On beautiful island Vätö, just outside Norrtälje, you will find this wonderful place, a large house with fantastic space and high ceilings, tastefully decorated and lovely plot with direct exit to the forest. Bathing areas are located everywhere on the island, including a lake with jetty. The living room and kitchen have an open floor plan with kitchen island, plenty of seating areas, cozy corner, dining area and sofa, a glazed patio with direct exit from the living room, here everyone can socialize and still have their own space if you want. Beautiful floors that come from an old church, cover the entire living room. There's a wood-burning stove for chilly evenings. The bedrooms are nicely decorated with comfortable double beds in two of the rooms and a bunk bed in the smaller. There are two bathing facilities, a bathroom with a bathtub and shower, a walk-in shower by the laundry room, and a guest toilet by one of the double rooms. A spacious laundry room with washing machine and dryer is also available. Please not that it's not permitted to charge your electric car on the plot. The house has been completely renovated yet it keeps its historical charm. The plot is shared with the owner, but there's plenty of private space in front of the house. You'll have garden furnitures and a grill, perfect for lovely outdoor cooking. If you want to explore your surroundings there's plenty of attractions close by. There is a lot to spend the days off with. How about a day trip by bus or why not rent a bike for 50 SEK/day or 100 SEK/week and discover the cottage's surrounding area? If you want to relax after the excursion, the wood-fired sauna is available to book. The owners also offer the opportunity to book breakfast or barbecue packages for self-catering. Then sour herring sessions can also be arranged if there is interest. There is also a restaurant just 50 m from the cottage, Folk & Fä, where you can book both breakfast and dinner, subject to availability. The restaurant has full rights. This lovely cottage is located right at the water's edge to its own lake, you can not get closer to the water! A nice cottage with a cozy living room with fireplace, sofa bed and day bed, so there is plenty of seating. Outside the living room there is a really large glazed porch with a large table and a breathtaking view of water and forest, here you eat your meals accompanied by a glorious view, in the evening you have the sunset to enjoy. You can take a bath in the wood-fired tub or in the lake right next to the house. Unfortunately, the cabin does not have a shower. Two bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with single beds. Toilet is in the cottage and outside you have an wood-fired bath, or why not jump off the bridge and take a dip? Welcome to a lovely cottage in the beautiful environment of Stockholm's northern inner archipelago. The cottage is located high up with incredible views with a nature plot, undisturbed location. Beautiful sea view over Isättraviken. Here you can sit on the large sun deck and enjoy the peace and the view, watch the boats, hike in nature or take a salty dip from the rocks or from the sandy beach which is 250 m from the house. Wrap your bathrobes that are included in the rent and drink your morning coffee on the large terrace, if you are lucky there may be a bird of prey sailing in search of fish for breakfast. Wild animals such as foxes, deer and moose are found in the surroundings. Enjoy "swedish coffee" that homeowners offer. The house has a high standard and is beautifully and modernly furnished with all the amenities you could wish for for a relaxing and hassle-free holiday. Separate bedroom with comfortable double bed, in the great room there is a comfortable sofa bed for two. TV with channel offer via ComHem. The plot is large and undisturbed, where you live about 50 meters above the parking lot. The road up to the cottage is hilly (stairs are available) and is not handicapped accessible. Host family is happy to help with packing on arrival. Bed sheets, towels and bathrobes are included. New for 2021: In front of the terrace there is a newly built mini pool / hot tub in stainless steel with associated wood burning stove. Sink into a nice bath overlooking the treetops, the bay and the tranquility. Minipool / hot tub has both a regular cleaning filter and UV cleaning for good hygiene and comfort. Minipool / hot tub has the dimensions 2.8 x 1.9 meters. If you want to use the mini pool as a hot tub, you need to bring firewood for it. Take the bikes that are included in the rent (two pcs) and cycle along the coast, here are many gems to experience. Plenty of hiking trails, archipelago boats out into the archipelago from Östanå ferry location, or just enjoy being in the beautiful surroundings. On the plot (but in undisturbed location) there is another cottage (92614) which is rented out if you want to be two families traveling together. Rävberget has been in the family's possession for many years. We are the third generation to own and manage the toil and craze of previous generations for this fantastic place. In the area there was previously a mine where "Fältspat" was mined. The stones were then ground down and transported from the deep harbor in Isättravik to Gustavsberg where porcelain was made. Parts of the rails in our "roller coaster" come from the mine.
