A newly prepared bathing area in Hammersee is in the immediate vicinity of the house. The house is a great starting point for bike tours.

The bungalow is very nice and lovingly designed. Everything is clean and tidy. The size and therefore the space really surprised us. The outside area is very well maintained. There is a soccer field, table tennis table and trampoline. You can grill and move around the property absolutely freely. The landlords are extremely friendly and helpful and were always available if you had any questions / requests. We really felt comfortable.

We were welcomed very friendly and everything was shown and explained extensively. The house makes a new and modern impression and offers a lot of space. In terms of equipment, we found everything that was needed and more than usual (e.g. tabs, dish towels, rags, detergent, garbage bags, cuddly blankets for the terrace, towels for sun loungers, Senseo coffee machine, all kitchen utensils, filled soap dispensers, etc.). Particularly noteworthy is the cozy dining area in the kitchen, very good mattresses in the master bedroom, the separate bathrooms for parents and children). The parents' bathroom is so bright and spacious that I would have loved to take it home. Everything was also very, very clean. In the pictures in the portal it was also not apparent that the house has a rather small garden (but quite sufficient for some movement e.g. badminton), but the landlord's great garden is located around it. They live in the house next door, are very quiet, always there for questions, so we didn't find it disturbing. On the contrary, our children were allowed to use the huge soccer field with the children of the landlord and their friends. A small soccer team always formed quickly and everyone was busy and happy. Table tennis, badminton and trampoline could also be used. In addition, we were able to use fresh vegetables and herbs in the landlord's organic garden. The proximity to the lake should also be emphasized. We had our SUPs with us and pushed them down every day in a small car. I would say that the lake is at most 300 meters away. The bathing area there is a beautifully landscaped meadow with a small sandy beach area for the kids. There is also a kiosk (nuggets with fries were very popular). Everything was very relaxed and there were hardly any people at the lake until noon. In the evening, despite the high season, we were able to stop by and without reservations

The arrival was surprising. The bungalow was in a new-build residential area on a large piece of land. Unfortunately the garden was not fenced so our dog could not walk loose in the garden. The very friendly owner welcomed us warmly and gave a tour and explanation about the house. The bungalow was very spacious and had two spacious bedrooms. The "older" bedroom, with large TV, had an adjoining bathroom with a double sink, bathtub and rain shower. Adjacent to this was a utility room with washing machine. The other bedroom had two single beds, the mattresses of which were very thin. The bathroom with shower was a door down the hall. The very spacious kitchen had a dishwasher, large table, electric hob, but no extractor. The pans were not all suitable for the hob so the cooking was a bit difficult. The living room had a comfortable (lounge) couch and large TV. Both from the living room and kitchen you could open doors to a (covered) terrace. You overlooked the large garden and the (under construction) residential area. We have not been bothered by the construction activities. The house is well sound closed and insulated. The area is beautiful. From the bungalow you walk out of the neighborhood and into the forest after you have crossed a road. That forest lies on the Hammersee and there are various walking routes of 2, 4 and more km. It is ideal for walking the dog. A round in the neighborhood also offers plenty of opportunities to walk the dog. Bodenwöhr also has a very good Pizzeria called Bella Rosa (only collected), a bakery, butcher, bank, Edeka supermarket and ice cream parlor. Jacobs gasthaus also seems to be very good, but we have not been there. Brews your own beer. Bodenwöhr is nicely centrally located in south-east Bayern. Regensburg is around a 45-minute drive away. About 35 minutes to the Czech border. The area is beautifully hilly and wooded.

We are well received by the owner. Cottage was super, clean, well furnished. Everything you needed was there. It is a very nice area for walking and cycling. The lake was not 100 meters away, where you could relax. The restaurants in the area were simple but we had a super delicious meal there. The recommendation is to set aside 2 days for Regensburg, what a beautiful city that is. For us it was a very beautiful and relaxing experience.

There are well-designed paths and bathing opportunities around the lake. The garden, which is then fenced off with a dog fence, is also helpful if you are traveling with a dog.

We spent two wonderfully relaxing weeks in Bodenwohr. The holiday home is excellently equipped, very spacious and furnished to a very high standard. From the washing machine, drying rack, vacuum cleaner to sun loungers for 4 people, everything your heart desires is there. Walk-in shower in the spacious bathroom, another with plenty of space is on the other side of the large apartment. We even had breakfast a few times on the covered, sheltered terrace. Our dog was also very welcome. The location is extremely quiet, the lake is only a 5-minute walk away - beautiful nature for people and animals. We thank you for the friendly support, the nice landlords live right next door and are available at any time if you have any questions.
