In summer the town and the surrounding area is a perfect starting point for hikes and bike tours, in winter Brixen im Thale is part of the well-known ski area Skiwelt Wilder Kaiser - Brixental, one of the largest ski areas in Austria with over 270 kilometers of slopes and 82 modern lifts.

The ski lift to the Skiwelt Wilder Kaiser - Brixental ski area is only 400 m away, and various hiking trails and cycle paths are a convenient distance of just 200 m. The golf course and the public swimming pool are also just around the corner.
