Het huisje was schoon, bedden keurig opgemaakt. De keuken ziet er netjes uit bijna compleet ingericht maar we misten een waterkoker, dus dat was met een pannetje koken voor theewater, en een set. drinkbekers. De omschrijving van Belvilla met betrekking tot dit appartement is onvolledig, Het betreft hier een gebouw met various appartementen en gezamenlijk gebruik van een binnentuin. Ieder apartment heeft een eigen ingang. Dit is niet op de Belvilla site vermeld. Ons appartement was voor 6 personen, toch hadden wij maar 5 stoelen in de salon. Op de slaapkamers is bijna geen bergruimte of een stoel. Het toilet is zeer slecht toegankelijk, als je naar binnen of eruit wil moet je naast het toilet gaan staan, de deur van het toilet draait namelijk naar binnen en raakt bijna de toiletpot (met loszittende toiletbril). Nagenoeg alle binnendeuren sluiten slecht. Wel fijn in dit huis is dat het slechts 125 meter van het strand is, de omgeving extreem rustig en er geen last is van lichtvervuiling (straatlantaarns ontbreken). De inuitrit naar de parkeerplek is zeer krap. Met een standaard stationwagen moet je een paar keer steken alvorens je schadevrij naar binnen kunt rijden.De bedden op de slaapkamers zijn goed om te liggen. Alleen de afmetingen ( 2-persoonsbed 140x190, 1-persoons 70x190) is even wennen, van mij mogen de bedden groter. De locatie is een goede uitvalsplek om de stranden in Normandie te bezoeken, het is redelijk centraal gelegen op korte afstand van Ohama Beach.

Despite its location near a small beach, it was just not enough for him. It had been cleaned, but not thoroughly (dirty, plucking hair in every room). Half of the doors, both in and out, almost didn't close and creaked very badly. There was no proper (clothing) closet in a bedroom, only one rack and a small bookcase that was dirty. In the kitchen there was no kettle or normal shelf (while we know that this was in another house because family stayed there). There was again a lot of crockery and cutlery. So all in all not bad but we wouldn't recommend it to anyone else either.

The holiday home was rented to us as a "detached holiday home". However, it is only one of three apartments in the same house, which share the laundry room, the garden and the inner courtyard. Unfortunately, there is no indication of this at Belvilla. When I open the curtains in the living room or one of the bedrooms, I look straight into the windows of the other tenants. The patio/courtyard cannot be used so as not to bother the other guests. Hope you don't get any restless neighbors, because everything in the inner courtyard can be clearly seen and heard. Instead of a quiet holiday home, you get a very insightful apartment whose curtains facing the inner courtyard must always be kept closed. Belvilla offered me compensation of 10% , very poor service.The only good thing is the location near the sea.
