Despite a lead from a previous guest, the house was difficult to find, but after a text message Mme Bayonne came to pick us up from the containers. It was a warm welcome with a short tour of the house and a welcome gift. Very nice! The house was quite clean at first glance, later we found a clean paper diaper under a bed and a mess behind a table in another bed and there were stains on the floors, which I have rinsed off. It is also a nice house with all the trimmings and a garden that has both sun and shade. Unfortunately, the neighborhood dogs bark regularly and the girl next door yells at her parents, which can be very annoying if you pay attention. To our surprise the adjacent barn is used by the neighbors, which we had not been told about, so we were shocked when that happened the first time. It gave an unfree feeling. It is also strange that everyone can enter the shed, because the spare key to the house is also there, so everyone can access your belongings when you are away. The surroundings are simply fantastic! The house is a nice base, you can go in all directions. We have seen a lot, such as beautiful old towns, beautiful castles and special gardens. We also think the Dordogne is a beautiful part of France with its beautiful views over the valley and the Dordogne river. Shops and restaurants 12 kilometers away in Sarlat and 5 kilometers away in Carlux is a supermarket. On the day of departure we agreed with Mme that we wanted to leave at 8 and that was no problem, but no one came. After half an hour and several text messages, which were not answered, we left without having said goodbye personally, which was annoying. We have hidden the key and of course let us know with a text message from where it was. All in all, the house is a must.

Have had a nice week in this house. The only downside we found was that the house is detached, but situated around other holiday homes and houses where there was a lot of activity in the evening. The music of a nearby campsite was often heard in the garden of our house during the evening. Now this is certainly not extreme, and for us not a problem, but if you really go for the rest, then you have to take this into consideration. For the rest a very nice area, lots of beautiful things seen and done. Very friendly owner too.

Thanks to directions from previous guests on your site we could find the house right (L "drive out to the dirt containers, take the right and follow signs of" Bayonne "). Mme Bayonne welcomed us with a bag of regional products, with fresh flowers. We got a short tour and the necessary info, it is a charming and spacious house with everything you need. Good wifi. In the garden you can sit in the sun as well as in the shade. Lovely sun loungers. The surroundings are rural with many small With a quarter of a hour you are in the beautiful Sarlat with several big supermarkets, market on Saturday morning and saturday, many restaurants. Finding the apartment is difficult. The easiest way is to come from Carlux, to L 'Homond and drive this mini village completely drive out to the garbage containers. Here, right onto the road and follow the signs for Bayonne (200 m) we find .The country house with thick walls and nice atmosphere spacious for four adults. the closet space is or small. the wash can not say enough for a small counter on the right side of the sink. When cooked much itself miss a functioning large freezer. Now there is only a malfunctioning freezer in the refrigerator. groceries are therefore necessary. Beds great. the WiFi is excellent. at temperatures above 30 ° C, the inside temperature is around 24 ° C when the windows, doors and shutters remain closed. the three weeks have been fantastic with privacy and tranquility. the Dordogne and lot with their many attractions are worth coming back.

Very centrally located. Friendly people. All agreements have been fulfilled perfectly. Cottage is basic and not spotless, but doable. Good wifi. Cash deposit refundable upon departure. We were lucky with the weather and were able to do a lot of trips. So we were only for breakfast and to sleep in our house.

It took me a while, but it was worth it. The house is functional. Everything is there. Great beds, very important. Also a good WiFi connection. A very good base for day trips in the area. Definitely recommended!

We had a nice holiday in this house with 2 adults and 2 children (5 and 2 years old). For children there is a playhouse, sandbox, swings and a slide. The cottage is detached, but there are some other (holiday) homes around it, there's no other problem, but the picture 's really it seems a standalone house. The area is really beautiful with many small hamlets and castles and some great places nearby. Au revoir.

The house is practical and space is sufficient for 4/5 people. The garden is playfully decorated with views of the distant hills. The owner respects the privacy and was kind enough to drive us to the local supermarket because we temporarily by bad luck could not have our car. L "Homond is a great base for outings and is a short drive from the Dordogne river where the most beautiful places to visit.

The house is centrally located in an area with lots to see and do. Of course in and around the Dordogne river, but also the caves, gardens, castles and old towns. Not always follow your Tom-Tom, ours sent us many narrow roads in.The house is spacious and down reasonably cool. On the terrace of the house you will find well have met a shady spot under the boom.Wij with the Dordogne and our two weeks a good time.
