Welcome to Skåpesund, surrounded by beautiful nature reserves! The main house has four beds, and on the plot there are two annexes each with a single bed. (105cm and 120cm) The annexes are winterized, but the toilet and kitchen are inside the main house. Adjacent to the hall is a bathroom with toilet, sink, shower, washing machine and tumble dryer. The kitchen is modernly furnished and has a dining table for 6 people. Balcony door to a smaller balcony is available here. From the kitchen there are stairs to a furnished sleeping loft with a double bed (140cm), please note that the stairs are steep and the ceiling height is lower in the loft. The living room is homely with a large, comfortable sofa, a wood stove for the cozy factor and a beautiful crystal chandelier on the ceiling. An elegant black grand piano is ready for the music enthusiast! In the master bedroom there is a double bed (180cm). Outside there is an office with a desk. Rustic furniture and carpeting give a cozy feeling. The plot is next to a busy road and is fenced, which makes it perfect for those who want to bring a dog. There is garden furniture and a fire pit that can be used as a barbecue. From the cottage, you are within walking distance to the swimming area in Tranviken. On Lilla Askerön (about 2 km) there is a popular swimming spot that offers swimming school in the summer. Skåpesund is one of the narrow straits that lead into Stigfjorden and it is also here that the finish line for the sailing competition Tjörn Runt is arranged every year. Here you live with the proximity to the sea and picturesque archipelago communities such as Björholmen and Mollösund. Sundsby Säteri (2,8km) with farm café, restaurant and shop as well as annual events such as harvest festivals and Christmas markets is well worth a visit. If you need to shop, Myggenäs is 6km away. For larger shopping and entertainment options, it is only 15 minutes to Stenungsund and 45 minutes to Gothenburg by car. Good bus connections, with a stop just 50 meters from the house.
