Welcome to a cozy accommodation on Brännö, in Gothenburg's southern archipelago. Here you live on the same plot as the home owner in a charming part of 30 m² with a sleeping loft and a shed where two of the beds are located. You have access to a spacious and privacy-protected balcony in a north-west position, with a view towards the sea. The balcony is furnished with outdoor furniture for six people and several sun loungers, perfect for summer evenings. Directly inside the door on the left side is a bedroom with a double bed and on the right side a bathroom with shower, wc, sink and washing machine. The kitchen and living room have an open plan that invites community, with modern amenities such as fridge, freezer, dishwasher, oven, microwave and coffee maker. From the living room, which also has a sofa and TV, a door leads out to a large terrace. A steep ladder takes you up to a sleeping loft where two substantial mattresses provide extra sleeping space. Adjacent to the accommodation is a shed with a bunk bed, sofa and table. Brännö is a living archipelago island in the southern part of Gothenburg's archipelago with approximately 900 permanent residents. Song composer Lasse Dahlqvist has made the island famous through his songs. If you want to experience the classical dance at Brännö jetty, walk to Husvik on the south-west side of the island. From the mountain at the old pilot's lookout, at the island's highest point, you have a view from Vinga to the entrance to Gothenburg. The small houses and the narrow roads make the island very charming. Everything you need is here! Shop with post office, restaurant, bakery, cafe and church. There are also plenty of bathing spots. At Brännö Värdshus you can eat well and there is also a rustic and homely restaurant in the harbour. Via a narrow land connection, it is possible to walk over to the nature reserve on Galterö. There is a rich birdlife and lovely nature. Here you live peacefully, close to the sea and full of peace in a real archipelago idyll, with lots of opportunities for activities and outdoor life. The island is car-free and peaceful, but with frequent ferry connections, it is easy to get to the entertainment city of Gothenburg. When you step off the ferry at Brännö, you are immediately welcomed by the island's calm warmth. From the ferry, it only takes 10 minutes to walk to the house. Park the car at Långedrag, there are also charging posts for electric cars. From Långedrag it is convenient to take the tram to Saltholmen (1km) for the ferry to the island. The guesthouse has two sleeping areas: one with a single bed,120 cm wide, and the other with a bunk bed and a table with chairs. The guesthouse also offers the same breathtaking lake view. A separate building houses an incineration toilet and washbasin. Please follow the provided instructions carefully when using the toilet. The outdoor shower with hot and cold water allows you to bathe while enjoying the lake view. Purchase a fishing permit, which can be easily bought online, and head out onto the lake. Våtsjön offers both pike and perch, while nearby lakes also provide opportunities for fishing trout and other prized species. If you don’t succeed in catching dinner, it’s just a 10-minute drive to Karlskoga, where you’ll find a wide range of grocery stores and other amenities. For nature lovers, Djerfstugan is located about 1 km from the cottage, offering marked hiking trails, a grill area, and a spot to swim in the lake. In late summer, the forest is an excellent place to stock up on autumn supplies, with plenty of mushrooms and berries to be found in the surroundings around Långberget. The cabin, part of a semi-detached building, has a lovely terrace where you can unwind after an active day, relax, and enjoy the view and sunset. If the weather permits, there’s a grill available, so why not prepare dinner outdoors? The cabin’s living room features a cozy sofa that converts into a comfortable bed for two at night, as well as a wood-burning stove for evenings by the fire. Firewood is provided by the host. The cabin also has Chromecast, Wi-Fi, and several Swedish TV channels. Welcome to Tolered, an idyll near Gothenburg's vibrant center and the beautiful archipelago! The house is divided into two separate parts, each with its own entrance. To reach your accommodation, you go around to the back where your entrance is. By tram (7 min walk) it only takes 12 minutes to get to the center, where a rich cultural and entertainment scene awaits. Here you will find the Gothenburg Opera, several museums, numerous shopping streets, restaurants for all tastes and, not least, the Liseberg amusement park for an unforgettable experience. The villa is located in a quiet residential area with a lush garden that offers both lawn and towering apple trees. On the balcony there is a glazed conservatory with a dining area for the whole group. In the entrance you are greeted by a hanging area, and directly to the right is the spacious kitchen in true turn-of-the-century style. The door straight ahead leads to the neighboring apartment, and for access to the shared laundry room, follow the directions in the guest folder. Upstairs is a bedroom on the left with a single bed. This room has a door but no window. The living room, furnished with a sofa and armchairs, is a perfect place to relax after the day's adventure. Both parts of the archipelago are fantastically beautiful and well worth a visit. If you are in the mood for shopping, Gothenburg offers an abundance of shops. When it comes to swimming, Tumlehed (15km), Sillvik (15km) and Lilleby (14km) are the most popular options. If you want to swim in a pool, visit Lundbybadet (approx. 2km). The nearest grocery store is in Björlanda, (approx. 3km), and a petrol station with a smaller range of food is just one kilometer from the house. For a pleasant restaurant experience, you can visit Eriksberg (4km), which offers a fine selection of restaurants along the quay. Here it seethes with life during the summer months. Pike, perch, zander, lake, roach, bream and whitefish are found in lakes and streams. Fishing license required. Boats with motors and family canoes can be rented in the nearby campsite. The small pleasant church village also has a grocery store. Frisbee golf is available in the nearby village of Mårdaklev. A short drive away you have Europe's largest shopping center, GEKÅS in Ullared. It is about 50 km to the summer town of Varberg. The nearest golf club is Kinds golf club outside Svenljunga.
