Nice, neat apartment where you will enjoy staying. Very nicely decorated with a few nice gifts from the owners upon arrival. Beautiful area for walking and also nice places in the area to have something to eat or drink.

Had a fantastic stay in a very nice, clean, cozy and large apartment, where nothing was missing. The welcome from owner Jaqs felt like a warm bath and the meeting with our rented apartment felt like coming home immediately after entering. Very attractively and warmly decorated and everything neatly taken care of. Finally an apartment where we found that we did not have to take anything with us. Everything available in the kitchen, bathroom, living room, from even coffee to maggi, sugar, spices, hand soap, washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets, kitchen linen, bath towels etc etc...... there was also no shortage of a welcome package, including a handwritten welcome card, a bottle of Brut, a bottle of sparkling water, orange juice and a real Limburg pie!! Really amazing!
Upon departure we were treated to coffee and sweets and a tour of the rest of the building and garden.
We stayed here from January 2 to 6 and will definitely come back! Thank you very much and see you again Jaqs and Aagje. Kind regards, Roald and Claudia

Spacious apartment, good bed, lovely people with good tips for the area. We had a wonderful time. From the caves in Valkenburg to the Gulpener brewery and hiking in the Maas valley. Good base to go out in Limburg

We spent our Easter weekend here. Delicious flan, juice and painted eggs were in the fridge as a welcome gift. The accommodation is spacious and cozy so that you immediately feel at home. Aagje and Jacq are such nice hospitable people. We will come back here again to further explore the area and hopefully also have a nice conversation with Aagje and Jacq. Jack and Esther

Super cozy apartment! Reception was very friendly and smooth. A nice beer and a real Limburg flan were waiting for us. The apartment was super clean and tidy. The lights and heating were turned on on arrival, so we felt right at home. Highly recommended for a pleasant weekend away in the south of the country! Compliments to host and hostess Jacq and Aagje!

What a beautiful, spacious apartment! We are welcomed by the owners Aagje and Jacq. A detailed explanation of all facilities follows. The apartment has been renovated by Jacq himself and looks like new. The location is pretty central. You have both culture and nature within reach. Highly recommended: Maaseik, Sittard and Stevensweert. Another recommendation especially for geocachers: 'The great escape' (GC958YZ) in Elen (Belgium). On departure we are waved goodbye by Aagje and Jacq (and that was also a first for us!).

A nice apartment. Everything has been thought of so that there is no shortage of anything. In the refrigerator there was delicious Limburg flan and Limburg beer, water and juice. The reception was very cordial and warm. In short, you will quickly feel completely at home.

Made very welcome by Jacq and Aagje with explanation about the apartment and the garden. Immediately a feeling of peace and relaxation. The apartment is very spacious, especially for 2 people. The kitchen is very well equipped. We are used to it and therefore always bring our own knife to cut onions etc before eating. That proved unnecessary here. There was everything available for delicious cooking (which we like to do). Bedroom is very quietly located at the rear; the mattresses are soft. We fished for three days on the Grensmaas and the Roer, both very easily accessible from Roosteren. We had a nice dinner in Maaseik and scored beers. "In the evening we could always sit outside in the private garden. When Aagje and Jacq were nearby, we had to have a beer with them. Very cozy, without being pushy. In short: a highly recommended apartment if you like peace and cleanliness; everything can be arranged with the host / wife: a good ten!

A more than fantastic apartment is this. Lovingly decorated. The perfect mix of getting away from it all and feeling completely at home. We enjoyed it and recommend it - with the risk that the coming year will be fully booked - with you. It is an apartment that will make you very happy. No faded accommodation, but a really nice, cozy space, where everything fits. The area is beautiful, there is plenty to do and see. And no (why is that the first question we get from everyone?), We didn't go to the outlet. We are not into shopping, and certainly not when we are away for a weekend. But if you want to go all the way, Roermond is nearby. Within an hour you can visit three countries (walking or cycling) (Belgium and Germany at a short distance in the "waist of the Netherlands"). The landlords, Jacq and Aagje, are people you want to get to know better. The welcome is warmest. With both immediately good conversation. What fun, vibrant personalities! From us a big, well deserved ten in all areas. In short, if you want to get away from it all, this is a must. We will certainly be repeating it.

We were met by the owner and shown around the apartment, everything was explained to us. Aggie and Jack made our holiday complete by introducing us to the area and even to the point giving us a route to follow to see more of the countryside. The apartment had everything you needed to make your holiday complete. We spent the last evening with the hosts and it was just like we had visited friends. It is our intention to come back to this apartment in the near future. Absolutely first class hosts and apartment which was spotless.

It was a wonderful weekend! Accommodation We were received very warmly by the owners. They gave us a tour of the beautiful apartment, and then we might see a bit of their own home (which was also very nice). The owners were very friendly and gave us information about themselves and the beautiful surroundings. The apartment itself is fully equipped. A lovely sitting area, fine cuisine where everything is there, a lovely bed with a memory foam mattress and a very nice duvet and a nice hot shower. In the kitchen there were two delicious Limburg pie little for us and the fridge had to drink. Really a big 10 for this super sweet and nice people! Setting Limburg is very nice to drive through. We went to C-mine in Genk was a very fun experience for young and old. The center of Genk, we found personally not so nice. On Sunday we first went enjoyed delicious apartment to leave then to Valkenburg, highly recommended!

The hosts are very kind people and are very supportive. The holiday flat itself was very tidy, well equipped with enough room for two people and is located on the 1st floor. In the backyard of the house there is an option to sit outside, if the weather allows, which is nice. On the opposite side of the house there is enough parking space available on the market place free of charge. There is also a public charging option for electric cars. But recommended to order a charging card via the Vattenfall app before the holiday starts. Two fast charging options are in 6 km distance on the highway. In the village there is a hotel and two restaurants, but no supermarket. But in the nearby city Maaseik (Belgium) or Echt (Netherlands) there are many supermarkets available. Around 5 minutes distance by car in both cases. As bakery the one of Jos Puts located in Ohé en Laak (10 minutes by car) could be highly recommended. In Ohè en Laak it is a good place to hike/drive bicycle along the Maas river. We would like to thank for the stay and would recommend this holiday flat.

We recently spent two weeks on holiday here, lovely hostess and host who are ready for you if necessary, the apartment is tastefully decorated and upon arrival there were already some refreshments ready, everything was in tip top condition and the bed was excellent, we do I like cycling and have geocaching as a hobby, so we have been able to make quite a few routes here. Belgium is also easy to reach from here, we enjoyed our stay here for two weeks.

If you arrive at the apartment on a gloomy, rainy November day end of noon and you will be warmly welcomed by the hostess who has already turned on the heating and the lights inside, you will feel welcome! Very nice apartment, exactly as shown. The weather was very changeable, but you have to expect in this season. Therefore, and because of a cold, we were somewhat limited in the activities. Pleasant environment. In the smaller towns in the area had the gastronomy still preseason, so only partially open. Good connection also to Maaseik, Maastricht and Roermond. Very friendly welcome and further contact by the owners.

My opinion? Wonderful stay! Well maintained. Clean. Ample. Quiet. Privacy. Hospitable. We have come to rest. Have enjoyed the environment. Received tips from the landlords about outings, practical tips to travel cheaper to Maastricht. Tips on restaurants and other places to eat. Oh, and I got free coffee! YUMMY :)
