Corte in Poggio is a family-run farmhouse located in a strategic position for visiting the major Tuscan cities of art without sacrificing a relaxing holiday surrounded by nature.

The farmhouse is divided into 8 flats, arranged in two different cottages. The farmer's house with its particular "turret" can be seen immediately on arrival, going up the avenue surrounded by cypress trees and houses, in addition to the owners' house, two other restored flats. Beyond the threshing floor, a terrace in rustic terracotta, an ideal place for evenings in company and where the children can play, you can glimpse among the olive trees the other farmhouse, in an intense red brick colour surrounded by greenery, which houses the other flats.

Each flat has been tastefully furnished in a rustic Tuscan style, with exposed beams, a fully equipped kitchen and a private terrace/outdoor area with sun umbrella, table and garden chairs for dining out and relaxing in the open air. Immersed in the Tuscan countryside, you can't miss a dinner at sunset, enjoying the scent of roses and the pleasure of a good glass of wine.

At guests' disposal there is a panoramic swimming pool with hydromassage and children's pool, a bowling green, a mini volleyball court, a children's playground, a barbecue and a wood-burning oven.

We had a very nice holiday. The interior is what meager and the mattress of the bed was very hard for us. Otherwise everything was fine and the owners very friendly and helpful. The view is very nice!

We had a wonderful week in Corte Poggio - Primula. The apartment is spacious and beautifully situated on a hill overlooking the vineyards and surrounding hills.

A fantastic holiday that is definitely worth repeating. 1 week in Corte in Poggio was too short. We still can not do much ... We especially enjoyed the beautiful surroundings of the house, the pool and especially the very warm welcome from the owners. The daughter speaks good English and gives a lot of information that you get as a guest tailor aangebracht.Een beautiful vineyard with delicious house wine!

Mid-September for a week staying here. Delicious locatie.Appartementen tidy, very nice and well maintained estate. Owners are very nice people where you can drop by. Award the guests rest and a holiday as those who wish. Pool was really clean and tidy. Comfy chairs and fantastic views. For all children swings, bikes, a seesaw and so door.Een location where we as yet again would go back, especially since you really sit centrally relative Pisa, Siena, Lucca and Florence. We even took the train to Firenze because the connection is top notch. Can only say that this is a great vacation destination.

Tip from the houseowner

This is a beautiful Farmhouse in the Tuscan countryside. surrounded by olive trees and vineyards, just 1km away from Stabbia center. It is a strategic point from where you can go on many trips as the area is very rich in things to see and do (from welfare to culture, entertainment) Nearby is Cerreto Guidi where you can visit the prestigious Villa Mediacea of â€‹â€‹1500 and the picturesque town of Vinci, birthplace of Leonardo. With about half an hour drive you can easily reach the main Tuscan cities like Florence, Pisa, Lucca, Pistoia, Certaldo and at about 70 km Siena and San Gimignano. A few kilometers away is Monsummano Terme with the Grotta Giusti where you can relax a day at the spa. For the little ones it will be a fantastic experience to visit the park dedicated to Pinocchio which is located in Collodi (ca. 25 km away). We also recommend you to see the Ceramics Museum in Montelupo where you can learn how the famous local ceramics are made. We also recommend many local restaurants and in the summer some "festivals" where tyou can taste the typical products of various locations such as San Miniato Truffle festival, very famous festival for the truffle connoisseurs. There are various seasons that are great in this region, not only during the summer, such as during the months of spring as the weather is always very good and the great cities of art that are nearby are not so crowded with tourists.
