Lovely quiet house with good facilities. Very welcoming received by the owner, who even spoke a little English. Heather is shared, but more than enough privacy through the hedge. Dogs walk occasionally loose across the yard, but are very friendly and bark rarely if ever.

Friendly welcome by owner. The interior of the house is somewhat "nostalgic" but ok. For the electric wheelchair, doors and passageways are wide enough which is exceptional for a holiday home. Also the adjustment by means of a special higher extra mattress was very handy in the care (back friendly). The environment was beautiful, deer, hares and other game ..., but nothing else to do. Also walks in nature are almost impossible. Bakker every morning 7 km away, shop 15 km.Alles had a nice holiday together.

Decent holiday without much frills. Perfect for 4 people. Two bedrooms with two beds each, two bathrooms (1 with bath, 1 with walk-in shower). Suitable for wheelchair use (barrier-free, wide doors (except bathroom with bath), no wheelchair accessible countertop). Good wifi and desktop computer available. Spacious garden at the front and next to the house (should have been better maintained). Location very rural in group of 4 farms near village Giroux. Owner's holiday residence lives in neighboring farm. Very friendly and responds quickly to questions and / or problems. Shops at ca. 7 km in Vatan. Many Romanesque village churches and nice village centers in the immediate vicinity. Furthermore, cities like Issoudun, Chateauroux and Bourges are worth a visit. In the house are many tourist folders and also a lot of info about shops, restaurants and the like.

Quietly situated austere house next to the owner's house and connected to his sister's house. Very nice people who respect your privacy. They themselves have the garden on the other side of the house. The owner also speaks English and his sister a bit. In the morning no sun on the terrace at the front of the house. But the entire garden is at your disposal so you can sit in the morning sun next to or in front of the house. Beds, plumbing, kitchen equipment and crockery all fine. Rural located in an agricultural area within walking distance deer, pheasants, partridges and hares seen.

We enjoyed our holiday in this forgotten part of France. It is quiet, no tourism, and everyone is very friendly. moreover enough to do well with kids, great pool 8 km and 12 km, spectacular zoo 50 km (day trip), stars observatory and endless wheat fields. We have motor driven on the small roads between the fields, markets and visited the dog to swim in lakes. A week was too short, the weather was beautiful so all in all a must in the summer, "winter might be a bit desolate.

We, (Father, Mother and daughter aged 18) have had a great holiday week here. The location is certainly not spectacular, but soothing. The property is neat, typically furnished, but fully equipped. Because the farm amidst the cornfields is you have a relatively large burden of large insects (dragonflies, wasps). Surrounding cities like Vierzon, Chateauroux are not special, Bourges is, however nice. You have to love it, but a visit to the castle of Valencay and the Beauval zoo are worth. The owners of Le Petit Bois Girard especially nice and you come up with a book and a glass of wine relax on the covered terrace. Overall highly recommended.

A good house to spend a nice holiday. The Loire castles are not too far away and do well for a day trip. Close its two castles that are recommended to visit. The area is very peaceful with vast corn fields. Also for wheelchair a good house, a good adapted bathroom. Only the kitchen is quite narrow for a wheelchair and quite high counter.

Week was in May. Unfortunately, no good again. Owner offered us a compensatory (free) or longer stay next time 50% discount. Very nice! House is fine, a bit dark inside. Is fully equipped. Terrace is fine, just our idea on the wrong side of the house, no view. Patio roof would still be made, but the rain that has not happened. Very vast area, only arable fields. No villages nearby, the nearest shop you must be 10 miles away. Also no baker discover closer. Rest seekers and readers will enjoy themselves here, but I would not go with children.

We booked the accommodation to have a break on our way to the Midi Pyrenees. We found the Gite comfortable and appropriate. The owner very friendly and helpful. The wildlife in the surrounding area was excellent. Owls deers Hawks. Great for Nature lovers.
The owners dogs and cats were friendly.

Well furnished house. Friendly owners live in the adjacent buildings. The area consists of vast agricultural land with deer and pheasants. An hour's drive offers many attractions. A very nice and quiet house located in the countryside on the outskirts of a tiny little village. Equipped with every comfort (equipped kitchen, two bathrooms, own PC with internet connection, etc.) you can feel free to stay a while. The owner is helpful and is always available, but not intrusive. Small detail, this is a paradise for dogs. There are at least three round so quickly a pleasant affair is in the courtyard which overlooks the holiday. On the back stretch many square kilometers of farmland and forests from where you are lucky the deer looks so pass. During our week stay there we were lucky to be able to bring this show twice maken.Als base to explore the castles of the Loire to storm this place is indeed very suitable. The "big clappers" are all on average one hour drive away, which is good to do.

The house is quite nice inside, and pleasantly decorated. Be aware that it is quite remote, so ideal for people who really love peace, such as cycling and fishing. For us it was too quiet, and too little variety in the landscape, all very flat and some corn and sunflower fields. But that in turn has the advantage that you often pheasants, deer, rabbits and falcons sees. The house is also on the same site as that of the owner and his sister, so you are not alone, but they give you your privacy, moreover, they are very nice people!
