Great place, great house, the road to it is tough. But you are really in the Ardennes. The view is phenomenal and the stairs in the garden are also great. We will definitely come back.

Very nice big house! Superb view and very nice helpful owners. Ideal for 6 to 8 people. Malmedy within walking distance (path down) and beautiful surroundings. Enough to do!

Fantastic location with full view of Malmedy. Nice private house with nice facilities (lovely jacuzzi), and yet it is only a few minutes downhill to be in the center of the village (this path is not suitable for less mobile people). There are beautiful walks in the area. We were here with a baby that went fine. In the baby carrier he went to the center, and dad carried the buggy. For crawling and running toddlers, the house is not advisable if you want them to play outside, because there is an open edge on the terrain where they might fall off. You can count on +200 euros extra of the deposit for the energy. The homeowner leads you to the location on arrival. The GPS does not know the last part. Given other comments I thought it would be a thrilling piece of touring, but that was not so bad. The last part is a tight, bumpy mountain path. Probably exciting when it rained a lot or there is snow, but we had beautiful weather. It is a little more expensive but you also get some highly recommended!

Unique location in the center of Malmedy. The house is elevated and secluded, but it is only a five-minute walk and you will arrive in the center where delicious warm bakeries and an excellent caterer can be found. Due to its unique location in the middle of the forest, it radiates peace and tranquility. Located on a south-facing slope, you can enjoy the terrace.

The cottage is in a very nice place with lots of privacy The interior is generally fine but can be improved here and there However, the road to the cottage the last few hundred meters is a bit of a challenge and not every driver will be happy about this. The stairs in front of the house are handy, which takes you to the center in 5 minutes. For cycling enthusiasts , the nearby Vennbahn is a godsend if you find the mountaineering too difficult . The owner is very friendly and with hand gestures you can get out.

But you should also know that this house is really in the middle of a forest and the unpaved driveway is sometimes very steep.In the house itself, the stairs to the upper floor are very narrow and steep, so you should be a bit flexible, but otherwise a wonderful house, we come again.

Friendly welcome, unfortunately I speak no French and the owner only French.Villa is beautifully situated, well maintained and fully voorzien.Enigste disadvantage is the narrow and steep access road, in winter periods only succeeds with a 4x4.Je looks over Malmedy and surroundings, via the stairs you are so in the center, which is equipped with many shops and fine restaurant. You are so in Germany or Luxembourg, or the many beautiful nature areas around Malmedy itself.

We are very friendly and welcoming by the owner. The house is fully equipped with, among other things, a lovely pellet stove, TV with Netflix, nice kitchen and outside a lovely Jacuzzi. During our stay the jacuzzi broke down, but the next day an emergency jacuzzi was brought. Top,!!. Only problem for us were the many signs. We had to remove 4-5 sign every day. Great view and a great environment.

Friendly owners, house very clean and pleasant. The outside view is phenomenal. However, the jacuzzi is outdated and very energy-consuming resulting in a very high electricity bill. Wifi is not very efficient and is often uit.Pellets for the stove is best to buy yourself in the almost HUBO (or other), is cheaper uit.GPS brings you to the beginning of the street, then it is a little search (Fortunately the owner is prepared to drive).

Nice house with beautiful views over the city of Malmedy. You also walk into the forest like that. When you do not like to walk in the mountains, there are plenty of opportunities to walk for hours in the High Fens on flat ground, both with dogs and without. Owner is very friendly and helpful, Pity that he only speaks French and no Dutch, German or English, so it was a bit difficult with my school frans, but I succeeded with some mutual patience. The house is neat and equipped with all comforts. Sleeping and bathrooms are neat and clean. Beds are excellent. Cupboard space is enough available.

A beautiful house in a beautiful location. From the house you can take beautiful walks in the hills or in the town. The living room is somewhat dated and on the small side. With 6 adults inside it is tight. Please note that there are additional costs on top of the rental price, such as a fixed amount per day for water, electricity (per Kwh), wood for the hot tub, etc. Especially when the heating has to be turned on (electric) inside, this can be quite increase. In any case, keep in mind that you will soon lose at least about €220 per week on top of the rental price.

1. Nothing. 2. Nice house. 3. Beautiful environment. It was annoying that you sent an email during the holidays with a question about the accessibility of the house. I do not wish to be bothered with such questions during the holidays. Moreover, it is extremely disturbing that after a reservation you are constantly bothering your customers with pop ups for a longer period of time. It could be a reason not to book a house through belvilla anymore.

Communication is difficult only speaks French. The house needs the necessary maintenance on the outside and is certainly not suitable for small children and the elderly. All costs that come with it I find really too high, had to pay € 225 extra costs, also charged 15 € euros for the waste which is not mentioned. Center can be reached quickly via a path with stairs. Malmedy is a beautiful environment. We were here July 2018.

Place beautiful! Privacy top. Only garden not maintained and general maintenance has lagged behind for a while. Shame. My hands itch. Plant in pots, remove some weeds. And living room furniture I would also tackle. New table outside with suitable chairs….

Vacation with toddler of 2.5. Very good, quiet location with beautiful views all you have to do to make a difficult path. The road to the house we would never do in the winter with snow / ice! Padje to the city very nice all this is not to do with a buggy and back off a climb. Malmedy itself is a good base for various excursions. Consumption costs as we did on the high side.

Very pleasant holiday home. Nice location, nice house (newly remodeled kitchen), hot tub and sauna nice to relax in after a day walking with a view of Malmedy. Lots of privacy but yet everything is within reach (shops, town center, forests). Owners very friendly and helpful. What I had read in many reviews was that electricity costs were on the high side. The owners were aware of this and have a pellet stove installed, and told that the cost did drop significantly. Highly recommended!
