The house is charming, rustic holiday home was built in the 1800's and is setonly 20 metres from the lake. It offers a beautiful view as well as swimming and fishing opportunities. A lovely place for those who enjoy nature and the simple life! The interior of the cottage is homely, with simple furniture, log walls and an open fireplace. The comfortable bedroom features a double bed, and the living room has a dining area. The kitchen is very basic, offering cooking hobs and a microwave oven. The bathroom has been renovated and features a shower. The cottage is situated outside of Hova, on Gudhammar manor, which dates back to the 1600's. This is a place that is easy to love! The cottage includes a terrace, garden furnished and a grill. There is a wood-fueled outdoor hot tub, which can be rented from the landlord for 1500 SEK a time, including wood. It's possible to rent it between May to October, the season depends on the weather. It is shared with the rest of the holiday homes on the ground (look at holiday home: 38743, 38744 and 96644). The landlord also has a canoe and a boat for rent. Why not go for a fishing trip? The fishing is free in the part of Skagern that belongs to the landlord. Take a boat trip along Göta Kanal or visit Hova during “ knight's week”, week 28. These are lovely activities for families with young children! Another nice activity is visiting the old town in Mariestad. The nature reserve Tiveden is well worth a visit. It is about 30 kilometres from the cottage and offers sights such as elk and other wild animals but also red water lilies. Welcome to this wonderful holiday home! The second bedroom is truly unique with a preserved charm and brightly painted timber walls, fine stone flooring and a large wood burning stove and is equipped with a double bedroom and a sofa bed. Feel free to take a trip with one of the passenger boat next to “Göta kanal” which is the biggest canal in Sweden and discover all the locks and sights that the journey offers. If you want to shop you will do that advantageously by going to the old charming districts of Mariestad.

With its beautiful nature and close to the lake Skagern, this holiday is perfect for lager families or big companies. You can rent boat and canoe by the owner directly at arrival and you can fish freely in some part of the lake. The bath barrel is shared with the rest of the holiday homes on the ground (look at holiday home: 40719, 38744 and 96644). It costs 1500 SEK/occasion including firewood for heating. It's possible to rent it between May to October, the season depends on the weather. The holiday home includes three sturdy bedrooms on the upper floor and a big living room with a wood burning stove. There are two additional bedrooms on the ground floor, as well an open kitchen area and TV room with comfortable couches. This holiday home has two bathrooms with the shower on the side, and is equipped with a washing machine and dishwasher. The house has 12 proper beds and two extra beds. In Hova there is the Knight week (always during week 28) which is fun, where you can experience the tourney and the medieval market. You can take one of the passenger boats that go through Göta Canal, which is the largest canal in Sweden, and experience the many locks. If you want to go shopping, then the old charming districts of Mariestad has a lot to offer. Around the holiday home there are large grassy areas for ball games and play. The estate has also animals that contribute to a pleasant atmosphere.

Welcome to rural living with forest and magnificent nature not far from Tivedens National Park and close to two of Sweden's largest lakes, Vänern and Vättern. Here you can enjoy wonderful baths with many attractions and exciting day trips. The house has a lovely plot with a large lawn for happy children to play, romp and run around. A perfect accommodation for families with children who want a good accommodation as a starting point to discover everything nice that is around. Smoking is totally prohibited due to asthma. The house is of older style and the interior is mixed. You enter a spacious hall. Directly to the right is a staircase to the upper floor where the bedrooms are located. Next to the stairs is a bathroom with washing machine / toilet and a hand shower. Straight ahead is the kitchen area with dining area for 4-6 people. To the left you have two rooms and the living room offers the heat of a stately stove. There are two comfortable sofas and a TV. Next door is another room with a sofa bed 120 cm wide. Here you go out to the terrace to grill and enjoy birdsong and sunset. On the upper level there is a sofa bed directly up the stairs which will be 120 cm wide. The first bedroom is bright and has a double bed of 180cm. On the right side is a children's room with a bed of 160cm. Here are toys and drum kits you are welcome to borrow but of course be careful. Directly in front of the corridor is a small toilet with sink. There is a little chafing on the wallpaper and a house of an older character. But perfect for you who want a spacious and simpler living in the country but with a lot of space and proximity to many wonderful excursion destinations. In the area there are plenty of less cozy lakes in Tivedsskogarna and Gullspångsälven are close to water life experiences - with everything from swimming, boat trips, fishing, canoe trips. Welcome!
