Super nice and beautiful location where we stay. Staff very friendly and helpful. It is a pity that not everything in the park is ready yet, but that should not spoil the fun. And when it's all done, it's definitely worth coming back again. Cottages are clean and fully equipped. And the air conditioning is nice at these temperatures.

"It was a neat house, relatively new, still in a quiet park with very friendly staff. There was a small malfunction in the electronic door lock and the technical service was there within 10 minutes and it was resolved. All in all, we had a great stay .

Nice clean houses - eco concept is nice. The storage for bicycles at each house is sublime - may you emphasize a little more. The brochures with excursions are also very interesting. Nice trips to do and a nice restaurant within walking distance "De Meule" In short - we had a super nice stay

I had a fantastic stay at the bungalow near the Bosland nature reserve! The location is serene, surrounded by nature, and perfect for a family getaway, The kitchen was well-equipped, making it easy to prepare meals, The terrace was a lovely spot to relax in the evening, Highly recommend!

Beautiful and neat houses, certainly large enough for 4 people. More than enough kitchen utensils, storage space, etc. Comfortable beds, sofa… certainly sufficiently luxuriously furnished. Friendly and helpful ladies at the reception. Good base for exploring the region. Little to nothing to say about our stay! (Only to hope that everything will be well maintained so that the houses, gardens, padel ... can remain 'new' and tidy for a long time to come.)

The park itself is okay...assuming you're only staying for a few days. Everything you need is there. Unfortunately, as dog owners, we ended up at the other end of the park and therefore have to take the dog outside through the park every day. Furthermore, the house is not very comfortably furnished. There are no curtains in the living room, a lamp in the bathroom, a switch to turn off the light on the terrace, operating instructions for the air conditioning and cushions for the garden chairs. Also a few German TV programs would be very accommodating. A big compliment goes to the staff, who are super friendly and helpful.

It is a beautiful house and nice cycling routes. If you like cycling / walking, you can enjoy fine entertainment. The only drawback for us was that the center of the park was not open, we understood that it would be open in April 2022. So not unfortunately.

We had a wonderful stay at the bungalow near the Bosland nature reserve, The place was clean and cozy, perfect for our family getaway, The open kitchen made it easy to prepare meals, and we enjoyed our evenings on the terrace with the garden furniture, The location is super convenient, just a short walk to the local bakery and a nice restaurant, We also appreciated the quiet surroundings, which allowed us to relax and unwind, Definitely a place we'd return to!

The location of the cottage was great with a beautiful view. It's convenient that there is a separate bike shed by the cottage. The reception, shop, and restaurant are excellent. The bathroom is very small. Not every cottage is accessible by car, so you have to drag your luggage quite a bit. Otherwise, everything was present and clean. The surroundings are beautiful for cycling, but there isn't much to do in the village.

Ideal as a starting point for cycling trips. The park itself offers little atmosphere. No privacy if you sit outside. Hopefully this will get better when everything is finished. No heating in the bathroom. TV not working properly. Streaming is bad. Wifi still works well. I fear that it is not worth repeating for us.

When entering the cottage it did not give a fresh impression.
You have to vacuum the floor and pull off the sheets yourself, even though cleaning is included. Then there should be time left to make the accommodation look fresh.

The cottage is good, the park is small-scale, so you may not have the privacy you would like. It is also a good base for various outings in nature. Downside and what I myself have missed in other reviews, are the fighter jets that practice nearby every day. Unfortunately, this causes noise pollution.

A single fighter jet was able to fly over, on Monday our arrival day it was hit all day long. All other days several times a day. The noise from the highway is also not that bad. 54 decibels all day long. Housing very small for 4 people, almost Spartan. Everything is very clean. The park is small-scale and an advantage is that you can walk with your dog in the woods. But we won't come back again.

The park as a whole was good, but the cottage was a bit disappointing, despite the fact that it is quite new. It is clear that with regard to the decoration, especially the furniture, the cheapest rubbish available has been used. The sofa in the living room is of such poor quality (plastic filled with?) that this should not be to be allowed to. This offers no support at all and our back started hurting after fifteen minutes. Once we got home, we still have back problems. A second point of attention is the work lighting under the kitchen cabinets. That is simply not there and the lighting under the extractor hood does not detract from this. It is definitely too dark. We also think it would have been nice if there was a normal curtain in front of the window in the living room instead of just lace curtains. However: Excellent television with a wide range of channels and an excellent WiFi connection.

Our house in Roompot Eksel was good in terms of facilities. Unfortunately, there is no privacy at all on the terrace and the neighbors can also be heard inside from all sides, almost literally. Getting your luggage in the house is also a chore if you are a bit further from the road. The car is only allowed on the road for fifteen minutes, the rest on foot and there are no luggage trolleys!! The highway next to the park also races past all day and much of the night. Then occasionally also during the day the F35 ers from the airbase in the vicinity of the park. Nice helpful reception staff. Environment is very wooded, you have to love it, but countless cycling routes.

The accommodation was clean. But with thin walls so you can hear the neighbors speak. The loft (vide) has no air conditioning so at night you can barely sleep there. There are 2 air conditioning units in the accommodation. One in the living room and one in the bedroom on the ground floor. I would have preferred an air conditioning unit in both bedrooms.
So basically due to the high temperature in the loft in the evening, we only have 1 usable bedroom. This is a major fault.
The park itself doesn't have much. Just the accommodations and a restaurant. The indoor playground is barely 30m2 in size.
The highway is audible as a constant background humming, but for us it was not a distraction.

Cottage decor is good, just not cozy, think of bright lighting, no curtains in the living room. Television also leaves a lot to be desired with many blocks of image and faltering sound. The park is under construction and there are no further facilities such as a shop or restaurant. Also, part of the park is quite close to a highway, which causes noise nuisance. The booking was very difficult because an amount had to be transferred to Belvilla and an amount to Roompot, which subsequently had different booking numbers and could not be linked to each other.

This modern, comfortable, semi-detached bungalow is located in the car-free Park Eksel holiday park, and is ideal for a vacation with friends or families. Outside, the bungalow has a terrace and comfortable garden furniture. There is also storage. There is one parking space per bungalow in the central parking lot of Park Eksel.
The centre of Hechtel - Eksel is 1.5 km away where you can shop for friends or families. At the same distance, you will find bakery and a restaurant offering delicious meals and drinks. For stocking up your essentials, head 1.4 km towards the supermarket. There are many other interesting tourist attractions that are worth visiting.
The bungalow has a trendy design and has a living room with a TV on the ground floor. The well-equipped open kitchen includes an oven and a dishwasher. There is also a two-person bedroom and a bathroom with shower and toilet. You can reach the first floor via the stairs in the living room, and there you will find the second two-person bedroom. The beds are single box-spring beds, some in a double set-up.
Park Eksel also has six-person bungalows for rent.
