We stayed for a week and the experience was amazing. The house is adorable, a typical rural French home, the garden is possibly even more stunning and very well kept by the owners. The house is fully-equipped and perfectly usable, with vacuum-cleaner, washing machine and dish washer. The bathroom is comfortable and with a large shower. The house is kept in pristine conditions. The location is great, in the middle of the Champagne area, we could visit cities like Reims, or many small or big Champagne producers. Eurodisney is also pretty close (55Km far) and you can plan a 1-day visit very easily. Last but not least, the owners are adorable people, full of care and attention. I highly recommend it and if I will decide to visit the area, I will go back there.

Wonderful location! A very attractive and cozy house, where you can stay very pleasantly in the evening. With all comforts. There is a very large garden at the house, with many different seating areas. Also when it rains, you can still sit outside under a nice roofing. The owners live in the adjacent house and are very friendly and true tuinwaarden. In the area there is plenty to do: nice towns, beautiful routes through the Champagne region and interesting monuments of the 1st WW.So definitely recommended. the beds have French sizes (also on the site), so if you are very long / wide, then it may be less suitable. We thought it was fine to do.

It is a gem: gîte Marie-Rose in Picardy. With a very large, idyllic garden full of hidden spots and a vegetable garden that produces all sorts of delicious things. Every day when I came home or stepped outside, I smelled the herbs in the garden. Such a thing is a lasting memory. The hostess and host are very warm: you are welcomed with "rhubarb pie" (made from rhubarb from their own garden: delicious!) and they are happy to provide you with information about the region. It has much more to offer than many people know: it is the valley of the Marne with a rolling, varied landscape of forests and champagne vineyards. And finally, they also assisted me with advice and action when I had a problem with the car's air conditioning (there was a heatwave). In short: unforgettable and worth repeating!

A fantastic little house with an even more beautiful garden. A traditional gite with owners who offer a hospitality that I have not experienced in any other holiday home. Very nice place.

Fantastic reception by the lovely, interested owners. We were given an extensive tour of the garden, received vegetables from the vegetable garden, were allowed to pick herbs, and the lady had baked a delicious rhubarb pie. The large garden is paradise-like. The charming house is equipped with all conveniences, stylishly furnished with brocante. We, a family with two children aged 9 and 10, enjoyed our stay!

Very warm nice people who live in the house next door. A large fruit quiche was ready. We were shown around in detail. Charming house full of nostalgia.Beautiful garden with various options for sitting outside. the setting is beautiful. In the middle of the south of the champagne with beautiful views. Possibilities to make many trips with (historical) sights. At 12 km Chateau-Thierry and Domans. Larger cities (Epernay, Reims) at 40 km.

Great welcome by the friendly owners. We were given a tour of the beautifully decorated brocante house. Madam had baked a delicious rhubarb pie for us. The environment is beautiful and everything is correct as it is described on the website. The house is cool because of the thick walls. Above it is hot, but with fans good to hold out. There is a huge garden, which you can use with sun loungers, seats everywhere in the garden and even a vegetable garden where you can use some of. Really recommended! Oh yes and because I am a big garden lover, I was very happy with a whole tray full of cuttings that I received!

Particularly welcome (with homemade rhubarb tart!) By the owners who will be delighted if you ask for it, but respect your privacy. The garden is a true paradise. The house is a feast for antiques lovers. The different levels and stairs make it less suitable for people who have difficulty walking.

Beautiful traditional holiday home with large garden in a great location in the beautiful Champagne. A short distance from the bakery, supermarket and close to the restaurant and, for the EV driver, a charging station. From Chateau-Thierry, Paris can be reached by train in 1 hour. The landlords mr/mme Sanseau are warm and involved.

Warm welcome in a beautiful house with beautiful garden. Wonderful to rest or to visit the Champagne region. The charging station for electric cars 300 meters from the house is an additional advantage. À refaire!

We had a wonderful week in this attractive house! It is located in the middle of the champagne region where you can walk and cycle. The owner has carefully decorated all the rooms with flea market and upon arrival there was home-made rhubarb pie. Around the house is a large garden with lots of privacy and different places to sit. Great place to rest. But the environment is also worth it. Reims Cathedral is worth a visit and a visit to one of the many champagne houses (such as Mercier) in Epernay is also recommended. The house has a lot of information about the area and hiking maps. We made a nice walk from the church of Conde and Brie through the hills with sunflowers, wine and grain fields. As you like to see Fankrijk. To enjoy.

After a warmest welcome by the landlords and an extensive tour of the various gardens - full of the most beautiful roses and much more beautiful - there was of course a rhubarb pie waiting for us! The cottage is fine, stylishly furnished and fully equipped. We had a great week, partly due to the beautiful weather, so we spent a lot of time outside in the garden. The Champagne region is beautiful and offers much to see. Epernay is recommended for a tour of one of the champagne houses. The couple is really the most friendly and we were invited the last day for an aperitif with accessories. We left with a box of cuttings after having spent a super week in this gite. Thanks et au revoir!

We were warmly welcomed, guided tour through the garden on arrival, and a homemade rhubarb pie was ready in the kitchen. The house is attractively furnished, clean and comfortable. There are several seats in the garden, sun, shade and covered. You sit wonderfully private. The garden had now suffered a lot from the drought, the private garden can also be used. The evening before we left we were surprised with a glass of wine and home-baked quiche. We had a very relaxing week with our two daughters.

Very friendly owner. We were received most cordially. The rhubarb pie from the other reviews was indeed ready for us. Beautiful garden, pleasantly furnished (flea) house. Full kitchen. However, Wi-Fi and 4G reception is bad. We were given a tour of that beautiful garden, where here and there were some furniture that did not stand the test of time. Unfortunately, the cottage itself was not very clean. The double bed is very hard. Too hard for our taste. The cordial owners give a welcome feeling.

The many beautiful photo 's had our hearts all beat faster. The reality completely corresponded with what we had imagined. An old French house, formerly used were as flax processing company, full of beautiful old and flea stuff, and a great atmosphere. When we arrived there was waiting for a delicious homemade rhubarb pie on us. What have written previous renters we can agree, for disabled persons is not recommended. But otherwise ... the lovely garden, the cozy covered terrace, incredibly welcoming and helpful owners -with whom we fully deelden- love for flea and who were willing to help us to understand our bumbling French anyway) the wonderfully peaceful surroundings, the beautiful nature ... we enjoyed tremendously. and 's evening before our departure, we were once again invited to their home for a glass of wine and a homemade quiche, which we had a meal at ... Fam. Sanseau thank you!

The house really old French house which is colorful, spacious, decorated netjes.Sfeervol old \/ flea, it looks like a museum. Quiet area, but we were there during school holidays and there is a (small-scale modern) school in the street, so in the low season it can be more lively. The garden is sublime, wild nature with a piece of wood. The owners are friendly and helpful and if you ask them what they have always tips. For gardeners with green thumbs, Ms. is a connoisseur and Mr knows a lot of history. They live in a similar house in the same yard area, but guests garden is separated. So no lack of privacy. The house is best for all ages but not for people who have difficulty walking. The house is divided into living rooms, kitchen, 1st floor and two bedrooms. 1 with double bed, one with two single beds which cozy spacious stand apart. Room in the house fine, but you need to pass a room a ladder with one or a few treedjes off \/ on. Very strange. Only downside is that shower and toilet (spacious and clean) are far from the bedrooms. To refresh you need to get through the house. Kitchen is fully equipped. very
