We were a short distance away to visit all the local tourist attractions and places of interest. The property owner was a great host warm kind and friendly and couldn’t do enough for us.

The cottage fully complied with the description. The serene tranquility, the space, nature and the view. The feeling of a real French farmhouse with all the comforts that entails. A wonderful swimming pool with a beautiful view over the French hills. For privacy, tranquility and still plenty to do in the area you have come to the right place. We were there with two families with small children and everyone had a great time.

We had a fantastic week in the holiday home. House, swimming pool and garden are well maintained and equipped with all comforts. The house is very quiet, but Hautefort is nearby and there you have restaurants and shops. The owner is very friendly and helpful and speaks good english. The surroundings are beautiful. Really recommended! We will definitely be back.

We rented that cottage with 7 people and it was very good. In itself it is old but everything was alright and present. The view and the surroundings are beautiful and it is really quiet. We have been from 8 to 20 July and had some bad luck with the weather but nearby enough villages and markets to visit. You will also find the necessary info in the cottage whenever and wherever you go. The bakery or the shop is a short drive (so 5 km along a small lane) but that certainly has its charms.

Not provided for 10 people (6 sunbeds at the pool / table for Max 8 people / small sofa) a pity that the pool has no roller shutter, the water would then be more pleasant in temperature.

Nice clean big house, it was nice and cool downstairs because of the thick mutes. However, little explanation from the owner. Promised twice to come by but never saw it, had to figure out what to do with the waste ourselves. No response to email, only available by phone. We booked the house precisely because of the beautiful tree that provides a lot of shade. On arrival it turned out to have been pruned so badly that there was no shade left, a shame to find no parasol anywhere. Swimming pool was a good size and neatly clean. Unfortunately, the WiFi was very slow and actually only worked in the living room.

The house - probably formerly a farm - is fine and quiet. The view is really beautiful! The accommodation itself is rather outdated, as indicated in several reviews. We did not really feel that the house had been thoroughly cleaned before our arrival. Washing machine was broken, as was the coffee machine. The drainage of both showers was also blocked by hairballs. The owner responded quickly after we reported this. In terms of kindness nothing to criticize. Upstairs was too hot to sleep down or cool enough. We were unlucky that work in the adjoining house was in progress, what the feeling of tranquility somewhat tempered.Al in all, we still found a successful holiday. The children have amused themselves well in the swimming pool. Shopping was easy in the nearby Hautefort supermarket. In summary, we found the price / quality ratio just a bit on the expensive side.

On arrival there was a terrible smell . There was a water leak . Everything is damp . Arrived Friday and no one came until Monday . If we want hot water, we have to open the tap outside. Skirting boards have been removed from the wall, everything full of mold. All our clothes are damp and musty . A dirty dirty seat full of stains is not normal. Sawdust from the woodworm everywhere. Really not recommended, I'll be in a damp, musty room for two weeks. Ready for demolition

The first impression was positive. The cottage, pool, beautiful view, peace. But as soon as we went exploring in the cottage, we soon discovered some lesser things. He home was not polished. Service was dirty and we had to wash ourselves. The house is in urgent need of a large cleaning and some renovations. Such as service, beds, garden furniture. It was very unfortunate that the neighbors of this rental house has 3 dogs and regularly had a blafuurtje. he also stepped back and stood on our domain. Not a good dog and we felt very unsafe with our little girl of 9 months old.

We arrived with 2 adults and 2 children. The house and the surrounding area immediately belled us. The landlord was on arrival umgehnd on site us very friendly. If you are looking for peace and just want to relax, here is just right, We slept in the house wonderful, at night you can see here a fantastic starry sky, the crickets of the crickets and the croaking of the frogs, from the nearby frog pond, is simply priceless. The view is just gorgeous. The house has everything to find what you need for your daily needs. Great, I think the really big fridge and freezer. So you can once make a big purchase, as the supermarket, where you really everything, by car about 20 minutes away. There are some excursion destinations here, but you have to take a little driving distance. Worth seeing and a really great experience for us was the Dune de Pilat. The castle and the stalactite cave were also very beautiful. The pool is a dream, the great robot, makes sure the pool is always nice and clean. My children loved swimming there. The house is beautiful on the outside. Pool is clean and enclosed with a fence. What value is there if small children are present! The inside is outdated. Bathrooms are worn and in need of renovation. The kitchen was not really clean. The fridge was out on arrival and it took a day and a half before they worked well. The freezer has never gewerkt.De washer leaked. The house was very dark and smelled a bit musty. The rooms on the first floor are broiling. Those on the ground are happy fresh. You must go through each bedroom eg, to go to the toilet ... The owner solved the problem by washing the next day on. He also brought us two bottles of wine. Friendly man so! For the price, the facilities were not what they should be ...
