What a wonderful weather! The cottage is fully equipped and always nice and cool. It is located in a beautiful garden that is very well maintained. Enjoyed the pool very much, it is clean and very cozy with the bar. The owners are fantastic, sweet people who are always there for you! In short, you really have a holiday! We were lucky that this incredibly beautiful, lovely house was still available.
The owners Frans and Peggy really ensured a carefree holiday all week through various little things.
A fresh egg, a jar of jam, homemade cake.
The gite has absolutely everything, super clean with a lovely swimming pool and use of the bar.
Highly recommended. !!!!

It was fantastic! With our two children (2 & 3.5 years) we fully enjoyed the house, the garden and the swimming pool! In addition, Peggy and Frans are very hospitable. They are available for questions, actively share tips for trips, surprise you with eggs (from their own chicken!) and soup, but know how to do this well in the background.
The reason for us to book was the enclosed garden and enclosed swimming pool. One less thing to worry about with small children. And it was!
Being outside in the beautiful garden where there is much to discover, the house has good facilities, a lovely swimming pool and beautiful surroundings made it a relaxing holiday.

Peggy and Frans are really so super hospitable. After a tour of their beautiful house and garden, we were offered a cooling drink at their nice swimming pool with unique bar :-) kids also very happy with all the pool inflatables. Nice seats by the pool. The house is small but nice and fully equipped. Beds sleep wonderfully. During the day and in the evening enjoyed the great garden and seen the most beautifully clear starry sky. Delicious by Peggy homemade pumpkin and zucchini soup and homemade jam. Eggs from the chickens and tomatoes from our own garden. It was a mini paradise where we could relax in peace. Except for a town and a few times to the supermarket, we mainly chilled, walked. Highly recommended if you really want to refuel and read a book. We couldn't think of what we missed during our stay so Peggy and Frans get a big 10 from us :-)

This beautiful, characteristic, well-maintained holiday home is located in a wonderfully quiet area. With many forests, meadows and water catchment basin. This area is a delight for walkers and cyclists (albeit hilly). This is the perfect holiday address for a week of total rest and relaxation. House, garden and pool are well maintained and clean. The owners are very hospitable and helpful. And on arrival the beds are made (lovely). Bath and kitchen towels are sufficiently available. We had a very nice holiday week.1 minus: activities are at least 15-20 minutes away, such as restaurant, shop, bakery and outdoor activities.

This house is simply TOP! Everything you can think of is there. The garden is a paradise, sturdy umbrellas for shade and 2 cozy terraces. At the beautiful pool you have a super cozy private corner with sun loungers. Everything is also spotless. Frans and Peggy are very discreet and at the same time they do everything they can to spoil their guests and ensure that they have a nice holiday. For us, this house is a 10/10. Super welcoming reception in the beautiful attractive garden. It is so nice to stay here that we never got around to seeing a lot in the area. Beautiful walks in the immediate vicinity and further gents of lovely swimming pool with its own bar, garden with outdoor kitchen and BBQ and shaded terrace at the house. It is an oasis of peace here, super plie in corona time. Peggy and Frans are very hospitable and ensure that you have a carefree holiday here. Really recommended this address!

From the moment of arrival the holiday was officially a fact, thanks to the warm welcome from the owners (Peggy and Frans) with a cool drink at the pool bar. And the pampering continued throughout the holidays, with regular attention from our host and hostess: fresh eggs, vegetables from the vegetable garden, ice creams, home-baked cake ... The house itself was compact but cozy and very well cared for. In the house a detailed folder with the necessary instructions and lots of information about all activities in the area, including various hiking maps, cycling routes, etc. A number of walks in the neighborhood were even personally described (with hand-drawn map!) By the owners! The beautiful weather, the beautiful surroundings (highly recommended for those seeking tranquility and nature lovers!), The accommodation and the attentions of the owners were the ingredients of a top holiday in the small authentic Montizon!

What a warm welcome! Frans and Peggy are extremely friendly and helpful people. No question is too much. The guests are also pampered on their own initiative without being intrusive. The romantic house meets all expectations and is also a cool place in the summer at high temperatures. Also the outdoor shower / toilet room is well cared for. The area is ideal for walkers, cyclists and nature lovers. The towns in the area are easy to reach.

Peggy and Frans are a great guest couple. They do everything to make sure that you enjoy yourself and that you lack nothing. The house and furnishings are complete and comfortable, surrounded by a beautiful garden. The house is in a quiet area just outside the village. In the wide area there are plenty of opportunities for walking, cycling, city visits, market visits etc ... Peggy and Frans are happy to help you and keep you informed of activities in the neighborhood. We are very enthusiastic about our week in Roussines.

Very friendly welcome by Peggy and French. Also through the week, Peggy occasionally came with little attention like fresh bread, or plums from their own garden. Very welcoming but not intrusive at all. Respect for privacy. We were very well in the cottage. It was wonderfully quiet, the area is beautiful for walking or cycling. Worth repeating!!!!

Enjoyed our week in this cottage. The host and hostess are very hospitable and are always ready for you. The cottage is decorated with love and is fully equipped. Beds sleep deliciously and in warm weather it stays cool in the rooms. Also the garden is a big plus. Well maintained and equipped with various terraces. We highly recommend it! Upon arrival you will be warmly welcomed by the owners Peggy and Frans. The house and the beautiful garden with swimming pool are top notch. Clearly decorated and maintained with pleasure and love. Everything you need is there. In the evening you can enjoy the silence, the stars and the sounds of the animals (owls, crickets etc) We had a relaxing holiday with our children (12, 12 & 14) in this beautiful part of France. surprises from our own garden and chicken ;-) on the garden table "the mornings were the icing on the cake. #spoiled

Have a wonderful week in the Charente! Peggy and Frans are pleasant, discreet owners, very hospitable and you can always contact them for additional questions. The holiday home is fully equipped, everything is there. Around the house you have a choice to enjoy a book or something else in peace and in the shade. The still new swimming pool (2018) is nicely laid out and equipped with the necessary sun loungers with cushions, umbrellas, etc. The WiFi for the guests also works great with reasonable bandwidth (eg; downloading a newspaper, skype with family).

Because she heard that we wanted to visit flea markets, she gave us a list. We had our electric bikes. Ideal environment for cycling. So quiet.

What a wonderful place to come to. To enjoy the beautiful flower garden and the swimming pool. Peggy and Frans are lovely owners (with a good heart) and very hospitable! Definitely recommended to go (it's really nice and quiet), they also have great tips for the area. We had a wonderful week with sweet and delicious gifts!! Warm welcome by hospitable owners. Also during the week occasionally had nice contact with them. They know the region well and can give you all kinds of tips for activities. The house is nicely decorated with attention to details. The bed is fine. Around the house there are several places where you can sit in the shade or in the sun. It is very quietly situated on the edge of a hamlet. Really a place where you can unwind. From the house and in the area you can make beautiful short and longer walks.

Geweldige ontvangst. Peggy en Frans zijn heel hartelijk, vriendelijk en hebben ons ontzettend verwend.
- Onze (elektrische) fietsen mochten in de schuur.
- er lagen diverse wandel en fietsroutes voor ons klaar
- elke dag verraste Peggy ons weer met iets lekkers: verse eitjes, eigen gemaakte bosbessenjam, vijgenjam, cake en zelfs bij ons vertrek kregen we nog heerlijke gehaktballen mee
