The owners are very friendly and they came to the house which is a pretty long drive for them. The appartment was very clean when we arrived and it was nice that a couple of basic things were already present like toilet paper, wastebags, salt and coffee filters. The owners made sure that we should let them know if anything is wrong but it was just fine. It is not too big an appartment but it has a very sensible layout so it still feels roomy. There are plenty of facilities including an airconditioning on ground floor, a dishwasher, oven and gas cooking station, microwave and a regular coffee machine. There's also a TV with French stations through satellite and a DVD player. But in the end, the best entertainment here is right outside the doorstep.

Very friendly owners, the cottage was very clean and everything was fine. You can choose a quiet spot in the shade or the sun around the house at any time of the day. The view is beautiful. At the time there was a heat wave so we had to look for some cooling, there is an (outdoor) swimming pool in Sarrebourg and a swimming lake in Langatte, both recommended! Since we have three very young children, long walks were not recommended (it is beautiful and we will certainly do it when they are older), you can walk long and flat along the canal at Lutzelbourg.

The view enchanted us immediately upon arrival. The hiking challenge was immediate. Moreover, we were very kindly received. No unnecessary duties, everything arranged immediately. We made beautiful walks and our dog just loved it. Only one remark an update of the information in the folder in the house is desirable information about restaurants and establishments that have not been established for years may look like, the walking info deserves an update (leaflets from 2008?).

Arrival very friendly reception, Mrs spoke good English, showed everything and was worried about something that went wrong and we could not use it from a safety point of view. Great that she apologized and showed that she found it annoying for us.Accommodation cozy, clean, safe and practical and modern ingericht.Emgeving huge freedom around the house through pasture and vast, beautiful views!

Arrival was nice, friendly woman showed us the house. Cottage is cozy and in a beautiful place. Especially riding the side of Alsace. Strasbourg certainly worth, just like all the beautiful ruins. However, some maintenance is needed on the balcony, garden table and things are outdated. But fire clean house!

It is tucked away at the end of the village. The first thing we saw was the view of the castle on the mountain of Dabo. A warm and friendly welcome awaited us by an enthusiastic couple, who explained everything well and told about the possibilities of activities in the omgeving.De peace, space, the beautiful view and the fun and practical chalet has brought us a wonderful holiday. This place also gives plenty of opportunities for beautiful walks and trips to lovely Alsace towns in the area. Strasbourg is definitely worth it.

On arrival the owner was already present at the house. She received us friendly and welcoming. Showed us the house. That evening there was a wedding behind the house. Fortunately not much trouble, because the weather was bad. We were later approached by other back neighbors that they thought we had complained to the police about the wedding, which was absolutely not the case. Did they believe us? It will. Anyway. So it seems that the house is completely free, but that is not the case. The back neighbors (older people who make a lot of noise with leaf blowers and other activities) were loud and clearly present. Fortunately not all day long. The house is located at an altitude of approximately 600 meters. First larger supermarket (Le Clerc) is located 20 minutes lower. Washable. We have eaten twice in the nearby restaurant (Zollstock). Very welcoming and tasty (and lots of) food. Experience a day trip to Strasbourg, Colmar and Riquewihr, as well as the Plan Encline. Last day we visited the small village of Saverne, with the palace of Rohan. Of course we have also been to the church on the Rock Dabo. You shouldn't miss that if you look forward to it all week. The dog could go free all week and went its own way. We were regularly lost, then she was playing on the adjacent pasture. Ideal without traffic nearby. Sleeping was upstairs with a steep staircase. That was getting used to, but manageable. The bed was not ideal, very low, due to a sloping day and getting out on one side. All in all, we had a great week in the Vosges and Alsace. The cottage was a nice stay for a week.We thought it should have been the other way around. to the side where the car is in. Then you would have a lot more room to sit outside and then you are almost as good as sunset.

We (family with two boys aged 1113 years) had a nice herfstkantie. The holiday accommodation we have sought from around the sport climbing areas that are present around La Hoube. The different climbing areas are mostly found in the forests around maarook Saverne. The cottage is very quiet and especially "at night it is very quiet. For shopping you have to follow through the woods many winding road by car. We have enjoyed good sport can climb, and the cottage lived up to expectations.

The cottage is wonderfully quiet on a mountain with beautiful views. It was very hot when we were there, but there is always a shady place to sit outside. The welcome by the owners was friendly. Fortunately, they also spoke English. That made communication much easier.

A very nice chalet, both from the outside and inside! (Very clean!) Everything was present in the cottage, but what was important to us was the storage space in the cabinets! A second important point, many walks start from the house !!!

Peace and a place for carefree to see you enjoy the whole day can be out two dogs romp and relax, walk if you fancy it in beautifully mixed forest. You feel welcome and relaxed because your house is furnished with quality, so you're good and sleep well. Even in the rain to enjoy enough, beautiful hiking trips by car and for lovers of nice restaurants in the immediate area and two within walking distance. We like to cook themselves, and that is also enjoying. Errands in the village and contact with people when walking and at a flea market a domicile are the most fun experiences.

Wonderful week in La Hoube, nice and quiet and a wide range of beautiful walks. 50 minutes from Strasbourg and very suitable for tranquility with sports (walking, cycling or beautiful rides) desire. We cooked a lot, but there are quite a few restaurants in the neighborhood. Do you need the car for almost everything. Supermarket is 25 minutes away! We enjoyed the owners are very friendly and speak English well.

We are a week went to this address. It is a beautiful house with all the trimmings. What we missed was the WiFi. The owners are working to achieve this. There is also a washing machine. The owner was very nice and spoke good English, very handy. The view of the church on the rock Dabo is beautiful. You also have a good view of the setting sun. There are beach chairs for sunbathing, the cottage is clean and highly recommended to book!

Nice house which is well furnished. The welcome was very enjoyable and we were spoiled with a bottle of wine. The area is quiet and we were pleasantly surprised several times by red deer in the garden. There are good opportunities to make nice trips to picturesque villages. And there are countless opportunities for hiking. Overall a good place to be on vacation.

Nice handy little house on a quiet and secluded position on top of a mountain with great views! Nicest of all owners after the introductory tour and give you your privacy. Cottage is equipped with all comforts in the living room and kitchen. Setting is beautiful, mountainous and very quiet. Villages in the area are provided with all kinds of shops for daily care. Activities, culture and history are easily accessible although you do have to travel further afield. Topper!
