to Sandhamn or to another of the lovely nearby islands.

The summer town of Norrtälje is beautifully situated by the water, where there are plenty of nice restaurants and bars, there are also a lot of activities in the summer. If you want to take a day trip to Åland, the Åland boat leaves from Kapellskär, which is close by. In the immediate area there is a cozy café that also serves simple food. The house has an open floor plan, a small nice kitchen with dishwasher and microwave, a fresh and newly renovated bathroom. Washing machine is available from the cottage owners if you need to wash. In the spring, a large terrace will be built around the house, for wonderful sunny days and pleasant barbecue evenings with the family. If you rent bed linen, towels are also included. The house is located on the same plot as cottage 8907, so if there are many, you can rent both houses at the same time, for a wonderful family holiday! There is a lot to spend the free days with. Väddö has good swimming opportunities in two places, Väddö canal is the closest, but only 4 km away is the Åland Sea with bigger waves, rocks and salty baths. There is also a restaurant just 50 m from the cottage, Folk & Fä, where you can book both breakfast and dinner, subject to availability. The restaurant has full rights. Thehouse was built in the early 1800’s and features a large kitchen with a wood burning stove and an electric stove. The house has been maintained in it’s original style but features a modern kitchen and a tiled bathroom.The bedroom features a Wood stove and a double bed with a beautiful 19th century headboard. The landning on the upper floor is furnished and suitable for relaxing and spending time together. The garden is large and includes garden furniture. There is also a wood fuelled sauna. The lake is only fifty metres from the house, the sea is one kilometre from the house and both offer fishing opportunities. The owner has a rowing boat that you can book and the owner also provides five life vests. There are several beautiful golf courses in Uppland. The closest ones are Väddö golf course, only four kilometres away, and Hallstavik, fifteen kilometres away. Älmsta, 3 kilometres away, offers two golf courses, one with gravel and one that is paved.
