Great house, everything you need is there. The house is in a nice quiet place, Gransdorf is wonderfully quiet and from Gransdorf you can take a few nice walks. The provincial road can be reached within 1 minute (and you can't hear it) and the major highway within 2 minutes (you can't hear it either). Wonderful trips to the Eiffel Volcano, the Maaren, the Moselle, Bernkastel-Kues, Luxembourg, Bitburg etcetera easily ground and all not far weg.Grote supermarket is 12 minutes drive. The owners are very friendly and helpful and respect your privacy. They live above the holiday home, but we have not heard from them. We have experienced our stay as very pleasant and would definitely like to come back again.P.s. The comment below about the curtains is nonsense. The curtains do not have to close completely, because the house has shutters that darken everything. Just a matter of looking closely and asking the owner, because he is always there for you.

Nice apartment, everything you need is there. Very clean. Location is quiet at the end of a sandy path and close to the forest. Beautiful hiking opportunities from the cottage. The owners are very friendly and helpful. And there is a super bread service! If you like peace and quiet, this is definitely recommended.

Only praise for this house and the owners! The cottage was super clean, complete, we received fresh rolls every day, beds slept wonderfully and there is a fantastic shower. During the heat wave, the house remained nice and cool. Although the owners live upstairs themselves, they leave you completely alone. When we went to them because our car broke down they arranged everything for us! She arranged an extra place to stay, rental car, garage (while they were all actually full) and kept informing us how we were doing. Thanks to them we had a fantastic holiday despite the car trouble! You hardly find nicer people!

The owner, who had heard / saw us coming, gave us a warm welcome. She gave a short tour. The owners are friendly and helpful questions can always be asked. The apartment is on the ground floor, the owners live above it. The apartment was wonderfully warm in these cold May days due to heating that automatically adjusts. The location of the apartment is on a farm yard, at the end of a dead end street, and therefore quietly located. The area is beautiful think of cities such as Kyllburg, Bitburg, Witlich, Trier. Or at the Manderscheid castle ruins or the monastery complex in Himmerod. There are numerous hiking opportunities in the immediate vicinity. In Bitburg is an excellent Tourist Information, where you can also get walking / cycling maps.

My husband and I were in Gransdorf, Germany. We had a great time there. Everything was present in the house and super sweet host and hostess.It is really recommended and not expensive! Moreover, you could go in all directions with the car. It's beautiful everywhere. If you wanted peace and quiet you stayed at home and if you wanted to be busy you went to a city. Every morning there were fresh rolls for us and the hostess even did our laundry. Well, isn't that fantastic? We think so !!!!

We were greeted by the friendly farmer, he told us something about the beautiful house that is fully equipped and with good beds. There is not much to do in the village, but in the hilly surroundings you will find the beautiful towns of Bitburg and Wittlich, where you can enjoy the terraces and various shops.

The owners were very friendly and welcoming. We had a nice evening together for a drink. The apartment was basic furnished and clean on arrival. Minuses: The curtains could not be closed properly, because they were too small for the windows. In our opinion, there were also missing bowls, for example muesli and/or soup, in the tableware. Tip for the owners: the presence of a fire pit or bowl would make the evenings even more enjoyable. We had a great time.
